Carved Round Hardwood Wall Mounted Hooks

Handmade carved round wall mounted hooks made from solid Oak and Ash but can be made form Sapele, Beach, Walnut or many other timbers. The surface of the hooks is individually carved to give a unique textural surface that make them very tackle and visually interesting. The hooks have been made with sharp face edge and a chamfered rear edge to help guide place and remove items easily. They come finish in either raw, oil or burnt black they can be used and in room and are suitable for coats, bags, robes, coats and many other items or just as a decorative piece to add interest and texture to a space.

The hooks available in various diameters and can be made to any diameter. They have a sharp face edge and a chamfered rear edge to help guide place and remove items easily. They are very easily attached to a wall or door with the M6/M8 screw and wall plug (all fitting are supplied). Just drill a pilot hole for the universal wall plug, place the plug in the pilot hole. Then screw the fixing half way to the plug and screw the hook in to position on the remainder of the fixing. (note if fixing to a timber structure the wall plug isn't required).

The timber is a natural product and the grain, texture and colour may vary slightly. If you require a specific timber please let me know and I'll let you know what I have available.

Dead Girl And Rat Girl for the WIP ask game?

Dead Girl and Rat Girl, from this list of my wips here, as the name suggests is born entirely of the "Hi. How've you been?" "Rat. You?" "Dead." exchange. I really wanted to explore that space of Buffy and Amy similarly being dragged out of a terrible fate, dropped back into everyday life with minimal support to get through what happened to them and dealing with that by making some somewhat self destructive choices. Choices like Amy becoming Buffy's magic sort of drug dealer to help them both take the edge off. I also really hope that this working title does not become the actual title but I do have a lot of precedence of Adjective Girl(s) for episode titles so I could probably get away with it.

This is my newest wip so it's alas similarly short as but at least this one I'm not planning for it to be a full rewrite like 'S6 Kendra + Amy AU'. This one I just want to be a oneshot stretching at least as far as Older and Far Away.

The snippet here is near the beginning, the context being shortly post Wrecked Buffy's gone to visit Amy and make sure she's not going to be anywhere near Willow and more importantly Dawn but is getting a bit sidetracked by how much Amy's not handling everything.

Amy twists her neck and stares at something in the corner of her room that Buffy can’t make out, “Did you hear that?”

“Hear what?”

“That cat,” she somehow gets even more rigid, wraps her arms tighter around her knees “My dad says they don’t have one but I keep hearing it,”

“I don’t hear anything, Amy,” she doesn’t look convinced so Buffy adds “I’ve got pretty good hearing, all the better for Slaying,”

“Are you sure? No you wouldn’t lie to me, would you?” Her face cracks in half as she twists the corners of her mouth up into a smile. It’s almost like she doesn’t remember how to do it. Buffy looks away, uncomfortable with how familiar it looks, “I’m probably just be a bit on edge, don’t worry I can fix that,” Buffy looks back to see her pressing two fingers to her temple, swirling around them and into her head is a sparkle of magic she knows well from years of friendship with Willow. Slowly, Amy’s posture loosens, she lays back until she’s almost melting into the bed.

“Is,” Buffy’s mouth dries looking at how relaxed Amy looks “Is that what you did with Will?”

Amy nods casually, “Some of it anyway. One of the first spells I taught myself. I still can’t believe I found it in one of my mom’s spellbooks, maybe if she’d used it on herself she wouldn’t have been so her,” even with how loose she’s acting now there’s a seriousness that creeps into her voice as she adds “Thanks again for that,”

That covers a lot. But Buffy’s sure Amy wants to go over that as little as she’d want to go over what happened last year with her own mom. She just shrugs and says “It’s my job,”

“You want some?” her grin looks a lot more natural on her relaxed face as she wiggles her fingers at Buffy “You must be pretty tense too, not dead girl,”

Buffy stares at the outstretched hand. This wasn’t how she’d imagined coming over to confront Amy would go. She should’ve expected it. Peer pressure, she’d seen the PSAs, this must’ve been what had happened with Willow. What had made her do what she did, no matter what Amy said she knew Willow, she wasn’t like this. Buffy should just turn Amy down, leave and go back to her normal weird life.

But. She is tense. She’s been tense for months. Ever since crawling out of the ground. Her normal life isn’t exactly helping. And it might help. Not just her, but to know what was going through Willow’s head when she took Dawn for a joyride. And she’d be responsible, she was the Slayer, she’d not get up to any funny business.

She nods, before she can talk herself out of it, Amy grins reassuringly and presses her fingers to Buffy’s forehead.

It starts slowly, a tingle spreading from her head to her toes and fingertips. When her shoulders start to droop Amy shifts along to the side of her bed and pats the mattress for Buffy to join her.

Everything is still there. She’d still died. She’d still come back. Her mom was still dead. She still had bills to pay. A sister to look after. But there was something in between her and that, it felt like it’d been years since she’d just sat down. And now she was even laying.

omg. you don't know it but you your friend just unleashed pandora's box. i LOVE getting to wax poetic about dating sims.

now i mostly dabble in visual novels but as of right now love and deepspace is about the highest quality dating sim you can get on mobile (though you need a metric fuckton of space so i don't recommend it unless you have like. an ipad or other mobile device with a lot of storage on it) and it really gives you a lot of bang for your buck i recommend it.

NOW ONTO MY REAL RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Our Life: Beginnings and Always

I'm not even remotely exaggerating when I say this game changed my life. It has only one love interest (at least in the base game) but he's so sweet and incredible you really don't need any more. it follows your character (who is highly customizable) and his as you two go from the ages of 8 to 23 and it's just. ugh. its so good. base game is completely free so you really have nothing to lose by giving it a shot.

2. First Bite (and it's sequel)

Have you ever wanted to date a vampire? Have you ever wanted to date THREE vampires? This game is for you. Funny, sexy, vampy, it truly scratches the modern man's itch to abandon all responsibility and go live with hot immortal beings. 10 bucks on itch.io and steam so if you have the money to spare i highly recommend it.

3. The Hana Awase series

This series of 4 related games dares to ask questions like "what if you were in yugioh, but your ability to play the game hinged on your virginity, but ALSO your teammate was really really hot?" and "how crazy is TOO crazy for a man to be about you?" and you will never expect the answers to those questions. absolutely batshit insane, horny, and convoluted all in one. these games are (i believe) nintendo switch only, and kinda pricey, and pretty complicated, but i feel obligated to put them on the list purely because of how unhinged of an experience they provide. also the card game is really fun.

4. Blooming Panic

Who says you can't find love in a discord server? E-dating simulator that's what I would describe as lovingly cringe. Also free, so if you look into it and like the character design, by all means give it a go.

5. Cinderella Phenomenon

One of my first otomes so it's pretty special to me. Basic premise is enemies to lovers for most routes except YOU'RE the problem 😭 the mc is bratty and entitled and you will want to strangle her but it honestly has some of the best character development I've seen to date. Also free on itch.io (and I think Steam as well)

An honorable mention goes to Date Everything which is just an absolute ball to play and is clearly a labor of love from everyone involved.
