there was a rumor going around that they actually started filming in lithuania for real yesterday. and some of the cast (at least charlie and natalia) were seen in atlanta, but filming there still doesn’t start until march as far as anyone knows. the casting calls all have feb. 13 as a fitting/hair appointment day so that might be what they’re preparing for now. also, strangerthingsfilming has a countdown in their story leading up to something season four related on monday night

OH?? do you know where the lithuania rumour comes from??? bc i’m literally wilding at even the IMPLICATIONS.... but yeah i don’t think charlie and natalia being in atlanta has much to do with filming bc charlie is gonna be separate anyway, he wouldn’t be filming in atlanta this early on! and omg i didn’t know they were doing hair appointments feb 13 that’s so SOOOOOOOOOON i know we’re not gonna get anything til march but still!!! THINGS ARE SLOWLY PICKING UP!!!

and i saw that countdown but i’m kinda conflicted bc i feel like if it was something REALLY substantial they would post it right away?? idk we’ll just have to wait and see i guess, hopefully it’s something good

stranger things hits so different if you’ve been here since the beginning like i can’t explain what this show does to my brain

it’s so satisfying although agonizing to have to wait for the seasons to come out but then get to see how much everyone has grown and how the show has progressed

like season one … i still VIVIDLY remember watching it in 2016. i was 13 at the time and it was the first tv show other than avatar the last airbender that actually made me cry. like i remember it so fucking well. and season 2 era?? it was so superior i can’t even explain it like you really had to be here… the halloween vibes??? byler?? the PROMO for season 2?? i miss it so much… and season 2 feels SO long ago to me because i had just started high school. i remember when we found out that season 3 was set in the summer and i ran to all my friends in drama class and told them lol. and OMG?? season 3 filming era?? who remembers the rise of strangerthingsfilming?? all the season 3 set pics we got… yall it was INSANNNEEEEE TIMES.

like i associate every season of the show with a particular era of my life which is what makes all this analysis SO SATISFYING FOR ME… it just makes my brain buzz irktmfkskfmemdmmd i love it

this is why byler for example just hits me on such a deep level because i truly have grown up with these characters and been the same age as them and have really been here for the ENTIRE SLOW BURN…. it just makes it sooo SOOOOO…. AAAAAAAAAHGGSHRBFNNDNDMDMDMDK

Season 4 Filming Update:

With the rumblings of production starting back up soon, curious eyes have been searching for any new information on the fourth season’s schedule. While exact dates are still subject to change, here is the rough #ST4 filming schedule to put some of your minds at ease. #StrangerThings4 is set to begin shooting NEXT WEEK! Production will be jetting off to Lithuania to begin shooting primarily (if not exclusively) at the Lukiškės Prison in the country’s capital. ⠀ ⠀ After an estimated one month in Europe, and a quick stop in Atlanta for the big table read, production will be headed off to... ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Albuquerque, New Mexico! That’s right, #StrangerThings is moving away from the Peach State (temporarily, at least) to film in the Southwestern United States. New Mexico is going to be a major filming hub this season, so expect to hear more from this area. Finally, at some point during production, the cast & crew will be headed back to Atlanta, Georgia to finish off whichever scenes they need completed in Stranger Things’ home state.
