Rivals to lovers Makoto x fem oc part 1

It was just like any normal day, training for the upcoming tournament that would be taking place in America. This tournament is claimed to have some of the strongest and talented fighters from all over the world. I’ve been looking forward to this tournament for the past few months, just the idea of fighting against the some of the strongest fighters from around the world seemed extremely appealing to me. The more I thought about it the more motivated I became to train harder to fight against these potential challengers.

After spending the whole day training for the tournament, I decided that it would be a good time to take a break and get something to eat. I choose to eat at the local ramen shop because not only is it cheaper than all the other places in town, but it was also the fact that this place also had some of the most delicious ramen I’ve ever eaten in my entire life.

“Welcome back Shiro, will it be your usual again today? the shop owner said as I walked inside the shop. The owner was a middle aged man who owned the place. I was considered one of his most loyal customers due to me visiting his shop for food almost every day after training.

I nodded my head, telling him that I”ll have the usual again today. The owner quickly prepared my bowl of tonkotsu ramen and prepared me a cup of tea to go with it. I thanked him for the food and proceeded to eat it all. After eating my food, I had a chat with the shop owner about the upcoming tournament.

“So, I heard that the tournament will have some of the strongest fighters in the world. Think that you could take on that challenge Shiro?”

I respond back with a slight laugh, saying that I was completely confident that I was going win and earn the title of the strongest fighter in the world. 

It was when I was almost done finishing up, the owner asks me another question,

”Hey Shiro, how is your family doing?”

I responded back by saying that my family were doing well and that they were going to be cheering me on at the tournament. 

The shop owner smiled back at me,

”That’s good to hear, tell your parents that I said hi and that I’m looking forward to your win at the tournament.”

I nod my head at the owner, saying that I will be sure to tell them. I proceeded to pay for the food and left to go back to continue training. Once I arrived inside my house a few hours later, I greeted my family with a small smile on my face. My mom was busy cooking curry in the kitchen while my dad was sitting in the living room, watching the evening news. When I told my mom about what the shop owner had said, she became really happy and proceeded to hug me tightly.

”That’s so nice to hear, we should go thank him next time when we go visit the shop”

My father nodded in agreement, “I agree, it’s the least we can do to show our gratitude”

“Dinner will be ready in a few minutes, so I suggest that you go ahead and change your clothes” my mom said with a warm smile on her face. I responded by saying that I would do that while I headed upstairs to my room to get changed. After getting changed into my casual clothes, I went back downstairs to eat dinner with my family. I thanked my mother for the delicious curry that she made and went back up to my room to get some rest.
