Facendo tesoro dell'importanza del silenzio, delle amicizie durature, dell'isolamento e di una diversa concezione del tempo, i ragazzi di Salina, Stromboli, Filicudi ecc. hanno imparato a creare un dialogo intimo con se stessi e con la natura che li circonda."

katevoegele: New thing I learned this trip: Stromboli is not only the bad guy in Pinocchio but also a volcano off the coast of Sicily that people LIVE below. We sailed right past it this week on the way to Sorrento and it even erupted a little bit as we passed. Pretty sure if Eddie Munsen was a town on a map he would be this metal ass village situated at the bottom of a volcano 🌋

I have absolutely loved spending the week with all of these extremely special people in such beautiful places! 💛

Kreuzfahrt nach Panarea & Stromboli 🇮🇹

Ich schlafe bis 07:30 Uhr aus und starte gut gelaunt und voller Vorfreude n den neuen Tag.

Dann ist mal an der Zeit den Motor zu checken und Öl nachzufüllen.

Anschließend starte ich in Tagesausflug auf die beiden liparischen Inseln Panarea und Stromoboli (UNESCO Weltkulturerbe) miti meinen 4 deutschen Mitfahrern (zwei Paare um die 60-65 Jahre), die ich dabei näher kennen lerne - sehr nett, der Reinhold, die Annette, der Uwe und die Andrea. 😃

Von Milazzo geht’s um 12:00 Uhr mit einem mittelgroßen Schiff los. An Bord sind etwa 70 Passagiere. Endlich bin ich wieder auf dem Wasser - ich fühle mich hervorragend. Nach 1,5 Stunden Bootsfahrt und gegenseitigem Kennenlernen erreichen wir die erste der beiden heutigen Inseln: Panaera.

Panaera, die Insel der Reichen und Schönen angeschaut: dicht bebautes nettes Dorf mit weißen Häusern und blauen Elementen - hübsch. Leckere Lasagne verputzt und „Dark side of the moon“ in dem Bistro gehört. 😃

Drei Stunden später geht es rüber zur Vulkaninsel 🌋“Stromboli“. Vorbei an einigen Felsen 🪨 , die aus dem Meer herausragen und von Booten umringt sind. Beeindruckendes Bild! 1 Stunde später erreichen wir Stromboli

Wir setzen uns ins erstbeste Café und schnacken lange herum. Eine Stunde vor Abfahrt brennt es mich doch noch das Dorf anzuschauen - und siehe da: echt nett - ein Dorf um gut dort leben zu können 😃

Jetzt kommt das Highlight der Tour: wir fahren auf die andere Seite der Insel Stromboli um dort den aktiven Vulkan 🌋zu beobachten. Immer wieder stößt der Vulkan spontan Rauchschwaden aus und die Menge an Bord jubelt. Mehr passiert erst mal nicht. Wir sind geduldig und warten eine Stunde lang auf mehr. Die große Italienische Gemeinschaft an Deck skandiert immer wieder „Stromboli, Stromboli“ um mehr von den Vulkanausbrüchen zu sehen. Und tatsächlich da spuckt der Vulkan 🌋 eine glühend rote Masse aus und man kann die Funken bis unten zu uns aufs Boot sehen. Magisch!

Danach treten wir gut gelaunt 😁 die 2,5 Stunden Rückfahrt nach Milazzo an. Unter Deck ist highlife, weil alle noch ganz aufgedreht vor Freude sind. Um 23:30 Uhr komme ich erschöpft und glücklich wieder zuhause am Camper an.
