Soo I started taking violin classes like a month ago and both my mom and the teacher kept telling me (jokingly):
“did you know that the violin was said to be the devil’s instrument?”
(Coz it’s complex and difficult to play but also charming and luring (?))
And I was like “where did I heard of this before…”
THIS IS WHERE.
LUCIFER HIMSELF.
THE KING OF HELL.
(just for the sake of accuracy, the violin is played on the left shoulder but who am I to judge tbh)

My friend figured out that you can set up radio stations through a Discord bot, so we listened to MUSIC FOR EELS!

a collection vintage music with eerie undertones that I imagine alastor would play on his radio broadcast, and some classic louisiana jazz that ties into creole roots.

I have a very important question.
*it's an au where supernatural things don't exist. sam still went to stanford, leaving Dean alone with his dad tho. cas is human (obviously).
*¹ sam leaves stanford, leaving dean alone with john. he still hunts the supernatural. cas is an angel.

the more I'm unwillingly exposed to modern country music, the more I'm convinced that it's for people who simply don't like music

if you’re familiar with black violin or lindsey stirling and can recommend other interesting, high-energy violin-centric artists, please do so!
my newer playlists were distracting yesterday when i tried to write, and i’m glad i just remembered how perfect black violin used to be for getting me focused, but i’m wondering if there’s more out there i have yet to find.

John Cale - Dying on the Vine (1985)
"Who could sleep through all that noisy chatter?
The troops, the celebrations in the sun.
The authorities say my papers are all in order
And if I wasn't such a coward
I would run.
I'll see you when all the shooting's over;
Meet me on the other side of town.
Yes, you can bring all your friends along for protection,
It's always nice to have them hanging around.
I was thinking about my mother,
I was thinking about what's mine.
I was living my life like a Hollywood,
But I was dying, dying on the vine."

I changed my extracurriculars from religions of the world to radio production and that means I need to start a podcast to pass this semester.
Which is mildly terrifying because I have no idea what to name it.
