Admiring the walls and shelves, stocked with academic knowledge from all fields of study. Every day academia progresses further, and we're unbelievably fortunate to live in a situation where we can dip into the wealth of knowledge before us.

has a diverse music taste

rocks baggy clothes

doesn't 'fit' into the stereotypical dark academia aesthetic but remember being an academic is a lifestyle, not a clothing style

organized folders with files on their laptop

gets the best grades from their friend group

gets called nerd a lot but doesn't give a fuck

(I've never seen this kind of academia type aesthetic anywhere. it's a lil bit like modern academia but also not really. you get the point)

Modern dark academia

-making digital notes your tablet (in cursive of course)

-listening to your favorite music on headphones 24/7 h

-illegally downloading books in pdf on your e-book reader

-loving coffee, but drinking proper amount of water everyday, because yo know it’s good for your body. At this point - drinking coffee without caffeine, because you know it’s healthier.

-getting proper amount of sleep every night to wake up next morning and be 100% productive

-having studygram or bookgram
