Sansa and Alicent stans acting like people dislike them because they're feminine, when ninety percent of all Westeros women dress and act feminine, in fact it's a cultural and societal requirement expected of Westeros noblewomen. If the fandom has no problem with the rest of the traditionally feminine characters but hates Alicent and Sansa, then femininity isn't the problem here.

Also, and I can't stress this enough, not everybody in this fandom is constantly sorting female characters into "masculine" and "feminine" categories. It's incredibly misogynistic to do so and ignores that they're fleshed-out, complex characters. The majority of Dany, Arya, Cersei, Brienne, Rhaenyra, etc stans don't consider them to be masculine, that's just something their antis came up with to portray them as "lesser" female characters. When this fandom talks about "femininity" they mean it in a patriarchal context and, shockingly, there are some of us who can enjoy their characters outside of misogynistic standards. No one dislikes Alicent or Sansa for being feminine, because that isn't their only character trait (and only their "fans" think it is). Now if you want to talk about the traditional standards they hold as a byproduct of adhering to traditional feminity, that's another thing. But saying that people dislike Alicent's misogyny towards Rhaenyra or Sansa's classism towards Arya because they're "feminine" is just hilarious.

Honestly being a feminist is exhausting, what the hell are we even fighting for exactly? I dont care about being equal to males its not going to stop them from raping and harming us, i dont care about fighting for women why are we even fighting males anyways? I wanna live my life now not stressing about women who couldn't give two shits about themselves and other women and lil girls, I'm tired and I hate being a feminist, it is draining cause feminism is not my goal it is female separatism but I know it's not realistic cause women will never detach from males...its something I need to learn to accept.

If we're going to justify companies underpaying and underhiring women for potentially getting pregnant, well, women might get pregnant and take a year off for maternity leave but at least they won't kill themselves because they got stressed and wouldn't go to a therapist or because child porn was found on their computer, so actually I'd say men should be paid less and not given prestigious positions and lots of responsibilities. Just in case.

Listen, I don't ACTUALLY think I'm THAT smart, however I am the kind of quirky "surprises you with literary knowledge" type of smart where if I were a man I'd have a podcasting EMPIRE by now. There was this twitter thread of someone talking about Byrne She Hulk and doing like a really in depth critique explaining the issue with She Hulk being really into sexualizing herself as a fictional character with no agency and like half the replies were just “I get this but she sexualizes herself because shes confident and its her choice, so its feminist!” even though the OP literally addressed that argument. I think comic nerds need to get over Byrne She Hulk we all need to fucking move on

I was asking specifically about one post i linked where hes whining about the poor male victims and how women are so mean. I didn't see the initial post referenced. I do not want to comment on what I have not seen. People have pushed and pushed and pushed me to comment on this or that or other post he's made, and the more people do that, the more resistant and suspicious I'm going to get.

Maybe if this had started a different way, maybe if the very first time that man was brought to my attention it was a simple "what do you think of this?" about a particular post I would have checked it out and commented on it, or not, depending. But that's not what happened. And there's no way to backtrack and make it what happened.

I got into it with some scrote who compared feminists to Andrew Tate fans, he brought up being sexually assaulted by a woman for some unknown reason and I called him on his hypocrisy and misogyny. Some random then came to rant in my inbox about the supposed harassment of a completely different male. I made the mistake of answering that ask to say I had no idea what that person was talking about, and this shit hasn't stopped since.

A younger me might have gotten into it--I have years past joined in on things I didn't have all the information for. It's never worked out well. Ends up being a shitfest where I ask what the fuck I'm doing here, why did I waste all that energy in this, what good came out of it, etc.. So no, I'm not going to do that again if I can avoid it.
