A knock at Johnny's door had him sitting up at light speed.

"Oh Jesus, oh shit," Johnny muttered, scrambling to get out of bed without squishing the man on his left.

"Hmm?" Kuai Liang hummed, cracking open his eyes and then blinking owlishly as Johnny managed to do something that looked incredibly flexible to get over him and quickly make it to his closet, several things flying out before the sound of Johnny tripping and cursing loudly managed to rouse Hanzo as well.

"What?" Hanzo grunted, not liking waking up and finding the spot next to him empty, and also realizing that Johnny was  up and about. He did look slightly amused at how frazzled Johnny looked as he came out wearing a t-shirt with some cheesy logo on it and a pair of pants.

"Someone's at the door, I wasn't expecting anyone!" Johnny hissed.

Leaving the two bewildered, Johnny quickly made a beeline through his house to make it to the front door, another knock just ending as Johnny managed to throw open the door. Behind it were the Kombat Kids, who he quickly donned a smile for.

"Heeeeeyyyy, kids! What uh um... what brings you out so early?" Johnny asked, hoping that he did not look too nervous.

"Breakfast, we're starved!" Jacqui groaned.

"Uh... sure..."

Johnny reluctantly let them in, glancing around to see if Hanzo or Kuai Liang were up and about and glad to see that they were not. Not that he was at all ashamed that he was 'officially' dating the two, not in the least bit, hundred percent he would be singing the news to the heavens... but also that as part of it. Hanzo and Kuai Liang were private people. And as far as Johnny knew, the only people that knew about it were the three of them (of course), Cassie and he had an inkling that maaaybbee Frost knew. But he had not seen or heard Hanzo or Kuai Liang talk about it to others, and honestly the two had been together almost a full year before anyone found out about the two of them being a thing, so Johnny just figured that they liked to keep things private and wanted to keep them comfortable.

Thankfully also no comment to his slightly odd behavior as he went into the kitchen and started a breakfast for his champs, easily falling into the lull of cooking and the kids going back and forth in their usual ways of loving ribbing and light hearted teasing. Honestly, Johnny almost convinced himself that he was not going to start to having that awkward conversation with anyone--

"AH!" Takeda yelped, turning around to pout at a grinning Hanzo as he let Takeda's headband go after the teasing yank that had startled him. "Not funny, grandmaster... what are you even doing here?"

"Grandmaster Kuai Liang too?" Jacqui asked, fork hanging out of her mouth as indeed Kuai Liang joined them in the kitchen/dining room.

"Uh..." Johnny muttered.

"We stayed the night," Hanzo said simply, tussling Takeda's hair lovingly, before leaving him be, going instead over to the table to see what was left of the Kombat Kids' hoovering.

"Why'd you two stay the night?" Jin asked, snorting when Hanzo leaned over him to grab some of chopped up fruit in a bowl.

"Probably busy sucking face with one of your dads," Cassie said nonchalantly.

Johnny wheezed.

"Listen--"

"No, that is accurate," Kuai Liang snorted as he took out Johnny's rarely used teapot to make himself some.

"Very accurate," Hanzo said nonchalantly, Takeda looking torn between being purely shocked and delightfully scandalized.

Well shit, maybe he was worried over nothing. Johnny just casually leaned against the counter as the Kombat Kids (save Cassie) reacted with delighted shock at the news. He grinned as he caught the shameless smiles on Kuai Liang and Hanzo's faces. Ah, what a lucky guy he was.

1) who can outdrink the other? Johnny. None of them are bad drinkers, but Johnny has done more drinking in his life and can handle drinking better

2) who says “I love you” more? all three of them say it very frequently, but Johnny. he says is aloud the most in comparison to the other two, but they’re very good at physically showing Johnny that they love him

3) who has trouble sleeping alone? Hanzo. he likes having them nearby when they get together, and if they’re gone, he struggles to sleep much more

4) who swears more? Johnny, by far. he curses a lot more than the other two, but he tries his best to keep it tame around them

5) who does more of the housework? all three of them share housework responsibilities. if one of them needs a break, the other two step up so they can get their rest. besides, doing housework together is more fun than doing it alone!!

6) who forgets their anniversary? Hanzo. he can’t remember dates for shit, and Johnny and Kuai Liang always try to remind him ahead of time when their anniversary is so they can celebrate

7) who steals the duvet in their sleep? Johnny. sometimes he can get cold sleeping next to Kuai Liang

8) who keeps the other awake at night with their snoring? Hanzo occasionally snores, and Johnny sometimes talks in his sleep. Kuai Liang has grown used to it… sort of

9) who finds stray animals and begs the other to let them keep them? Johnny. he wants every dog that they encounter when they go out, and knowing that they don’t have pets, he wants Hanzo and Kuai Liang to have that joy

10) who usually makes dinner? Johnny and Hanzo share cooking responsibilities since Kuai Liang cannot cook whatsoever. Johnny always tries to include him in the preparations so they can spend that extra time together

11) who plays their music out loud? Johnny. he wants to see if Hanzo and Kuai Liang like his taste so he plays stuff aloud often

12) who hogs the bathroom? Hanzo. he struggles to get his bun the way he likes it the first time. Johnny and Kuai Liang have started to help him out

13) who gives the most compliments? Johnny. he is super vocal with how he feels, and therefore he will shower the other two in endless compliments that still seem to get them flustered. he’s really good with his words

15) who isn’t afraid to embarrass the other in public? Johnny, but on accident. sometimes he’ll get recognized by a fan or he’ll do something in public that embarrasses them. I honestly don’t think that he would ever purposefully embarrass them

16) who gives the other cringeworthy pet names? Johnny. dear god. he chooses the most ridiculous, out there names possible, just to see their reaction and hear them laugh. they’ve gotten used to him suddenly calling them a silly name

17) who fusses over takes care of the other when they get sick? they are all bad to fuss over one another. all of them deeply care about each other, and all of them hate, more than anything, to see them feeling sick. they all try their best to help them feel better

18) who finds it impossible to stay angry at the other for long? I don’t think they ever truly get mad at one another? they’re really good at communicating their feelings, so they very, very rarely get mad at one another. they all hate being mad anyways so they try hard to prevent it

19) who clings to the other for comfort when they’re sad or scared? Johnny. he is typically pretty good at hiding his sadness or fear, but sometimes he just can’t hold it back and will grab one of their hands to comfort himself. Hanzo and Kuai Liang are always there to comfort him to the best of their abilities

20) who is more ‘physically passionate’? (hugs, kisses, or maybe more…) Johnny. the other two are also physically passionate with one another, but Johnny takes the cake with the number of kisses that he gives. every day, several times a day, he will give them kisses to show how grateful he is for them. what a sap

Kuai Liang rubbed his fingers along Johnny's temple, fingers musing through the greyed blonde there. Johnny sighed from the gentle touch, leaning into it until Johnny was pressed forehead to forehead with him. He smiled at the closeness, especially since he could see the charming creases at the corner of his eyes, around his nose and mouth. The signs of his age, his life, Kuai Liang loved each little crease with all of his heart.

"You lookin' at my age lines again?" Johnny chuckled, eyes cracking open and grinning at him.

"Hmm, much to admire about them," Kuai Liang smiled.

"Quite so," Hanzo hummed behind them, leaning against Johnny's back and resting his head on Johnny's shoulder. "You make a very handsome older man."

"Not all of us can age like fine wine you two," Johnny chuckled.

"You did too," Kuai Liang quickly said, grinning when Johnny pinked. Kuai Liang and Hanzo always found Johnny's bashfulness in response to being flirted with endearing, given that he was a shameless flirt himself. It was cute to fluster him and give him back some verbal love and affection that he doled out so freely between the two of them.

"Ah come on guys, I barely survived the last time you two decided to make a contest out of trying to make me blush," Johnny protested through a grin.

Kuai Liang and Hanzo just shared a mischievous grin before Kuai Liang moved his hands from the man's temples to his jaw, tenderly cupping it and moving the man's head up to start tenderly kissing him, turning to Johnny into a pile of goo underneath his lips and hands. Hanzo also helped, moving his head to kiss the back of Johnny's neck and ears tenderly and sweetly, furthering Johnny's goo like state until they had to shuffle closer to keep him from slouching too far.

When Kuai Liang and Johnny parted for breath, Kuai Liang was quite happy to see the man's cheeks a delightful pink color and the man looking quite blissed out.

"Hmm, yes, a very handsome man."

And it was here that the pink turned to red and Johnny went from blissful to embarrassment.

"Incredibly," Hanzo rumbled in Johnny's ear and making the blush a deep crimson to his ear tips.

"You two are fighting dirty," Johnny managed out.

"We can be far worse," Hanzo said.

"Very worse," Kuai Liang agreed.

"HELP!" Johnny yelped, laughing when Kuai Liang and Hanzo smushed him even more between the two of them, laughing as well.

Hanzo was enjoying a good book, and also a good view.

Sleep eluded him. Where other times he would be kept awake by nightmares, aniexties or other such troubling emotions, this time he simply could not sleep. But he was not quite awake enough to get up and walk around and he was reluctant to move away from his sleeping partners, so he took Johnny's phone and was reading something with the screen down low.

Sometimes he would look over and just admire the sight of Johnny and Kuai Liang deeply asleep. Kuai Liang sleeping on his side, face relaxed and hair slightly mused. Johnny plastered against his back, face partially hidden behind Kuai Liang's head and one arm draped over Kuai Liang. The soothing sound of their calm and easy breathing. The gentle and sleepy warmth of their combined bodies that seeped towards him. The ease and relaxation of their faces. Occasionally, Kuai Liang murmured something in his native tongue.

Hanzo smiled, to preoccupied to read, instead focused on the sight of his lovers. Figuring that he probably needed to stop failing at reading, Hanzo put Johnny's phone back before turning on his side to face the two men. He smiled fondly before reaching over to gently brush some of Kuai Liang's hair out of his face and back into place. Kuai Liang hummed in his sleep, leaning into the touch before Hanzo reluctantly pulled his fingers away, letting Kuai Liang settle again. When Kuai Liang settled back down again, Hanzo reached out behind him and gently ran his fingers through Johnny's hair, Johnny sighing happily in his sleep from the touch, leaning back into the touch subconsciously. When he pulled his hand away, Johnny huffed before settling back into sleep.

Apparently his gentle touches managed to stir one of them, Kuai Liang's eyes fluttering open, dark brown and sleepy eyes settling on Hanzo's even in the dark.

"Hmm, treasure?" Kuai Liang croaked out.

"Apologies, couldn't sleep," Hanzo admitted quietly, reaching out and more boldly finger-combing sense back into Kuai Liang's hair. Kuai Liang hummed happily, leaning into the touch, eyes closing in contentment.

"Are you well?"

"Very. I am not troubled, sleep simply eludes me," Hanzo explained, moving his hand to tenderly cup Kuai Liang's face. "And I am greatly enjoying watching you two sleep."

"Glad to be of help, regardless," Kuai Liang sleepily chuckled, leaning into Hanzo's hand.

"Always happy to help, hot stuff," Johnny even more sleepily slurred out behind Kuai Liang.

Hanzo started for a moment, before sheepishly chuckling.

"Apologies. Mayhaps we also should go back to bed."

"Then get over here and cuddle, dearest one," Kuai Liang smiled.

"You heard the man."

Smiling happily, Hanzo scooted forward, pressing against Kuai Liang. Johnny shifted his arm until it was draped over both of them, hand settling on his back. And cuddled up together, Hanzo settled back into bed.

Frost turned on her heels, seeing Kuai Liang dipping Johnny into a kiss. Mister Cage looked surprised, which was... weird. Normally when the two old dudes were sucking face, Mister Cage tended to be the one to start it, especially if it was public like it was now, out in the training grounds. She watched for a moment, wondering what was going on, before shrugging it off and going about her training.

Kuai Liang lifted a very flustered and very happy about the strange turn of event Johnny, red to his ears. The grandmaster turned his attention to his student, glad to see her back to his training, sighing, before sheepishly addressing Johnny.

“Apologies for that...” Kuai Liang hummed.

“I mean... feel free to shut me up that way anytime baby,” Johnny grinned, winking and getting Kuai Liang to snort. “But uh... why?”

“My apologies but... I really do not want my students to make a fuss over that yearly event,” Kuai Liang explained. “They have already threatened to throw a rather large party if they ever found out what day it was. And I am not... comfortable with that. I do not enjoy people making a fuss over me, even if it is with heart and good intentions.”

“Oooh, sorry baby,” Johnny grinned. “... Hey, does that mean you don’t want me to steal you away for an evening of being properly spoiled by Hot Sauce and me?”

“Oh, I am perfectly okay with that,” Kuai Liang said, perking up at the thought of a special evening with Hanzo and Johnny. “I just do not want my students making a fuss--”

“About what?” Frost asked, having returned.

“NOTHING!” Kuai Liang shouted, giving Johnny a push and following after him.

Frost narrowed her eyes, but watching the two go regardless. Of course she knew it was the grandmaster’s birthday but... nah, he could have this one. Next year though, he was absolutely going to get a very loud, very large and obnoxious party though. Because she was his little brat pseudo adopted kid and she had to give her pseudo adopted dad shit, lovingly.

“Have fun you two!” She called, grinning slyly.

Johnny, Kuai Liang and Hanzo watch over Jacqui and Takeda’s daughter

“Guess who’s on grandkid babysittin’ duty!”

Hanzo and Kuai Liang looked up to Johnny as he loudly entered the room, one arm pushing open the door and the other holding a familiar four year old girl. They of course beamed at the sight of her, especially as Johnny set her down and she came running over to them. Hanzo eagerly welcomed her into a hug that she threw herself into at him.

“We are!” Johnny said, answering himself. 

“Are we truly or have you absconded with Takeda and Jacqueline’s daughter again?” Kuai Liang snorted.

“Don’t go bringing your logic and common sense into this,” Johnny laughed, “But yes, this time for real. Sons needed the duo on a short mission and I volunteered to look after her for a few hours. And I’d figured she hasn’t seen you two in a hot minute. So why not?”

Ever happy to be all together, and even happier to look after the first of the next generation after the kombat kids, Johnny, Kuai Liang and Hanzo went about an afternoon while looking after the little one. Said little one, despite her usual energy, seemed slightly out of sorts and just wanted to be in someone’s lap and nap.

“Apparently, they took someone to go play in Outworld and that certain someone had a lot of fun chasing two certain Tarkatans,” Johnny grinned as the little one sluggishly got comfortable in Hanzo’s lap before leaning her little head against his chest and closing her eyes. “Got good taste in napping spots, huh hun?”

Hanzo just snorted, moving to properly hold her to him so that she was comfortable and would take in some of his ever toasty body heat.

“What a precious youngling she is,” Kuai Liang beamed, reaching over to gentle drag a finger along a plump cheek.

“And there isn’t any better sight than Hanzo smiling as he holds a baby, huh?”

“Of course.”

Hanzo just pinked and gave them a look, making the other two snicker before they went about quietly enjoying some time together as Jacqui and Takeda’s baby girl slept peacefully away.

It’s been cold out lately and that means I’ve been constantly thinking about the pure bliss of having a pyromancer boyfriend :,)
