What a weird eel dog! Wanted to draw emmet's starter. Inspired by the kind folks in my inbox, which I’ll be responding to down here

@holly-rose12 Ngl I'm gonna slow down on posting so I don't burn myself out, but yeah this hyperfixation's got a good grip on my soul. I STILL have so many ideas for the other members of the submas team, and I STILL really want to draw more Elesa too. Ah, the tunnels keep getting deeper...

Comic 1:

First panel, Ingo and Akari are standing together. Someone off-screen asks “oh, is that your dad?”. Akari has an awkward smile and replies “oh, no no. he’s my...” There’s a long pause as she looks at Ingo. He’s leaving it up to her. She finishes, “He’s my coworker... friend... guy.” In smaller font, she continues “yea. that.” Comic 2: A dramatic panel of Volo, looking pissed off, shouting “who are you to interfere?!!” Ingo tugs the brim of his cap lower. The upper half of his face is in shadow, while his eyes stand out. He looks threatening but has his expression is his characteristic neutral-frown, and he says “...I’m her coworker friend guy.”. In the final panel, Machoke is throwing an incredible amount of punches, a reference to Star Platinum from Jojo. Ingo is pointing with one hand, his battle pose. The background text reads, “What does that even mean??” Volo is experiencing off-screen violence.

Comic 3: The comic is titled “Reunion”. In the first panel, Ingo shows off Akari, with a faint smile on his face. She is labelled “best girl (assigned by god)”. He says, “Emmet, this is Akari, my coworker. She’s the reason I was able to return to this station.” In smaller font, Akari comments to herself, “ooh... so this is the man in white.”

In the second panel, in smaller font Ingo notes “I think I remember now...” He says, “Akari, this is Emmet. He's also my coworker.” Coworker is underlined. Emmet is crying in the background, looking confused, conflicted, distressed, and happy. He says, “Brother...?” In the final panel, we see a framed photograph of all three together. Underneath are the words, Employee of the Month. Akari is dressed as a depot agent, and she and Ingo pose with peace signs. Emmet is red faced from crying, but he’s smiling widely. He looks happy.

Sneasler likes making sure Ingo and Akari are just as clean as her kits, even if there are consequences like human hairballs. Ingo’s warned her not to do that as Akari’s hair is much longer than a sneasel’s or even his, but she doesn’t listen and does it anyways.

So I suddenly felt inspired to draw some more Ingo and Emmet stuff. But not the typical somewhat story driven angst comics I did previously. More like.. a “day-in-the-life-of” type deal. Like my Mario and Luigi content. I also wanted to draw some more expressions with the boys that weren’t twisted faces of tears and agony-

I also wanted to try to stay away from the hard angst this time. And just draw something that is overall pleasant. As I was sketching some ideas I realized that I never drew Elesa! Her fanon friendship with the twins seemed really fun to draw so I threw her in there too XD

I know nothing of Elesa’s canon personality so I just made it up entirely-- <XD I pictured her being the mom friend who very dearly loves her two very tall sons.

As for the last bit. Uhg, well I tried XD I can never seem to fully separate myself from angsty stuff. But at least it was light and it had a funny twist at the end! :DD

I know it's been kinda long but decided to redesign my fav girl Irida from that one tloz au [THIS] and boy did my art improve since then (or that's the impression I get, anyways)

Uhh well hes a guy :) idk uh i dont have much BUT

So hes ingo and emmets more distant cousin from johto so the three of them didnt really see each other often save for the occasional family reunion

He knows jack shit about trains but hes doin his best

So uh this whole like. Idk third subway boss thing takes place in a hypothetical black3/white3 (aka the good future we deserve)

So depending on which version he either runs the triple & super triple train (b3) OR the rotation/super rotation train (w3)

AND!!! After you beat him on the normal triple or rotation train he has a chance to battle alongside ingo or emmet in the multi trains (hes even got special dialogue with them!!)

Uh i dont have many like physical details buttt

His facial expression is more neutral compared to ingos frown and emmets smile, he does show emotions more than them, though his smiles/frowns are small and may be hard to notice

His uniform is gray. I hope i dont need to explain aheemheem

His team would be a mix of johto pokemon and unova pokemon on the super trains

Elesa’s feeling homesick. Emmet, bless his heart, tries to help by infodumping while Ingo frantically runs off to find water (crying is a very dehydrating experience).
