So I've recently moved from the last dungeon to this lodge; my homunculus is enjoying the new room and loves to pace back and forth all day! Since it kept stealing my amulet, I decided to toss it into the cauldron last time I reformed it. The results were promising on the intelligence side! But, now it taken to causing mischief upon my neighbors. Also, please excuse the shakes. My recent delving into my Deadlokinomcon has left me rather rattled.

do you use refference videos for the more flowy-sporadic bits of animation in some epic animatics? (push/pulling in there are other ways, odysseus getting his ass beat in ruthlessness, ragdoll ody in the thunder bringer wip) it sort of reminds me of some rotoscoping sketch animations or is it you just pose-by-pose animating it

Those shots are rotoscoping! I record myself or my friend if she's available, and then I just go all out. I have some posts here where I posted the work in porgress of those rotoscoped, when it's just a blank character.

Hope you enjoy this lil animation that took a few days to make! It was a LOT of fun animating Leo dancing to a love song. XD The music isn't mine, it's called "Love You Like the Movies" by Anthem Lights. :) I just danced, edited, and animated. ~^^~

You can see Frank Frazetta himself observing in the background. The resulting onscreen characters were enhanced by animators -- akin to what the Peanuts specials termed "graphic blandishment" -- but Randy Norton in the foreground as the barbarian Larn is physically quite close to the outcome.
