Just figured out how to edit my AO3 skin to hide so many of the Tommy bashing fics just in time for the pre-season nonsense - y'all Bucktommy haters can keep posting your awful character assassination fics in whatever ship tag you want, I will be over here simply not seeing them!

ETA: I do have to say that it doesn't currently work with the 'Not Tommy Kinard Friendly' tag, which I'm trying to figure out, but any works tagged with Tommy Kinard Bashing simply do not show up while I'm signed in, which is a huge weight off my mind! (also you can edit it for every individual character bashing tag, which is great!)

On shuake & ao3 tagging

'Akechi Goro/Persona 5 Protagonist' is the canonical "umbrella" tag for the ship.

Any worked tagged with an assigned synonym tag, such as, 'Crow/Joker', will loop back around to the 'Akechi Goro/Persona 5 Protagonist' tag when clicked.

The umbrella tag also has specified subtags:

A fic tagged just 'Akechi Goro/Amamiya Ren' will still show up under the 'Akechi Goro/Persona 5 Protagonist' search, but it can also be searched for independently, like all the other subtags.

tldr; Authors don't need to tag 'Akechi Goro/Persona 5 Protagonist' and 'Akechi Goro/Amamiya Ren' and 'Akechi Goro/Kurusu Akira' for correct classification/reach. The umbrella tag does that for you.

The 'x/Amamiya Ren' and 'x/Kurusu Akira' tags are only useful to specify which name is being used for the protag.
