9. Do they give tough love or gentle love most often? Which do they prefer to receive?

Milo is not a tough love kind of guy at ALLLLLL. He grew up in a really close-knit household and community; grandparents and parents and siblings and cousins and aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews and that's just his HOUSE. He is well accustomed to and comfortable with that kind of easy sweet caring for people that made him a very good caretaker of the little ones, and he learned it because he experienced it. 'Tough love' doesn't really make sense to him.

10. What fact do they excitedly tell everyone about at every opportunity?

I'm remembering now that I think I've rbbed this game before and got this one for Milo, and I think I said then that he would share the astronomical knowledge that he learns from his childhood friend Sumaya. She's big on it, he just likes the stories that come with the constellations, but they swap them back and forth until they're both well-versed in both fact and fiction. Going from student to teacher in that sense, then, lets him not only test what he retains from her, but share it with someone who otherwise might not know it, as she did with him. Especially after they've parted, though it's a bit more mournful, then.

11. If someone was impersonating them, what would friends / family ask or do to tell the difference?

Trick question! Milo spends all his time in his hometown doing an expert mix of hiding who he is and being as genuine as he can that it would be nearly impossible for anyone to tell the difference! Milo wears his heart on his sleeve which would make it incredibly easy for anyone who's watched him for a bit of time to impersonate him except for when he doesn't, at which time he conceals it so well nothing appears amiss! If you want an actual answer though, it would have to be a 'does the imposter lack memories' situation. Specific moments that Milo would remember, but nobody else would really know, that sort of thing. Sumaya could ask where they went in the mountains to stargaze, his grandmother could ask what she made for him on his 14th birthday, Reiji could ask where they met, Suna could ask what's the first conversation they had that didn't need a translator. That sort of thing. He's sentimental like that, he'd remember.

12. What’s something that makes them laugh every single time? Be specific!

Physical comedy. Part of the reason he's so good with kids is because he's got their sense of humor. In that same vein, he's easy to get with stuff just being unexpected. It's the one way he's genuinely a little childish, i cant think of a good example, but he would get a kick out of those old slapstick comedies, you understand.

13. When do they fake a smile? How often?

this is another that i remember answering before. that is, often. because friends and family know a milo that smiles easy and often, and so when he doesnt particularly feel like it, he must still do so- easy and often- to obviate anyone peeling back the layers.

14. How do they put out a candle?

This is probably supposed to be a more complex question but man, just blow it out. He's not some fancy bitch with those cap things and he's not cool enough to do the thing where u lick your fingers and pinch it out. Just blow out the flame, bro. easiest solution

15. What’s the most obvious difference between their behavior at home, at work, at school, with friends, and when they’re alone?

He holds a quieter sort of air when he's alone. It's allowed to fall when unwatched and when it does it often falls far. He simultaneously hates being alone and needs it desperately: he prefers company for... the company but also because it keeps him occupied. He's a man who doesn't enjoy being alone with his thoughts. But he also needs that, because it's the only time he's allowed to slip. It's a tricky push-pull that doesn't have an easy answer. Let me actually answer the question: around people, doesn't really matter who, he is brighter, cleaner, easier. This only gets messier when he's alone, or in very, very rare circumstances that he avoids at all costs.

16. What kinds of people do they have arguments with in their head?

inch resting. He's not the type to wish an argument, you know? He doesn't find a ton of vindication in like... tearing someone down like i think we do when we imagine arguments. The thing about milo is that he never feels wronged by others, he always has some 'oh well they MEAN well', and that's assuming he doesn't just think he's in the wrong. The things he believes in enough to argue about are never things he thinks about until they come up.

17. What do they notice first in the mirror versus what most people first notice looking at them?

teehee I've answered this one b4 too. he sees a mask slipping, a scar, exhaustion in a way sleep can't fix. others, though, they just see the smile he makes sure reaches his eyes.

18. Who do they love truly, 100% unconditionally (if anyone)?

God, everyone. I don't think he knows any other way. He loves people quickly and easily and once you get there it's stuck there forever. No amount of time apart or festering wounds will change that. Anything and everything is forgivable, because they're good people, really. He believes very completely in the inherent good of people, has only ever encountered very, very few that this belief wavers in.

19. What would they do if stuck in a room with the person they’ve been avoiding?

Ah. It would be a reluctant and yet long-awaited reunion. Truly he's avoided the whole town- but for succintness this could be either sumaya or his grandmother. the former, a longtime friend, they knew each other better than anyone, and something changed when the mask slipped. the latter, he looked up to all his life, learned from, grew with, and left before he could really see the consequences of his actions. so to be back with either one would be... the consequences, i guess. hes been missing them as long as he's been avoiding them :)

Shattered love stories make my hidden heart and soul bleed wildly.

As an empath with a wicked mind and mouth, I still find it curious when some people come and share their stories that revolve around being cheated on and cheating. And by share, I mean too much TMI that is not only cringe, but, ego-crushing and heart-wrenching, too. There'd be times when I know that even my rare super tight empath hugs will never ease their pains, anguish and self-loathing. Ganun kalala.

While XXs are the usual suspects and prospects of being "kabit," I guess hearing XYs bare their souls about this matter is really a different ballgame. 'Di pa rin ako sanay kasi nga, it's a cheater man's world, after all naman talaga e. LOL. Must be because some XY who are part of my smaller inner circle have had serious cases in this department, too. That said, let me try sharing some answers to questions that have been asked to me by so-called victims of love: XX and XY edition. Let me disclose din na I am not part of any third party kahit kailan, kahit saan at kahit sino. It makes me cringe kasi talaga as in. It's not part of my ecosystem mula noon hanggang mamatay ako. Also, simple lang naman ang view ko sa love: 'Pag akin, akin lang pero 'wag clingy. Saktong cling wrap lang. Markahan lang namin isa't isa. Period. 'Yung alam ko at alam niya na kahit we're not home, we're each other's home. As an old soul ako kahit walang bakas ng ganun. LOL. Okay.

Masaya ako 'pag kasama siya. Ngayon ko lang 'to naramdaman pero alam ko namang mali. Mali bang maging masaya? Hindi mali maging masaya. Emotion 'yan pero ang tanong: what comes after 'yung masayang pagsasama n'yo? Paranoia? Mocking yourself? Rationalizing shit? Masaya ka sa idea na limited time kasi, limited offer. Scarcity is sexy pero 'di naman sa ganitong takada, pakiusap.

Alam kong mali pero bakit 'di niya ako pinipili? Still falls under the human nature na 'pag hindi mapasayo, may certain level ng excitement, ng challenge, ng thrill. Karma ba 'to? I don't think this would fall under karma because all is fair and unfair in love and hate naman. Bad things happen to good people. Good things happen to bad people. People are both good and bad, parang Wicked lang 'yan. Lahat may Elphaba and Glinda. Are people born wicked? No. People are made of good and bad choices. Sarte pasok.

Bakit 'di ako puwedeng sumaya? Happiness is an emotion. Sadness is an emotion. Love is an action. Love is a choice. Doon ka sa pipiliin mo lagi't lagi AT pipiliin ka lagi't lagi. Be with someone who you outgive and i-outgive ka rin. Period. Doon ka sa bubuo ng 100% partners in crime araw-araw. Doon sa 100% na sa'yo at 100% ka ring kanya. Baseline 'yan. Non-negotiable 'yan.

Kaya ko pa bang makahanap ng ganitong vibe? Iba talaga e. It's a solid yes. Ano bang meron sa kabitan kagulo na vibe? Exciting, hindi boring. Challenging kasi ng limited time, limited offer. May chances of getting caught so that means may inclination ka sa something kinda feisty, baseline. Or gusto mo ng thrill. So hanapin mo 'yan. Naniniwala kasi akong vibe is just a matter of being mutually weird together and apart. 'Di ko sure kung idealistic ba ako o baka dahil ito sa very graphic-fantastic first meet-cute ko nung Prep. Hahahahaha. Parang nadala ko na siya sa flow ko be it an XX or XY get-to-know stage. 'Di 'yan about sa dami ng commonalities or differences niyo. Bakit parang gusto ko siyang iligtas sa shit niya? Never been married, never been kissed. CHOZ sa kissed. Hahahahaha. Pero, based on the TMI married couples stories ay married life is not a joke. Rewarding siya rarely kasi nga people marry for fucked up reasons like convenience, not wanting to grow old alone kahit lonely sila sa kasama nila, fame, fortune, having kids because pressured ng social constructs atbp. Ayoko na i-exhaust ang list kasi we don't have time for that.

So, ang sinasabi ko: There's always two people who have faults sa bawat broken marriage vows. Nood ka ng The World of the Married and Marriage Story sa Netflix o sa kung saan mang platform mo gusto para free. I watched both with dad kasi nga bonding namin manood ng Netflix 'pag may time. Sabi ng tatay ko: Iba na talaga generation ngayon. Grabe ang sakitan. Ano 'yan? Nakakasakit ng dibdib, anak. Hahahahahaha.

Bottomline: Iligtas mo muna sarili mo because this shit of yours is a sunken ship. Period. Kung gusto mo talagang iligtas 'yung isa, tigilan mo na siya kasi 'di mo siya "mahal" kung everytime magkasama kayo e, a demerit sa legal husband or wife niya. Hintayin mo na lang mag-divorce or mag-annulment sila. Tapos. 'Di ba, willing to wait ka naman? Patunayan mo ngayon na ngayon na 'yan.

'Di ba ako worthy mahalin? Bakit 'di ako 'yung pinipili at the end of the day or night? Simple lang sagot. Lagot. i sowed a little purse recently and ive been using it everywhere since it's perfect to take just my phone and wallet. bad part is i broke my sowing machine's needle doing it BUT it ended up looking pretty good. i stayed at my cousin's last weekend and i had a lovely time! i went with her to take her measurements for her wedding dress 💕 then we went out to eat and walk through the city with some friends and we ate a lot of food. i slept on the couch so her cats walked all over me all night and now im all bruised 😂

sunrises. there is something so optimistic and hopeful and beautiful about watching the sunrise at dawn and being thankful for being alive to see another day. tine makes me feel like watching a sunrise. he embodies the sun for me. he makes me feel so warm and good and happy. just like how the sun was made to be a source that sustains, he sustains and nourishes my heart and soul.

nature. the sounds that nature produces, like the water and the waves and drinking from a waterfall and the birds and the smell of wet grass after rainfall and dew drops. like, if tine had a smell, he'd smell like nature in its purest, untouched, divine form. flowers, bc of how they blossom from a small seed into something so majestically beautiful with time and effort and patience (bc i so badly wanna see him in a flower crown bc my boy deserves to be adorned) and that cool gentle breeze you feel on a hot summer day that gives you a moment of escape from the scorching heat.

if i could condense down tine into a colour, he'd be the soft peachy colour you get. neither too orange nor too pink. somewhere in between. that might be bc peaches are my favourite fruit though. its the sweetness and the soft flesh.

small happinesses. like seeing a baby laugh and giggle or a child beam because of their innocence when they learn about something new about the world or a lover smiling shyly because their lover remembers something about them like their favourite song. those small moments of happiness that you want to treasure for a lifetime.

your mum's home cooked food. i cant explain it, but there's something that overcomes you when you smell your mum's home cooked food and eat it. a familiarity. a sense of knowing your origin and that you have always belonged here.

a much needed hug. no words are needed here, but you know when someone just has the ability to read you so well and know you need a hug and comes and gives you that? yeah. those small acts of kindness.

words like habib (beloved), and jaan (that soul or spirit or energy inside you that is keeping you alive), and sukoon (peace from within) and qurat ul ayn (the coolness of the eyes) and nazaaqat (a tenderness and elegance).

when you climb on top of a mountain and you scream into the bewilderness, and you hear the echo of it over and over again. and its nothing but the sound of that. its freeing.

you know when you go to a city, especially the old town part of it, and you go to a market or souk or bazaar and you see just how full of life and colour it is? the hustle and bustle? just how alive your senses become? the sounds and what you see and the smell and the different textures and the assortment of food and snacks and drinks they offer? that.
