Ooo sumiye would probably need a support item, it can be dangerous for her to bring out her switch into battle since it could get damaged and she would get "hurt".

Could she use a support item that's basically just a small cube with the games info inside of it? Its just smaller and more durable then a regular console, nothing that really adds to her quirk but it keeps her safe

She could use that support item, even as a hero! Gadgets are fragile after all, and she needs as many power-ups as she can get to fight villains and save citizens.

Consider adding it to her official costume, like Aoyama. Approved!

Oh I'd like to add on this, Sumiye has a Hatsune Miku power up...

AKA, Ikuto can just be hanging out in the common area, and the see Hatsune Miku out of the nowhere like it's nothing

I WISH I had a reaction image for him literally whipping his head around when he sees sumi powered up as HATSUNE FREAKING MIKU in the middle of the common room, like she's really just chilling like that he would be so jealous (not that he'd want to cosplay miku or anything he's just jealous she could do something so cool... unless?)

Being forced into ua by parents gang! She thinks Sumi is cute! I imagine they have lengthy discussions on the best hair dye brands… also shopping buddies! There is nothing Hina loves more than spending money. Hina would definitely mess with Sumi though… be on the lookout for anyone trying to find your secrets.

"Yeah... They do look cool. You've been through a lot and you're stronger for it, the scars really show that. I'm really glad you made it out in one piece... well, mostly one piece."

He's glad sumiye is being optimistic about it, & as much as he feels bad about her being partially deaf & blind in one eye there isn't anything he can do about it, so he wants her to know she looks cool as hell & should wear her scars with pride. He's so thankful that she's okay & I'd like to note that the first time he sees her after they get her out of the school's tech he would definately run up & hug her (something very out of character for him), he would also probably try to get her to pull a rin on aito before he realizes she's blind in one eye just to mess with him

The bell rang & everyone was putting their work away in their bags & filing out of the classroom. Miss Me sensei called over another student, as she usually had something she wanted to talk about, being a very invested & involved teacher. Hoshizawa walked over & set his chin on top of Ikuto's head while he put his notebook in his bag, which wasn't a terribly uncommon occurance, & was one of the regular reminders of how short he was.

They eventually got their things put away & walked out of the classroom together. Not even a few steps out of the door Ikuto heard his name called from the direction of 1-Y. He turned to see Sumiye hurrying towards him, smiling, seemingly with something to tell him.

He turned quickly to look at Hoshizawa. "Um, I'll catch up with you in a bit." he said, to which Hoshizawa responded with just a nod & a smile, continuing down the hallway heading to the dorms.

Ikuto turned back to see Sumiye with a wide grin on her face. "I got you something!" she said, chearfully, almost shouting.

Ikuto's eyes grew wide as she pulled out of her bag a little stuffed korok from his favorite Legend of Zelda game, which he had talked Sumiye's ear off about earlier that week.

"Oh, gosh." he said, surprised. "H-how much did this cost?" he ask, feeling somewhat guilty for having had money spent on him.

Sumiye waved her hand in the air, dismissively. "Don't worry about it. It's a gift, you aren't supposed to ask that." she said, handing him the plushie. "I remember you mentioned you really liked these little guys so I got you one!"

He hesitantly took the plushie out of her hand, still very surprised by the gesture. "Gosh, this is... really sweet, you didn't have to."

"I know, but I wanted to." she said with a big smile.

Ikuto couldn't help but smile too, looking down at the soft plushie & then back up at Sumiye. He didn't know her that well but when they had hung out she seemed so happy to listen to him, & now this gift on top of it, it was almost too much. He hesitated for a moment before reaching out to give her a hug. She was a bit startled for a moment but then sqeezed him tightly before letting go.

"Thank you, it's really nice." he said, his head hanging a bit, embarrassed. "I'll take good care of it." He smiled, already planning on setting it on his bed near his pillow.

She flashed another toothy grin. "I'm glad you like it. We should hang out tomorrow at lunch if you're free."

"Uh, sure, yeah, that sounds great." he stammered out, still smiling.

"Great! I'll see you tomorrow." she said, turning on her heals & waving a quick goodbye before hurrying back to the friends that were still waiting for her in front of Sato sensei's classroom.

"Yeah, see you later!" he said, giving a small wave as he watched her run back to them.

He looked down at the little stuffed korok & smiled, rubbing the soft felt with his thumb as he turned to walk back towards the dorms. Yep, this guy was definately going on his bed.

Ooo I think that'd be neat!! In return for the gifts, mermaid sumiye could tell ikuto where alot of mermaids live!! ( Aswell as the usual treasure )

YESSS MERFRIEND AQUIRED, he is now going to show up at these locations & be a complete nuisance, as well as ask sumi a million questions about what it's like to be a merperson & live under water & all that

👀👀👀 ayume's thoughts on sumiye??

- her original impression wasn't the best in all honesty. sort of "oh god a gyaru I'm going to get bullied again aren't i"

-they were probably pretty antisocial at first, trying to avoid interacting with her.

-but eventually she'd mellow out after hearing good things about sumiye.

-being on the back row means you're more likely to receive candy anyway, but sumi would get a bit more, ayume feels kinda guilty about ignoring her.

-tall gang tall gang tall gan-

-how is her hair that fluffy. Is it full of secrets.

- occasionally ayume wonders what 'powerups' sumi would get out of certain games. Maybe they'll bring some old cartridges to UA to at least ask.

-not her favourite genre, but she does listen to their music from time to time. It's definitely impressive.

You know sumiye will appreciate every second ikuto spends with her while she's recovering.

When ikuto just ran up to her and hugged her when he saw her for the first time since the incident, it ment alot to her. She won't say anything, but it did mean alot

Sumiye's opinion on ikuto is that he seems very private about the things he likes, but she can tell it's because of anxieties. She realised this and now is going to try and get him to share his interests! She's ready to listen to all his ramblings about his favourite things, and she'll make sure to ask questions about it that would definitely got him to talk about it more!

Once she befriends ikuto, she probably has been told all of Zelda's lore, and she loved listening to it! Since Sumi knows alot of his interests now, she's gonna get him so much merch for it

sumi is so sweet I adore her, he would love someone engaging in his interests & actually making him feel like they want to hear his rambling, he doesn't get to often

he would also love to hear about sumi's interests & all the things she's invested in! he wants to return the favor & loves hearing about the things his friends are passionate about, also if she buys him merch he will cry (on the inside) that would be so sweet
