i think it'd be really cool if the Erins pulled a bristlefrost on moonpaw HEAR ME OUT okay so this is going to go along with the "ginger tabby is moonpaw's dead sibling" theory even if i don't 100% subscribe to it. BUT stay w/ me here the moonpool is threatened by twolegs, right? so, what if to save the moonpool, Moonpaw throws herself into the pool, which separates her from her sibling. her sibling is able to swim to the surface, but moonpaw drowns, thus taking her to StarClan it's already been shown StarClan can interact w/ the living world, like striking lighting and killing Mudclaw with a fucking tree, so what if Moonpaw goes to residents of StarClan, and convinces them to strike a tree into falling and blocking the twolegs path/crushing their equipment, thus saving the moonpool and her sibling meanwhile, is telling cats about this absurd plan and telling them to get the hell out of the way just in case it works. nobody wants to listen to them at first bc yk this tabby just appeared out of nowhere, but then Bay and Thift (sob) step forward like "Alderheart thought Thrift/I was pregnant with two, but she/I only gave birth to one." "yes mother and father it is i. your now dead daughter ate me in the womb" - something the Erins would do (see DOTC shenanigans) and they believe her because yeah, the Erins would do that. cats move out of the way, and BAM, the tree comes crashing down, saving the moonpool. maybe a leaf floats into the moonpool and the ginger sibling can see Moonpaw in the reflection, along with other ranks of StarClan, looking satisfied or something (this could possibly happen in the last book of changing skies)

since the ginger sibling was never really born, to celebrate, Bay and Thrift give them a warrior name. someone already had a kit named Sun- but we already have three -whisker names in ThunderClan throw a sun in there. "How do you like the name Sun?" "hell yeah" and Squilf gives them a warrior name because they've proven that they have what it takes or something. "From this day forward, you will be known as..." Name ideas: Sunsong - For being happy or something idk Suncloud - For rising through the clouds (coming back from the dead) like the sun Sunsky - Changing Skies? Hello?? The moon has sunk and in her place, the sun rose?? THE SKY LITERALLY CHANGING Sunwish - Tbh we just haven't really used this suffix a lot Sunflight - I just think it sounds neat... And they decide to give Moonpaw her warrior name too bc ofc she's worked hard throughout her apprenticeship and it all climatized in death + Bay and Thrift as loving doting parents get sad that the daughter they raised died Moonpeak - For PEAKING Moonstep - For walking among StarClan ig Moonshine - You're probably as tired as this suffix as I am, but maybe it's to always shine (like the moon) and guide the way Moonpuddle - A smaller version of the Moonpool. Kinda fucked though since she drowned Moonheart - The Erins LOVE the -heart suffix they'll find a way to shove it somewhere and obviously when i say "pull a bristlefrost" i don't mean to erase her as we know it, but yk, kill her. and her sibling comes back to life if we go along w/ this theory? a switcharoo?

OH, and I can't believe I nearly forgot, but the ginger tabby has kits and names the all-black kit after their sister because the Erins love their legacy names lately

It is a beautiful day at Lubcor. More trees and flowers are blooming, birds are singing, people are outside, but a few others are adventuring.

“Hey, Happy Meal,” calls Pudding. “Check out this abandoned place I found!”

Happy Meal quickly runs until he sees the building, and stares at amazement.

“Woah, we've hit the jackpot! Who knows what could be in there! Wait, does that say..”

“Yup!” Pudding interjects. “The most confidential area, of confidential things.”

“How did you even FIND THIS?!” Happy Meal exclaims.

“By doing what we are right now. Come on, HM! We gotta see what's inside! Call 7-Ball!"

Pudding grabs Happy Meal by the wrist, and runs in.

“Nevermind, guess we're doing this by ourselves.” Pudding says.

“All this equipment is crazy. Guns, portal guns, ray guns, other guns, random things I don't know the name of, more guns-” Happy Meal gets interrupted.

“Alright, I get they like guns. Now just go do whatever you want around here or something.” Pudding says.

Happy Meal decides to go part from Pudding for a bit.

Happy Meal goes around, looking at stuff, and grabbing whatever he's curious about or finds interest in, like a baby with new toys.

He comes upon a random black orb, and starts toying with it. Like a baby.

Anyways, he decided to bring it home along with the rest of the stuff, and went back to where Pudding was.

But obviously, she wasn't there.

Happy Meal looked around the building, trying to find her, searching with maps displayed around the building.

And then he realized Pudding was just sneakily following them.

“Hey, you almost had me scared there!” yelled Happy Meal.

“Almost?” Pudding jokingly asked. “You were literally CRYING my name out!”

Pudding snickered a few times, while Happy Meal was slowly filled with rage.

And with it, he threw the ball to the ground, shattering it.

The ground was shaking. Their eyes flashed into a blinding white, and suddenly they were somewhere they've never been, along with a lot of other people they knew, and people they didn't.

Chatter started, then 2 figures revealed themselves.

“Hello!” the one shaped like a comma says. “I'm Comma, and this is my brother Period.”

“And you guys have just been chosen to be in a competition!” Comma says.

“Uhh, can we say no?” someone asks.

“No. Anyways, I went into your memories and made it so you know everyone here like 3 seconds ago.”

“..You what?” 7-Ball asks.

“ANYWAYS MAKE 2 TEAMS, BYE!-” Comma says, disappearing with their brother Period.

“..Okay, who is responsible for this?” Suncloud asks.

Pudding points their finger to Happy Meal.

“Happy Meal, what the HECK did you do?” exclaimed 7-Ball.

“Uhh-”

“Just forget it, we're trapped here, no thanks to you. Now just go make a team, I guess.”

“..okay,” responded Happy Meal.

“Hey guys, how about we make a team with one of them being the ones from the same planet, and the other being the other world people!” Airhorn recommends.

“Okay.” a lot of people say.

“I see you've finally made your teams!” says Comma. “Now we can finally start the first challenge.”

“..Which is?” asked Windeclipse.

“To go inside this video game and get rid of the glitches.” Period added.

“How the HECK would we do that?” asked Skittle.

“With magic, silly!” Comma cheerfully responded.

“..Wha-” was a ton of people’s reactions, either inside their head or said out loud.

They got teleported in the game with blasters to get rid of the enemy.

“Hey guys, there's some blasters here!” yelled Cuppy.

“Oh yeah, you're right! Guess it's for the bugs,” Happy Meal says.

“Hold on, how can we tell the difference between normal monsters and bugs?” N asks.

“I guess look for something that seems off?” Cuppy responds with.

“Hey guys, I think I spotted one right there!” Pudding says.

Happy Meal is the first one to pull out a zapper and get the bugs.

“Woo! That was surprisingly fun!” Happy Meal says. “Guess I needed to let a little rage out.”

“I thought you got enough rage out once you broke that thing.” Pudding says, looking unamused.

“Okay, I'm sorry! Now just shut up about it, please.” Happy Meal apologizes.

“Something tells me that's a lie.” Pudding says to herself.

“Guys, stop squawking and start searching! We don't know what happens when we lose!” Cucumber yells.

“Guys, I think we already know what to do. Just search for the bugs, and blast them with the shooters Windeclipse found.” Suncloud orders.

“And I'll just chill over here.” Skittle says.

“Nope, we'll all be doing this together.” Suncloud says as he pills Skittle away from the chair that started existing about 12 seconds ago.

“Wait, when'd that chair get here?” Suncloud asks. “Nevermind, just start searching.”

They all split up in groups of various sizes.

“Hey Moonstar, why'd we have to bring the pixel human thing?” Suncloud questions.

“I dunno.” Moonstar answers.

They run around for a bit.

“Hey, Windeclipse, See anything?” Suncloud asks.

“Uhh, I think I see something. Right there.” Windeclipse points to a glitchy looking area.

“Let’s try these things!” SoundCloud points the blaster to the glitches area, and shoots.

Nothing happens.

“Isn't it supposed to be gone..?” Windeclipse asks.

“I thin-?” Suncloud says, before being cut off.

The glitch grew bigger.

Cats of the Sun

The SunClans are four clans making up the whole that is SunClan, each clan fulfilling a different role in serving SunClan.

DawnClan

DawnClan are the healers. While every clan has its medicine cat, they are trained and evaluated in DawnClan, with the DawnClan medicine cats being the most respected and skilled of all medicine cats.

DawnClan does have its warriors still, though they know more basic healing than the warriors of all other clans. They live by the sea, which provides them with an abundance of food, and the cats of DawnClan are known as laid-back and trustworthy. Though, less favorable cats of other clans think of DawnClan as lazy and unwilling to do the "hard work" of clan life.

DayClan

DayClan are the peacekeepers. They are opposed to fighting, and instead do everything in their power to end conflict bloodlessly. DayClan trains and holds the best mediators, and are the most welcoming to outsiders.

DayClan, like all clans, has its warriors, some very skilled, but they prefer to keep their claws sheathed whenever they can. They live in the plains, enjoying its warmth and peace, which is fitting for how many cats would choose to describe DayClan. This does have the downside of many cats thinking of DayClan as weak, and sometimes even a danger to SunClan's way of life due to their willingness to take in outsiders.

DuskClan

DuskClan are the protectors. They defend the clans from outside threats, enforce the warrior code, and punish those who have committed crimes against the clans.

Their warriors are incredibly skilled and disciplined, believing themselves to be the strength of SunClan. Their forest home gives them a mastery of climbing and stealth, you can never truly know when a DuskClan cat is watching you. DuskClan cats are known for being fiercely loyal and always reliable, but some think they take advantage of their reputation, and their "protection" can border on the cruel.

NightClan

NightClan are the guardians of StarClan. They live amongst the spirits of their ancestors and pass on the history and stories of times long since passed.

Their warriors are wise and calm, some thinking of their roles less as warriors and more as walking stories. NightClan lives in the caves deep within the mountains, among towering crystals, said to be windows into StarClan. NightClan's camp sits just outside what SunClan calls the Path, a long path of sharp crystals leading to one perfect, tall, smooth crystal. When a new leader is made, they must "Walk the Path" walk on the shards, and lay before the crystal at the end of the path without getting cut, for if they bleed, it is a sign of StarClan's rejection. NightClan warriors are valued for their knowledge and spirituality, but many think of them as strange, and would not choose their company out of the other clans.

I'm gonna be posting some more old art in a bit (2021-2022ish) since I was looking through my old art and found some sketches I liked. This isn't one of those sketches that I like, but I wanted to share it since this was made not long after I consider Star Haunt began "development" mid-2022... although a lot of characters were borrowed from my 2020 WCOC story: The Chill In OleanderClan

This is my oldest sketch of Suncloud and Jackdawtuft. It's meant to be Suncloud's reaction to Icefern's death (hence the dark shadows since they're in a storm and she's next to water so there's ripples reflecting on her paws). Pretty sure she was still named Suntuft by this point
