When I was growing up, around middle through highschool range, the common method for guys in any kind of remotely alternative scene to try hitting on girls was to, apropos of nothing, go and tell her that it's possible to make napalm out of styrofoam and orange zest.

I was told this several times growing up, but never really got to test the accuracy because 1) These dipshits didn't commit to the bit enough to provide an actual recipe or any technical information beyond the fact that it was possible, which is hardly eligible bachelor material. And 2) Every one of them was too chicken shit to actually make a batch on their own. (I'm being funny with this, I don't actually think preteens should be handling napalm. I'm just saying if you wanna impress a gal, show her you can put in the effort). It also got pretty lame pretty fast once I realized they were all citing the same factoid (lack of originality is a fatal mistake in love and war)

Anyway, this got swapped out in favor of telling girls that you can make nitroglycerin out of soap once fightclub came out, which sucked ass because the info was even less accurate and even more obviously canned and the guys just kept getting edgier about it.

According to secondhand info I've received, there are like 3 types of marijuana that all do different effects, and only one of them is the "floppy spaced-out" variant you'd think of for a stereotypical pothead.

(The other two are, I think, good for focusing/getting out of your head, and getting energized. But the energizer one isn't optimal if you have anxiety, which makes sense from a stimulant aspect.)

I have a v small gripe and its that bc he is Bad at School people think he is Dumb and i hate that, not really bc of his character but bc i hate it as a concept irl; school sucks ass! Its hard! It doesnt accommodate for anyone that doesnt fit a very specific mold. Hes a kid that got out of an abusive domestic life, haunted by the abuse of his teacher and the imminent failure of his promised trackstar career, hes got alot happening; he is allowed to Not care about school when school is (was) a literal hell for him.
