On December 26th We will experience the last new moon of the and the last Solar Eclipse of the decade. The Eclipse will begin at 9:23 p.m. EST/ 6:23 PST. It will be visible in parts of Asia, Africa, and Australia. The New Moon will begin 12;13 am EST/ 8:13 pm PST and last three days.

 Eclipses provide greater insight into the part of the consciousness of the planet being affected. Because this eclipse affects the sun, governor of consciousness, awareness and direction, looking at your requirements objectively may play a big part of the next three days.  This particular eclipse, under the auspices of Capricorn, may induce a measure of agitation or anxiousness, where your conscious mind must directly address root causes and concerns about plans and basic necessities. It may induce a measure of sleepiness or weariness, where your emotions aren’t likely to be suppressed or ignored, allowing one greater examination of one’s feelings

In a 2017 post over at truthseekerastrology.com, I wrote about the American fascination with Mercury retrograde. I alluded to our deep seated anxieties about "technology taking over our lives" and unfounded fears of being disconnected from our families and friends as a result of unforeseen disruptions to our daily routines. 💫 It's been more than 3 years since I wrote that post. Today, we find our entire lives having been turned upside down by a global pandemic, but ironically, technology has had a huge role to play in keeping us healthy, connected and plugged in. It has also leveled the playing field in terms of who gets to create content and thus, control the media narrative (and in some cases, make a good living!!). On the downside, we've seen how technology can be used for nefarious purposes, i.e., stirring up hate and inciting violence. 💫 I conclude by writing, "And right or wrong, Americans are deeply and emotionally attached to our version of history. The attachment is not just to the story but to how it was written, why it was written, and who wrote it.
