I went to my first plant swap and man. It was WILD.
Keep in mind I heard about the plant swap a little over 24 hours before it was happening. I have no plants to exchange, I barely even have seedlings yet. But I do have a bunch of seeds so I decide to roll up and see what I can do.
Its from 2 to 5. I show up at 2:12 and its mostly houseplants. But the local library branch has a tent and they’re letting people check out some gardening books they brought if they have a library card on them!
Tumblr media
So I checked out “Seedswap: The gardener’s guide to saving and swapping seeds” by Josie Jeffery!
Woohoo!
(They also told me that if I want the library to set up seed libraries I should email showing interest because a lot of librarians have suggested it but public interest is needed 👀 special reminder to email/contact your local library about adding seed libraries if you haven’t got one already!)
I considered leaving but I decide to hang around and see if anyone else comes around with stuff that’s more my fancy (no disrespect to people who like houseplants but I have a 99% killrate with them and they’re just not my vibe) and
Y’all
I obtained a Boxcar tomato, a Blackberry Lily, a variegated pepper, a hibiscus cutting, loofah seeds, okra seeds, and FOUR (4!!!!) peach tree seedlings!!!
Tumblr media
HELLO??????
I spent like 6 bucks total (1 on a peach tree seedling, 5 on the pepper) and the rest was just seed trades (or the peach tree lady just… giving me more peach trees for being nice. Be nice to the elderly you might get peach trees out of it.) I was there for like an hour and a half TOPS.
Tumblr media
(I had to pot up the peach tree seedlings myself but this is still a W in my book lets see if they survive)
So uh
WOOHOO

GUYS, I was minding my business (drawing) when suddenly this blonde thing spawned in my desk and started to inquiry me about nearby gold mines or something 🙄 I will make him watch a Minecraft playthrough but like... Hate when this happens -_-
....Ok jokes aside, meet paper doll Quincy/C-Horse! :') Making these tiny cuties has been a must for family gifts, and I wanted to make one for myself too. :D I've been wanting to do anyone from Big Waves since January, and right in holidays I got the perfect chance ❤️
I was also inspired to do it thanks to the whole Inazuma 15th anniversary event, which I made a tweet for (Featuring an older work of mine). Arts and crafts have always been a passion of mine since little, and mixing it with my interests is a pleasing combination. If you like this one, I'm planning to do more in the future!
Here's some extra photos from the original tweet. Feat. Sk8ter Quincy (Or his try at being one, I guess).

Casual જ⁀➴ DK
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
✮ non idol au! dk x gn! reader
✮ Summary: You and DK have a special relationship. Although, he didn't think it was the same that you thought it was.
✮ Genre: Angst
✮ Word Count: 1,704
✮ Warnings: Suggestive actions mentioned (Kissing, FWB, all that stuff).
Tumblr media
Be prepared for the relationship to end.
No sleepovers.
Absolutely no strings attached.
These three rules were set in stone during your first time meeting DK. They were there in order to prevent either you or him from believing that your relationship with each other was anything more than a friends with benefits situation.
---
Sun rays shined through your windshield, and you lowered your sunvisor as you drove through the streets. It was around 6 pm and you were headed to your friend's house for his party. Your phone started ringing at the stop light, and you reached out to answer the call.
"Heyyy Y/n! Where are you right now?" He questions.
"Um... I'm around 6 minutes away," you responded.
"Alright! I'll see you in a bit then."
---
You park on the side of the curb and get out of your car. While walking up to the front door, it opens, and your friend, Jackson, greets you with a smile.
"Y/n! It's so good to see you." He walks over with his arms open.
You accept his hug, "It's nice to see you too. Am I the last to arrive?"
"Nope. Still waiting on DK," he says with a sigh.
You've heard from Jackson that DK usually runs late. After giving him a nod and a quiet "ok," you enter the house. It's fully decorated with lots of "Happy Birthday!" everywhere. There are lots of people as well, some of whom you recognize.
"Do you want something to drink?" Jackson asks.
"Yes, thank you," You respond.
Jackson pours you a drink, and you take it from his hand. As you take a seat on one of the sofas, Jackson goes out to greet DK. You watch them as you take a sip of your drink. Jackson is laughing and motioning DK inside. DK looks around, and his eyes land on yours. Your gaze lingers as his shifts away to look at other parts of the house.
Jackson dismisses himself from DK and goes upstairs. You finally take your eyes off of him and pull out your phone to scroll while taking sips of your drink. The loud music and constant conversations make it hard to be aware of your surroundings. It wasn't long until a pair of shoes appeared just above your phone. You slowly look up from your phone to see the guy whose eyes stayed on yours for longer than a minute.
"Hi..." He smiles sheepishly and says, "I saw you earlier and thought you could use someone to talk to."
"Oh! Um... sure. I guess," you say.
The two of you began to have a conversation for so long that neither of you noticed that everyone had left.
"Hey guys, I'm beat. If you need anything, just go for it. Also text me if you plan on leaving, but you guys could use my guest room if you'd like," Jackson says while yawning.
"Alright, thanks!" Both of you say in unison.
You watch Jackson as he makes his way upstairs and enters his room. You look back at DK, the guy who's told you all of his talents, jokes, and stories while you just listened. He's been staring at you.
"It's late. I recommend staying in the guest room with me," he says.
You give him a nod, and you both get up to get ready for bed. By the time you had finished, DK had just entered the guest room. Upon entering, he just stood there, not moving an inch.
"What could he be staring at?" You thought to yourself.
Moving your head to the side in order to see why DK was so stunned, you find yourself also stopping in your tracks. There was only one bed.
"I'll sleep on the floor," he says.
"Oh no, I couldn't just take the bed. I'll sleep on the floor instead," you say.
"No, I insist. You deserve the bed."
"But-"
"No buts."
"DK, there's enough space for both of us."
He opens his mouth to respond, but pauses for a moment.
"You... don't mind?"
"Of course not! I wouldn't want either of us sleeping on the floor, to be honest."
"O-okay.."
Even after agreeing to the plan, neither of you moved from your spots. Perhaps due to the nervousness of being in the same bed with someone you just met. Or maybe it was due to the unidentifiable feeling that resided in you. You couldn't tell exactly what it was. It wasn't unpleasant, though, more like butterflies flying around in your stomach. The feeling that was inside of you was, undoubtedly, attraction.
He made the first step, walking towards the bed. He sat down and slowly got under the covers. You quickly followed suit. Both of you turned off the lamps on the side tables. Moonlight was the only thing illuminating the room. It was still dark, but you could still make out silhouettes.
There was lots of tossing and turning from the two of you. It ended up with you guys being back to back with each other. You felt as if you were about to burst by being this close to an attractive guy who seems to like you back. Although there were no words being said, it was as if he knew what you were thinking. You both quickly turn to the other side to face each other. The light from the moon made his face seem even more ethereal.
"Can I kiss you?"
Those words echoed throughout your head. The sudden question made you stop thinking about everything else. It was as if time had stopped entirely.
"Yeah."
The comforter rustled as DK gently grabbed your face and pulled you closer. The moment your lips touched his, every restriction you had was gone. It got heated. Fast. His hands traveled around your body, outlining it as he continued to make out with you. Your hands began to explore his body as well. Both pairs of hands explored until they landed on each other. You stopped kissing him to breathe. Your pants filling the silent room.
"What... what are we?" You ask.
"We could be friends with benefits if you'd like that," he responds, still breathing heavily.
You stayed silent for a bit to think.
"Friends with benefits, huh. Sure."
---
A year passes as your relationship with DK grows. You both agreed on being friends with benefits, but you started to get the idea that DK's opinion on your relationship has changed. The reason you got this idea in the first place is because of what happened 6 months into the agreement.
===
Your phone pings, alerting you that someone texted you.
DK: You want to come over later tonight? Like around 7 pm. Y/n: I'm down. DK: Okay, see you later then. Y/n: See you!
You've been frequenting DK's place quite often. Around this point, everyone knew the two of you were friends with benefits. There were some who initially thought you guys were dating. DK squashed those rumors by saying you guys were just "casual." Even his mom knew the two of you were close. Close enough that she would invite you to eat at her place.
After getting ready, you drove to DK's house for your weekly visit. It felt the same each time. You were in and out of his house to avoid anything else happening. This time, though, it was different. DK was drinking before your arrival, and by the time you got there, he was already quite drunk.
He gave you drinks as well as refilling his own. As the night progressed, both of you started becoming very drunk.
"Y'know... I think of us sometimes," DK slurred.
"really?" you question.
"Y-eah. Like, we'd have an apartment and live together or something. We'd probably be together by then, too. I really wonder what it would be like. Us. Dating."
You couldn't respond. This broke the third rule, and you knew that. But some say that drunk people are more likely to say the truth. Is this what he really felt?
"Do you... mean that?" You ask.
He looks at you and says, "yeah."
===
After that happened, everything changed. Your weekly visits turned into you moving in, and it seemed as if you two were getting too close. But after 1 year, he decided it was over. Whenever someone asked DK if the two of you were dating, he would always respond that you two weren't together. That you were just someone he'd hook up with. Of course, after moving in and living together for a couple months, you were angry. Angry that he would just act like nothing happened. Act like what he said and did had no weight to it. By the third time you heard the rumors of DK denying your relationship, you've had enough.
---
"What the hell are you thinking?" You yell.
He takes a step back, shocked by your first words to him were you yelling at him.
"What do you mean?" He questions.
"You know what I mean. You've been going around denying that we're dating."
"We aren't."
It felt like your heart had stopped.
"What? Don't tell me you forgot what you said 6 months ago."
He stared at you, unable to respond. His words were stuck in his throat.
"You told me that you wished we were together. That we would have an apartment and a life together. I asked if that's what you truly wanted, and then you agreed. I even moved in! But after that, you've been distancing yourself. Was all of that a lie?"
His hands turned into fists, and his eyes left yours. You waited for a response. For at least something from him. But in the end, there was nothing. He had nothing left to say.
"I hate that I let this drag on for so long. I can't believe you would lead me on like that. I can't believe I fooled myself into believing that you meant what you said."
You quickly turned around and walked to the door.
Without looking back, you say, "You really have nothing else to say to me?"
The silence was deafening. For both you and him.
You walk out the door and close it with tears threatening to leave your eyes.
DK reaches out to the closed door, "y/n..."

Thanks to @writebackatya for the slogan suggestion!
Dewey would love the I'm Just Ken scene from Barbie. I mean, come on. It's a dance fight (still upset that Dewey almost but not quite got a dance fight with Don Karnage) with glitter and toys and a musical number. It's awesome.
I've wanted to see Dewey rockin' the hoodie Ken wears at the end. I freakin' LOVE that color scheme. I replaced the headband with a sunvisor, an aspect of Dewey's concept art I really like. I also added shutter shades because I had (or maybe I still have them?) some for my Ken dolls and thought they would go with the vibe.

Upon Arrival
Tumblr media
OK, I really have issues. This was another <100 ask, and I clocked in at 1600 words. I think I need to change that to 1000 if I ever do it again! lol Anyway, this is based on this ask from my friend @icecoffee90! I hope you enjoy it, Z... Tobias/Jackie/Airport... it was a little challenging. 😉
Book: Open Heart Pairing: Tobias Carrick x F!MC (Casey Carrick) Featuring: Jackie Varma Rating: Teen Words: 1,600 Summary: Casey's stuck at work a little late, so she asks Tobias for a favor. Her usually unflappable husband seems a little... flapped... and we're about to find out why. A/N: Participating in @choicesnovchallenge | Go for a ride day. It may not have been a planned or desired ride, but it was a ride nevertheless. lol
Tumblr media
Tobias bopped into the Diagnostic Team’s office with his usual effervescence, and why not? His shift was almost over, and it had been a banner day. Not only did he solve a case that had left the nation’s top doctors baffled for months, but he saved a young child’s life in the process. If that weren’t enough, his favorite patient, Mr. Ortega, went home after two months at Edenbrook, but not before his husband hand-delivered a dozen of his incomparable empanadas as a thank-you. Now, he was about to go home to the most precious little angel ever created with the most beautiful woman in the world on his arm. Sure, he knew the last part was strictly his opinion, but he also knew he was right. He had every reason to be happy.
He lit up when he saw his wife seated behind her desk, but one look at the expression on her face and he quickly dimmed.
“What do you need?” He asked before she could say a word.
“What?” Casey answered defensively, “Who said I needed anything?”
“That look on your face did. Do you need me to take care of a difficult patient?”
“When have I ever asked you to pick up a difficult patient?”
“Never,” he agreed. “Is it Ramsey? You had rounds with him.” Thinking he got it right, he snapped his fingers. “He’s constipated again, isn’t he? And taking it out on you? I’ll go spike his coffee with Fiberlax...”
“No,” Casey laughed. “Ethan’s fine. Please don’t go medicating him illegally. But...”
“But?”
“But he needs me to stay on a little later tonight. Amanda Chou is coming out of surgery in an hour, and we agreed we should assess her as soon as she’s done.”
“That makes sense. Don’t sweat it. I’m more than capable of caring for Samantha until you get home. We’ll both be eagerly waiting for you.”
“Yeah, about that,” she winced.
“What? You don’t think I can take care of Sammy?”
“No! I know you can do that! But did you forget? It’s Wednesday... I was supposed to pick Jackie up at Logan tonight.”
“Oh, right!”
“So, I was wondering... would you be able to get her for me?”
“Casey....” he groaned.
“I already cleared it with your Mom, and she’s happy to stay with Sam until I’m home....”
“Would she happily pick Varma up at Logan for me instead?”
“Tobias, you know she doesn’t drive at night. Besides, she barely knows Jackie.”
“I hardly know her either. But it’s no fault of my own. She hates me.”
“She does not hate you! She’s just... Jackie.”
“No. She hates me.”
“Well, then this is the perfect opportunity for you to get a little one-on-one time with her to work whatever it is out. Come on, baby, do it for me?” She looked at him with the saddest puppy-dog eyes, batting her lashes adorably.
“That’s not fair! You know I can’t deny you. Especially when you give me those eyes.”
“I know, that’s why I do it. Come on, T,” she pleaded as she sat on his lap. “I promise you, she doesn’t bite.”
“I’m not so sure about that,” he scoffed. “I’ll do it, but if I end up needing rabies shots, I’m gonna be pissed.”
~~~~
The sun had almost set, but its light was still bright as Tobias waited in his car for Jackie. He adjusted the sunvisor to shield his eyes, then looked at the clock. Fifteen minutes had passed since she told him she was five minutes away. He double-checked the gate to ensure he was in the right spot when he saw her walking his way with two large suitcases in tow. He jumped out of the car with a grin.
“Hey, let me give you a hand with those!”
“Thanks,” Jackie half smiled. “But I managed to get them from my apartment in Los Angeles to Boston. I think I can manage throwing them in the trunk.”
“Suit yourself,” he replied, raising his hands in surrender. “Just trying to be nice.”
He considered attempting small talk as Jackie settled into the passenger’s seat and strapped herself in. But he decided to let her take the lead instead.
Years before, when he came into Casey’s life, every one of her friends was skeptical. After the chemical attack, each warned that he’d meet his fate in unique and painful ways if he dared to hurt her. But if memory served, Jackie’s method of ridding the world of him was the most frightening of all. Most of her friends had come around. After all, they were a disgustingly happy married couple with a little girl of their own. He was obviously in this for the long haul. Casey was safe. He now considered her friends, their friends... except for Jackie, and for the life of him, he couldn’t figure out why.
They sat in awkward silence for several more minutes when Jackie caved.
“So... how’d you get stuck coming to get me.”
“Casey’s working late,” he answered, palming the wheel to turn onto the highway. “So, I’m being a nice husband and stepping in.”
He was doing his best. But the neutral expression he had plastered on his face began to crumble when a loud snort escaped Jackie’s nose. Maybe Casey was right; perhaps he should use this time to finally clear the air.
“What?” He asked, annoyed. “What did I say that was so funny?”
“Nothing. But it still blows my mind a little that words like ‘nice husband’ are used to refer to you.”
“OK... but they fit now, right?”
“I guess,” she shrugged. “Casey’s nauseatingly happy, so you must be doing something right.”
Just like that, the smile was back on his lips. “That’s good to know.”
But silence descended upon the car again, and Tobias had to ask. “Jackie... do you have a problem with me? I know you thought I was an asshole in the past, but that’s a distant past now. Why the hell don’t you like me?”
Jackie’s eyes lit up, her lips pursing to prevent a telltale grin. She could have some serious fun with this, and her mind spun with fantastical stories that would have Tobias sweating the whole way home. But something happened. She wasn’t sure if it was the borderline fear she saw in the 6’1” man’s eyes or her own worry over the reprimand she’d get from Casey later, but she relented.
“What? Does everyone in the world have to succumb to the charms of Dr. Tobias Carrick?”
“I didn’t say you had to love me, Jackie; it’s just....”
“Why the hell do you think I don’t like you?” She interrupted. “I acknowledge your existence. I talk to you on occasion. I eviscerate you on social media. I was at your wedding, for God’s sake.”
“Yeah, but those could be categorized as obligations because you’re a friend of Casey’s... well, save the social media part.”
“Ah, you don’t know me very well, Carrick. If I didn’t like you, I wouldn’t do any of those things. If I truly didn’t like you, you wouldn’t be married to my friend. I would have locked Casey in a closet before your wedding out of moral obligation. But no... I was there.”
“So, you weren’t there solely for the free food and open bar?”
“Well, those were my top two reasons. But I was a freaking bridesmaid. I wouldn’t put myself through that torture if I didn’t like you.”
“So you do like me.”
 “You don’t suck... and you make Casey happy, which is all that matters to me. But you really thought I hated you?”
“Well... you always looked at me with disgust...”
Jackie waved her hand, “No, that’s just my face.”
“Ninety percent of the time, if you’re speaking to me, it’s pure sarcasm... and you never call me by my name. It’s always Rico Suave.”
“The name is fitting! Not for nothing, but your mother should have changed it legally before you started school! You’re far more Rico Suave than Tobias.”
“I’m pretty sure that’s meant to be an insult,” he smiled.
“Only a baby one. You really thought I didn’t like you? Have you not seen me with Bryce?”
“I have. I assumed you didn’t like him either.”
“Theoretically, I hate everyone, so I understand the confusion. But Bryce is one of my best friends. Tell him that, and I’ll make sure there is no way you can ever procreate with your wife again.”
Tobias shook his head with a laugh. “So, the first time you admit that you like me, you also threaten violence. Does this mean we’re best friends, too?”
“Don’t push your luck, Rico.”
Tobias pulled the car into the carport of his townhome, and he and Jackie looked up to see Casey at the window with Sammy on her hip. She held the infant’s hand as they excitedly waved together. Tobias watched Jackie break into a rare, genuine smile as she waved back.
“I’m so telling your wife,” she said as they exited the car.
“Telling my wife what?”
“That you’re a wuss. I may have to consider a new nickname for you if you were actually afraid of me.”
“I was never afraid of you! I didn’t want one of Casey’s best friends to hate me. But now I know I have the Varma seal of approval, so all’s well.”
“Hey, slow your roll. If you want an official Varma seal of approval, there will be a fee involved, money bags. Either that, or you could hook me up with your brother. Either will do.”
“Sorry, I think my brother has his eye on Raf.”
“That bastard!”
“As to the fee... how about I treat to dinner tonight?”
Jackie nodded thoughtfully. “Dinner tonight, and I get to tell everyone you feared me.”
Tobias sighed wearily. “I wasn’t afraid of... you know what, if you want to tell a limited audience that I was afraid of you, go for it.”
“Good,” Jackie grinned as Casey opened the door, “Now I know what I’m telling Sammy for a bedtime story!”
I hope it was decent, @icecoffee90... I'm not sure. lol Thanks for the ask, dear!
I had you in my grip
Pairing: Noah Sebastian x reader
Warning: Death, pain, kissing, possible NSFW content in later chapters, 18+
Word count: 1798
Part one
No God, no religion. The four words that spun spirals around your head now echoing loud within the halls of the church you'd found yourself in on this Sunday morning for your best friends, daughters christening. You pondered on the fact that if there was a God, he was surely judging you right now, whilst the face of his son was staring at you from the sunlit stained glass. As the vicar invited everyone into prayer, you felt like an impostor, noting everyone joined in, knowing the words like a well rehearsed script, their eyes shut and hands together. “Amen”, reverberated off the walls from their unison, understanding their prayer was now fixed, a message to their God. Looking down at your watch you panicked. “shit.” You noticed the Vicar snap his head towards you, disapproval on his face, a small, “sorry” escaped your mouth. Your work meeting was about to take place in 10 minutes and you couldn't be late. Your friend already knew that you had to go to this meeting and that it couldn't be missed. You gave her a small wave and then quickly took off and out of the sacred building. The heavy wooden door slammed shut behind you like God was kicking you out, guilt twanging in your heart that you couldn't stay for your best friend, but relief washing over you. “Hopefully I won't have to come back to one of these until someone dies”, you laugh to yourself as you unlock your car and climb into it.
Thankfully, your workplace was only round the corner so you should make it on time. Slamming your foot on the gas you speed out of the car park and join the road. You flipped down the mirror on the sunvisor and reapply your lipstick, not paying much attention to the road until a beep from your left brings you back, you'd almost gone into the other lane. Panicking, you swing the steering wheel to put you back on track, “shit”, you cursed again, catching a quick glimpse at yourself in the mirror not seeing you smudged red lipstick on your cheek in the almost accident. You wiped it off and had to slam your foot on the break as to not hit the car in front of you. “Damn what is up with me today?” You mutter. A smash was the last thing you heard before your car was being rolled sideways and down the hill on the grass banking. The world was tumbling around you, and before you even had a second to fully register what was happening, it was over everything went black.
It didn't happen like they say movies, your life didn't flash before your eyes over and again like projection, you didn't think about everything you wished you could've done and regrets never came to mind. Your life just came to an end. It was over. Your existence would soon become a shadow of what once was, and your friends and family would probably mourn you in that church you had been in today.
Darkness descended into a realm where the sun is silent and eternal flame burns.
"Welcome, Y/N." A velvet voice bellowed and reverberated back to you, rattling your being. Your eyes snapped open as your hands groped at the cold stone floor beneath your laying form. Standing, you looked for the man who had spoken your name only moments ago but had to strain your eyes as the only light describable was that of which the glow of the fire river touched. A silhouette cascaded and shadowed your much smaller figure, rendering you completely at its mercy.
"Are you the devil? Am I in Hell?" You croaked out and he tutted back at you.
"'No God, no religion', isn't that what you always said, Y/N?"
"Yes but I died, didn't I?"
"That you did." The figure edges forward.
"So, then where am I?"
"You, my dear, are in the world of the unconscious, and I am the fucking king." He stepped into the light as the fire erupted behind him and fell back into itself. His cloak of shadows trailing behind, each penumbra ricocheting off of the other until they came to a sudden stop, flowing around his tall and thin stature. On top of his short black hair sat a golden crown which reflected the fire to the side of you and relayed your own fragile image back to yourself.
"Strange." You declared.
"What is?" He laughed wickedly.
"I've spent my entire existence dismissing - no - refusing that there was a life after death, but"
"This is not life, Y/N". He interrupted. "Your life ended in that car, everything you was in the land of the living serves no purpose here. You are but an empty vessel drifting through space. Lost."
Your stomach dropped at his words, your past self was now rendered insignificant. A solitary tear fell down your cheek. The man lifted his hand up to you, and wiped the stray tear away with his thumb.
"Don't cry. Though you may have been confined here, you do not walk alone." The king whispered softly, a soothing warmth embedded within and your eyes locked. "Other souls reside here, and I will always be close by." A slight smile tucked into at the corner of his lips and disappeared almost instantly, bringing a sense of comfort to your new existence. You offered him a smile back. "Now, please follow Me." He extended his hand out towards you, which you took without even a moments hesitation.
"Where are we going?" You ask as fire from the river spluttering around you almost burnt you.
“Watch out for Phlegethon." He motioned to the fire river. "We are going on a tour."
"Is this some elaborate trick to chuck me into a room where you can torture me?" You laugh nervously.
"Torture? No." He laughed. "That is for later."
You gulped and hoped he was joking. "Do you give tours to everyone? Surely that would take forever."
"No, only to my most special guests." He winks.
It felt like hours had passed as the king takes you around a slither of the realm as he explained it would take a millennium to explore it all. You noted how a lot of it looked the same, more fire, more stone, some rooms here and there. You walked past a few of the other souls who seem to have lost all sense of purpose yet some tried to speak to you but your king would cast them aside, even chucking one into the fire in a rage. He made you aware that until you had spent a significant amount of time here, they would be under the illusion that you were alive and would try to bargain with you. In exchange for what, you didn't dare ask.
"So, I know you're my king but, do you have a name?" You question.
"Noah." His hand tightened around yours.
"Noah?" You laugh. "So not anything like Satan or Asmodeus?"
Noah tilts his head to the side. "Sorry to disappoint you, but this was my given name."
"No, I like it." You smile. "Not threatening, I suppose."
"I don't threaten you?" Noah's face changes as he slams you into a wall, arms either side of you. You shook your head.
"I am the keeper of the damned, the ruler of the underworld, torturer and punisher. I don't threaten you?" Your core burnt at the closeness. His face so close to yours, you couldn't help but note how gorgeous he was.
"No." You couldn't explain it, but there was a glossiness that cast over his eyes that dared you to carry on. "I am not threatened by you."
Noah narrowed his eyes, a flicker of anger passed through his features. "You underestimate the depths of my power, little one." He warned. "Do you not understand the consequences of questioning me? Your suffering is at my command, your mind cannot comprehend the torture I can and will inflict upon you."
"And what torture might that be, Noah?" Flirtation in your voice and a glint of playfulness in your eyes as they glanced between his eyes and his lips.
"Eager to find out, are you?" Noah lifted his hand up to your cheek and before you could even respond his lips were on yours in a heated passion. Your stomach did flips as you responded with the same hunger and your hand found its way into his hair and pulled it slightly, begging for more. He bit your bottom lip hard and drew blood. You moaned through the pain and tasted the copper liquid as your tongues collided in a fiery dance, both fighting to win dominance.
But then, a sudden jolt of pain spread through your chest causing you to break the kiss and gasp out, your eyes wide. "What did you do, Noah?" You ask as you clutch to where your heart would be.
"N-nothing." He retracts as he watches you fall to the floor and scream in pain as another bolt floods through you, an intense feeling you'd never experienced before, it felt like electricity causing through you. Noah kneels down beside you. "I don't understand what's happening! I swear, this isn't my doing." He shouts out, worry tinged in his voice and confusion painted across his face as he reaches out to grab your hand.
"Make it stop." You choke out a sob as you claw at your chest.
"I don't know how!" He scans the area to see if there's anything or any soul doing this to you.
"Fuck!" You scream in agony as another hit pulls you through the darkness.
Your eyes snap open and a breath floods your lungs. Bright light penetrates your eyes causing you to squint.
"We've got her." A woman's voice shouts out from next to you. "Welcome back to the land of the living." You notice the paddles of a defibrillator in her hands. Blinking rapidly, you struggle to make sense of your surroundings as you lay sprawled out on a road with glass and blood surrounding you. Then to the corner of your eyes you notice your car on its side and remember that you'd crashed and ended up in a different world.
"N-Noah?" You croak. "Where's, Noah?"
"Is that your boyfriend? Was he in the car too?"
"No." Had you dreamed all of this? Surely not. It had all seemed so real. Disoriented was an understatement so you tried to sit up.
"Wow wow. Stay laid down, we don't know if you've broken anything. We need to place a neck brace on you and get you on a board."
That was the last thing you remembered before you blacked out.
Can we have a part 2 to "Goodbye, Simon.”
Please..
I need them to hug ;w;
Here you go! This is a part 2 to this!
-
Soap had let himself just collapse in on himself for a few days. It'd been a horrible few days. Breaking up with Ghost had to be one of the hardest things he would hopefully ever do.
As it was, the first day had been spent almost running right back to him at every turn. But, no. Ghost needed someone better, someone who could actually help him and Soap... Soap wasn't that.
However, what he was not expecting Alejandro to call him on the fourth day and ask if he was coming to pick them up from the airport. "What??" Soap frowned.
"Shit, has he not asked yet?? Rudy, Rudy- Rudy! He's not asked! Look, hermano, we're at the airport."
"Why? Why not just use the helicopter pad at the base?" Soap frowned, already getting up to get dressed.
"Because we have Valeria! Val! Val, you do not need those ridiculous sunglasses-"
Soap sighed, hearing Valeria, in the background. She was yelling at him in Spanish, too muffled for him to bother trying to pick it up. "Look, I'll be there in a bit."
"Are you alright, Hermano?" Alejandro sounded concerned.
"I'll tell you when I get there." Soap hung up and shook his head. He went out to the car, driving to the airport in silence. He winced when he looked in his little mirror thing on the sunvisor. He looked like shit.
He texted Alejandro that he was there. Rodolfo jumped into the front seat before Alejandro could. "Soap," he smiled and hugged Soap. Soap couldn't help just melting into the hug. He needed to be careful or he'd cry again.
"Hey, Rudy. Val, Alejandro." He acknowledged to the backseat. Valeria sighed, wearing aviator shades, and leaning her head back. "Jetlag?"
"Hangover. I was kidnapped."
"Diego said you'd be fine." Alejandro shrugged and grinned.
Valeria rolled her eyes. "Anyway-" She looked up. "Dude, you look like shit." She sounded concerned. Well, concerned for Valeria.
Soap winced. "Eh." He mumbled, starting to drive again. "So, why exactly are you here?"
"Well, we can't tell you, yet!" Alejandro grinned. "It's a surprise. We thought Ghost would have done it by now but... I guess not. It's okay, though. I do need to talk to him. I think Laswell said she would be here, tomorrow. She's staying with Price, Alex, and Gaz, right?" He looked at Rodolfo, leaning forward.
Rodolfo nodded and smiled. "That's what she said."
"Where are you three staying?" Soap frowned, now even more confused. Laswell was coming? Why??
"A hotel." Rodolfo explained. "Ale set us in a nice one." He reached his hand back, taking Alejandro's hand. Alejandro grinned at him before sitting back again.
Soap cringed. Seeing them being so cute together reminded him of the heartbreak. "Cool. Hey, um... if you guys want to hang out with me... I'm also staying in a hotel, right now."
"Why??" Alejandro sat up, immediately. Even Valeria seemed to perk up to attention and Rodolfo looked at him in concern.
Soap winced. "Ghost and I broke up..." He mumbled.
"Why on earth would you do that?!" Valeria exclaimed. "Who broke up with who?!"
Soap was a little shocked by her reaction. "I broke up with him." He shrugged a little.
Valeria made a face. "¡Pendejo, ustedes dos eran perfectos!"
Soap rolled his eyes. "He left for three weeks. I... I got sick of never being called. He couldn't come to me when he was... spiraling. He needs to find someone he can."
Rodolfo was frowning deeply. "Val, be kind... This was probably hard for him..."
Valeria shook her head, whacking Alejandro's arm. "No! Alejandro, tell him! Tell him about the ring!"
"Ring?" Soap's heart sank. "What ring?!"
Alejandro cringed. "Ghost... Ghost was supposed to propose when he got back. He... called on the day he was going back. He said he couldn't keep waking up in the dirt and that you deserved better, so he was going to be better."
Soap gripped at the steering wheel, hardly able to breathe. "He... He was going to propose?"
"Yes!" Valeria shook her head. "I was there during the phone call! A month ago, he almost had a breakdown on call asking Alejandro, desperately, to help him find the perfect ring for you."
Alejandro winced. "He was so desperate to find the right one. He knew you'd want some sort of symbol but you don't like feminine things and we found such a nice ring..."
Soap was going to start screaming. "Oh god... He came in like he was going to ask something and I-" He was going to lose it. "I broke up with him the night he got back."
"Estúpido!" Valeria hit her forehead.
"Where's your hotel??" Soap needed to fix this, immediately.
Rodolfo quickly put it into the gps and Soap drove way faster than he should.
When they arrived, he practically yelled at them to get out. Thankfully, they were all three very fast getting out. Valeria told him he better be rushing to get back together with Ghost.
Soap couldn't breathe as he drove. All he could think about was poor Ghost having finally worked himself up to propose and Soap broke up with him before he could. Oh god... Soap was so dumb.
Ghost was going to make the effort to get better and Soap had so easily decided he couldn't. Soap was so horrible. So awful... He barely stopped to get the keys out of the car, slamming the door.
He could only imagine how badly Ghost must be spiraling. This must have been so hard for him. He ran up to the apartment and immediately banged on the door.
Already, his mind was telling him in excruciating detail just exactly how Ghost had likely hurt himself for this. He wanted to scream in desperation when Ghost didn't answer and fumbled to get his key out, thankful he hadn't taken it off the ring yet.
His hands were shaky, so he could barely get the fucking thing into the lock, but he managed. Once he did, he threw open the door to the apartment. It was exactly how he'd left it.
Soap's anxiety rose and he shook as he shut the door. He could see into the kitchen enough to see that the plate of food he'd made for Ghost was still there, covered in gnats.
Soap was not religious, but in that moment he started to pray. Please, please let Ghost be okay. Let him be alive. He could fix anything else, but god, God please let him be alive.
Soap checked the bathroom, first, before checking the bedroom. Ghost was in the bed, thankfully, and Soap could see the rise and fall of his side so he was definitely breathing.
"Simon?" Soap asked, softly, trying to keep his voice from breaking.
Ghost almost whipped around to look at him. Soap's heart broke when he saw him. Ghost couldn't cry. Soap knew that. But, fuck, it looked like he'd been trying.
At some point, Ghost had taken his shirt off and Soap could see deep claw marks in the skin. They were horrible, some were scabbed over. Soap went over to him. "Simon, I- I'm sorry... I..."
He glanced at the nightstand, seeing a ring. He decided to come back to that, though. "Alejandro told me... He told me you were going to propose and you were making a commitment to getting better and I..."
Ghost looked away, looking almost ashamed. "You were right. I should have been better to you a long time ago."
"I.. never gave you a chance." Soap mumbled. "I should have..." He sat on the bed, feeling so horrible. "These last four days have been hell..."
Ghost rolled over, his back to him. He didn't respond. Soap touched his arm and looked down. "I gave up so easily on you... I... I'm so horrible for that..."
Ghost immediately looked at him, again. He sat up and Soap frowned. "No, don't say that. I asked you to put up with shit you never should have. I pushed you to... to be okay with things that no one should be okay with. You're right, I should have came to you with problems, I should have called you at the very least." He grabbed Soap's hand and put it on his own face.
Soap softened and smiled. "I never asked you, before that. I... I jumped straight to breaking up. Will you ever forgive me?"
Ghost seemed to hesitate and then he was reaching to the nightstand, picking up the ring. He slipped it onto Soap's left ring finger. "If you... say you'll marry me." He nodded.
Soap couldn't help his grin. It was so stupid because this was not a moment to be grinning at but Ghost wanted to get married. To him. "I will. I would do it two hundred times if I could."
"That's not necessary, Johnny." Ghost laughed and Soap found himself fully relaxing.
Soap grabbed Ghost's hand and kissed his palm. "Let's shower, Ghost... I think we could both use it..."
"Johnny, I- I love you." Soap gasped as he was grabbed and Ghost was burying his face in his shoulder. "I will do whatever I have to to keep you from leaving again..."
Soap relaxed and hugged back. "I won't, Ghost. I won't leave again. I love you, too."
