🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

Hi there Pixie!! Thank you so so much for the ask!

I'm the first to admit that I'm not terribly funny, and I tend to find humor REALLY hard... but occasionally I do make myself giggle?

I am always delighted by this particular InuKag exchange in The Magic Word:

The man turned his bike towards the sidewalk where she was standing and peered closely into her eyes. “You know,” he said matter-of-factly, “you say ‘sorry’ too fucking much.”

“And you say ‘fuck’ too fucking much,” Kagome shot back. She froze. Did...he…?

“Wait just a minute,” she said slowly, “are you telling me that…?”

“Yeah,” he grumbled, not quite meeting her gaze. “Looks like I’m your soulmate.”

I always love InuKag banter, but this one still makes me giggle--the premise was so much fun and I loved to think of creative ways to get Inuyasha to say "fuck" in this one.

As a bonus, I also love writing BoKuroo banter, because Kuroo loves to provoke and Bokuto always takes Kuroo seriously in Haikyuu fics, and here's one of my favorites from A Kiss to Claim, where Kuroo gets to tease Bo about his feelings for Akaashi:

Kuroo’s eyes widen. “He did.” Kōtarō nods. “Our Akaashi? Pretending to be your boyfriend.” Kōtarō nods again.

Kuroo starts to laugh, that loud, annoying hyena laugh that makes Kōtarō want to punch him in the face on the best of days, but today…

“Kuroo!” Kōtarō hisses. “This is serious.”

“I know.” Kuroo levels him with a steady gaze. “You’ve only been praying for this moment for what, like four years now?”

“Five,” Kōtarō replies meekly.

What do you wear when you have to dress nicely?

Soooo I took a little while to answer this because I was going to take a picture and eventually dropped the idea, BUT my go-to is a knee-length red dress with black tights — pretty and elegant without coming off as too much. In the summer, it's a long, white dress with blue flowers on it that used to be my mother's!

21. What’s your favorite period in art history, your favorite famous work and/or your favorite style of art?

My favourite period is definitely impressionism! I love how the brushstrokes create an ethereal and dream-like atmosphere in all the paintings. I love Monet's works, but Starry Night is also always a favourite.

My favourite famous work, though, is actually a sculpture! I love love love the Nike of Samothrace. I actually saw it live when I was like 15 years old? It left such an impression in me to walk up the stairs looking up at it in its pedestal and it made me so emotional for some reason, like I was in Ancient Greece watching it standing over the sea and blessing the city below, and it's been my favourite ever since!

There are probably a lot more than just this, but I'm going to go with mating, mate marking, mate bonding, etc. Even when I don't plan to include it, it sneaks in. I just can't let Inu live on without Kagome by his side.

honestly, i don't know if i have an answer for this?? i don't know that i have any ideas that have gotten to like...~idea~ stage that i haven't ultimately sat down to write?

i just pulled up my brainstorming docs and i do have a couple iterations of a veela fic idea that never panned out. i dont know if i'd say it got away though? there's still hope i'll get back to it and figure out what was wrong. but for now, that's my only problem child lol

🛠What tools/programs/apps do you use to write?

🛠 I don't use any fancy programs or tools, usually just microsoft word or, lately because of my lack of time due to work, the notes app on my phone. Then I either put it directly on tumblr/ao3 from the notes app or copy it into a word document to be able to edit it properly.

⛔ Scrapped as in like "I actively decided I don't want to write this anymore", no. I have a dozen of half-done/barely-started wips that I haven't worked on in years but my mindset is still "I'll finish these.... eventually. Someday." Dunno when eventually will be but I have never like actively given up on a fic.
