I LOVED all quiet on the western front and this part reminded me of Philip

This (tiktok) sound Red Tears by The Johns helps SA survivors. Every time it is used, money gets donated to SA survivors. As someone who's gotten SAd for years by a family member, NOT using this sound does NOT make you a "bad person". Although it is highly appreciated, forcing/guilt tripping people into using the sound is NOT it. SA is more or so often traumatizing, the donations to survivors provide help and support.

May I request some headcanons for The Knight, The Blight, and The Wraith with a twitchy boyfriend who has trouble staying still? Sometimes I'll be sitting still and my head will jerk to the side randomly or one of my legs will kick out and it drives me insane to the point I have trouble falling asleep sometimes :(

Philip Ojomo / The Wraith:

Philip tends to keep a close eye on you. He worries about you -- even if you've told him not to be -- and fears you may hurt yourself accidentally, so he just wants to make sure you're okay when he knows that your twitching is acting up. If you're standing together he'll put his hand on your shoulder or around your back, but otherwise, he frequently checks in on you.

In a really weird kind of way, he finds your twitching...comforting? It lets him know you're still with him. When the two of you are close in any way, like when you're laying together or he's holding your hand, and he feels you jerk around, he pulls you closer. He would prefer it didn't happen, for your sake, but he appreciates knowing you aren't suddenly gone.

And he's certainly no stranger to having problems sleeping, being haunted by nightmares, himself; so he knows how you feel, to some extent. When he feels you jerk around in bed, he'll immediately wrap his arms around you and lean his head into your back or chest. He doesn't really know how to help you, because he doesn't know how to help himself, but he hopes that helps...at least a little.

Talbot Grimes / The Blight:

Talbot has always loved having you around since he met you; he finally has someone more like him around the fog. It really does something to his old, shriveled up heart seeing you do the exact same thing he does. Granted, his are more frequent; it still has always made him happy.

And he always tries to make this clear to you. Even before you were together, he'd frequently hobble over to you just to sit with you. He's not much of a talker, so he usually conveys his thoughts through gestures or tapping his cane. He didn't think you understood for a while, but was delighted when he realized you did.

When you're having problems sleeping, he'll always offer you some sort of tonic or tincture to relax you and help you sleep. If you don't want any, that's fine, he'll let you cuddle up and rest your head on his chest, so that he can rub your back while he reads quietly beside you.

Tarhos Kovács / The Knight:

Tarhos was always interested in you from the moment he saw you. He's never seen someone do...that, before. He had long assumed you were cursed for your hubris, once upon a time, or something similar. Yet, you seemed to be taking it quite well. Resolve is one of his favorite qualities in a person.

He's always around to make sure nobody gives you a hard time for something out of your control -- something so inconsequential, at that. The last thing he wants is for you to feel embarrassed about it. If anyone so much as snickers, they will meet his blade.

When you're frustrated by not being able to sleep, he tells you that fire is important, but it will be better spent elsewhere. He settles you back down, tucks you in, and will usually either read to you or recount stories from his time as a true knight for you. By this point, you've probably heard all of them, but he still hopes they soothe you.

Tw: typical dbd violence, mentions of cannibalism, parental abuse mentioned(Hillbilly and Bubba), transphobia.

Wraith:

Oh okay.

He’s a bit confused but it doesn’t bother him as much.

He’ll just continue with the trial as usual but would give you the hatch.

Finds it cute when you try to talk him out of it every trial.

Usually ends up saying your too pure of heart.

Has told you on multiple occasions that he would stop if he could. It’s just a ghost haunting him.

Every damn time you would pull him into a hug telling him it doesn’t have to be like that.

He almost cries when you do this. Your just too sweet.

He would become more defiant to the Entity.

Practically protects you with his life. He won’t let anything happen to his sweet boy.

If someone was being transphobic towards you they will be missing a spine.

He has and will always be there for you. You mean too much to him to let you be upset.

He loves you with all his heart. You showed a side to him he thought was lost long ago.

Hillbilly:

Someone actually showing genuine concern for him? He’s never had that happen before.

Seriously he literally melts from just you showing concern and trying to get him to change.

He’ll just let you ramble to him about how he could be a good person.

He always pats you on the head and walks off.

Even if he wanted to turn a new leaf he couldn’t exactly communicate that to you. He doesn’t know exactly how to speak because of the neglect and abuse of his parents.

He can only really make noises that sound like words. Lucky for him you were quick to notice what he was trying to say.

With how nice and innocent you are it repulses him to have to hurt you. He honestly doesn’t want to so he saves you for last to make it less painful.

He lets you go when he can.

Every time he does let you he sees you smile and lets you ramble about how you could let all of them go next time.

He never does let all of you go. He can’t take the beating the entity would give him.

If someone is being transphobic they will be horrifically dismembered.

One time you were trying to talk sense into him and a survivor yelled slurs at you from afar.

Yeah they didn’t last long he will protect with all his heart. It’s his only way to show that he cares without being sucked into the void.

Bubba:

He’s incredibly confused.

Remember he was raised into believing that it was normal to eat people.

After awhile of you trying to talk him out of it he gets a bit weary. He truly takes your words to heart.

Remember how he treats Stretch in tcm2? He treats you very similar.

He’s kind to you and tries to keep you being alive low key. It doesn’t work at all but come on he’s trying! :(

He gives you a hug every time you try to talk him out of it.

He can’t communicate properly at all. He can only make a mess of noises and squeals.

He considers the two of you close and bring you gifts! Isn’t that lovely?

The gift was makeup, it makes him happy why wouldn’t you make happy?

You tried to explain to him. He does kind of understand what your saying just very loosely.

He just saw you become really uncomfortable when someone was calling you a girl.

It’s chainsaw time baby! He swung it like his life depends on it.

At the end of the day he wants to change for you because he cares about you. He just can’t change due to circumstances.

Hi! Could i request Ace, Dwight, Deathslinger, Wraith and Spirit with an opposite role reader, whose life before the fog is almost identical to theirs, except for places, names and the outcome? Doesn't really matter if it's romantic or platonic, i'll take anythingggg

Dwight Fairfield:

Dwight, honestly, was utterly shocked when he found out you were…normal before you were a killer. No, he knows most killers were relatively normal before they were taken here — but you were normal like he was normal. You worked an office job and had dismissive coworkers. You had to go to office parties where no one talked to you. No wonder you wanted to kill people. But in all honesty — he feels strangely comfortable with you. You’re someone he can relate to, there’s no one else really similar to him here, everyone else is far too interesting. He finds it a bit funny to try to chat with you like you’re both standing around the water cooler…even if he’s afraid it might get him killed for bringing back old memories.

Ace Visconti:

Honestly, Ace can totally see how gambling lead to murder. He had his fair share of threats of knee-breaking, he knows at some point, someone in the same boat as him would’ve turned to murder to solve their problems. That’s not for him, but hey, each to their own. He’s more interested in sharing trade secrets with a fellow gambler, likelihoods, percentages, even ways to cheat. Even if he can’t exactly gamble as easily in the fog, it’s still his passion, and now he has you to share it with. Sometimes he likes to make little bets with you during your trials together, typically gambling with his life. He knows you enjoy a good game as much as he does.

Philip Ojomo / The Wraith:

After learning you had gone through exactly what he’s been through, Philip could never bring himself to kill or even hurt you. He’d heard your story from another survivor under their breath, when he was skulking around behind them. He wasn’t sure what to do with the information, and he began avoiding you where he could so he didn’t have to hurt you. Plausible deniability, if he never saw you, he couldn’t very well sacrifice you. Sometimes, you caught his eyes while he was injuring or downing someone else, and you could tell he knew something about you — and you could tell that you had his sympathy. It takes him a while to want to get closer to you, but you know he loves you. You know he always feels safe around you.

Rin Yamaoka / The Spirit:

Rin is not known for getting very close to other killers, let alone any of the survivors. She keeps to herself. She had heard your story from another killer — you were just like her. You were bullied and disdained by your family, too. She was never sure, exactly, how to approach you. She knows you're probably just as upset and angry as she is all the time, and she knows she doesn't like being approached. For a while, she just left you notes where she knew you'd see them, saying the two of you are kindred spirits, you're one in the same and she understands your pain. She seemed very happy when you came to her after exchanging notes to get to know her better.

Caleb Quinn / The Deathslinger:

When Caleb hears that you were just like him before you were taken, a rough-and-tumble bounty hunter, he knows the two of you will get along perfectly. He had never paid you much attention before, but knowing you had lived a life of crime just like he did, and had someone you hated more than anything…he felt a sense of obligation to get to know you. He’s missed his posse for a long time, and you’re the first step to getting something like that back. He constantly sought you out and told you that you were welcome to come with him on his hunts. You two are almost never seen apart, always lounging around together and ranting about your arch-nemeses. He wouldn’t have it any other way.
