Graham Coxon Allegations Masterpost

LINKS TO EVERYTHING ARE BELOW

This is a masterpost of the accusations around Graham and how they came to be. In late Oct/November of 2021 an account with the handle @/britpopabuse showed up on Instagram. The account posted screenshots from a gossip message board about celebrities and several mentioned Graham Coxon as someone they had known as publicly cheating on his wife and kid. Another user claimed that she had been in a relationship with him at one point. Another claim posted separately by coxonexpose, that is less verified, alleged that SA happened between her and Graham.

In each part are videos, images, that were shared with the Blur fandom by whistleblowers (blurhatesme, and Britpopabuse), and any relevant information/context. For legal reasons I will be referring to everything as "allegations."

The Red Devil's Chronicles: Devil May Cry April - August 2024 News Updates: Collabs, Netflix, etc.

Hey, how's it going? Hope you're all having a good and safe summer. I meant to share these updates last month, but things got real busy. Here are the Devil May Cry updates I've gathered these past few months:

1. Capcom voting session gives results for what fans voted for. b) Devil May Cry V and Dante hit #1 on most popular things from Capcom.

2. Speaking of DMCV, it has reached over 8 million copies sold!

3. Another Devil May Cry event at the Capcom Cafe. b) More info.

4. Dante trending greatly again on Twitter/X.

5. Capcom making changes to their localization policies. b) And they have no plans of getting rid of physical media.

6. More Peak of Combat troubles. b) And more. c) Trish added to Peak of Combat.

7. Devil May Cry cast reunion.

8. Teppen gets another card pack update, featuring Nero.

9. New Street Fighter Duel X DMCV mobile game.

10. Rumours of Devil May Cry appearing in Fortnite still continue.

11. Either a new trailer or Season 1 of the Devil May Cry Netflix series will be airing this September.

My Thoughts On These Updates: 1. Really cool how one of my most favourite games, along with my most favourite fictional character make it to the top. 2. Big congratz to Capcom for having DMCV sell over 8 million.

3. Really wish that the west can have cafe events like Japan does.

4. Awesome to see Dante temporarily trending again.

5. I understand that Capcom's trying to appeal to certain audiences when it comes to cutural differences, but they need to realize that it's not what their fans want at all. If anything, it just ruins the charm of whatever they've created from the start. On the plus side, it's great that they're not gonna get rid of their physical media. I'd rather physically have (and collect) games from my favourite series.

6. Just when things couldn't get any worse for Peak of Combat.... Congrats to Suzie for voicing as Trish, but I really worry for her. Every voice actor that's participated in Peak of Combat have been scammed. And what bothers me and other Devil May Cry fans as well are those that keep getting sucked into some gambling scheme, and are oblivious to what sick and twisted things are happening behind the scenes. It's strange how people lose their minds over how Ninja Theory treated their fans in a disrespectful manner while no one bats an eye on what Nebula Joy's been doing. It's also strange how Capcom was quick to take action on the old vocalist for Dante's Subhuman song, but they're not doing anything about whatever Nebula Joy's doing. Good news is that they are doing an investigation, so hopefully this whole mess will finally be put to a halt.

7. Cool to see the cast together.

8. Interesting how Teppen keeps updating with more Devil May Cry stuff. And a nice twist to add some Dead Rising characters in there as a way of celebrating their remaster.

9. Another mobile card game with Devil May Cry characters? Oh, my.

10. I'm not really a fan of Fortnite, but it's cool to see all these random characters become available. As cool as it would be to see Dante or any other Devil May Cry character in this game, at the same time I just find it strange and....cringe....Apologies for sounding negative, but I just don't really care for Fortnite.

11. I was wondering when we'd get more stuff happening with the Netflix series!

Okay, that was a *huge* drop of animated movie news from the Mouse House...

The takeaways...

MOANA 2, previously being developed a Disney+ series, is WDAS' 63rd film. Opening November 27, 2024.

ZOOTOPIA 2 is being released in 2025. No concrete date.

TOY STORY 5 and FROZEN III are being released in 2026. Again, no concrete dates for these, either. ELIO stays where it is.

So... My questions:

Walt Disney Animation Studios opened a unit in Vancouver to make Disney+ shows, MOANA 2 - when it was a series - was the one project that was announced as theirs. With Disney looking to lay off Pixar staff who were involved with that studio's Disney+ projects, following the losses that streaming is accumulating for big bad Disney, my concern is... What happens with this studio? Does it get closed down like Pixar Canada was back in 2013? Or do they continue, and function similarly to the Orlando unit that Walt Disney Feature Animation opened in 1989 but closed down in 2003? Before shutdown, WDFA-Florida went from making shorts and helping out on movies to graduating. They were making features on their own by the end of the 1990s, making three total: MULAN, LILO & STITCH, and BROTHER BEAR. They had a fourth film deep in development - A FEW GOOD GHOSTS - before the wing was closed down.

It appears I might have an answer here. These screenshots imply that WDAS-Vancouver is making MOANA 2. Or it's a co-production of sorts (hat-tip NCLuke1024 on twitter for these):

Since WDAS' slate is gummed up with three sequels, all opening one year after another, I think it'd be smart to have that second studio stay open so they could possibly get both one of those sequels and an original movie out in the same calendar year. Speaking of which...

ZOOTOPIA 2 and FROZEN III were not given concrete dates. Currently, WDAS has the dates 11/26/2025 and 11/25/2026 locked. Would this mean three sequels in a row for them? MOANA 2, ZOOTOPIA 2, FROZEN III... Hmmmm, that would be a little too much... Like, why can't WDAS slot an original movie for like spring 2025 so that ZOOTOPIA 2 can get that Thanksgiving slot? They'd have to have the staff and resources for that, though... Again, what's up with the Vancouver house? What's going on with Suzi Yoonessi's movie? Josie Trinidad's movie? Marc Smith is hinted to be FROZEN III's director, if so, then that answers that question. I bet FROZEN III, given that the first two were Thanksgiving movies and have a very cold word as their title, is the 11/25/2026 movie. Pixar has March and June 2026 locked. Speaking of which...

UPDATE 6:28 PM EST: Answered a half-hour later, ZOOTOPIA 2 is in fact the Thanksgiving 2025 movie... Welp, we'll see where the next original lands, then.

TOY STORY 5 having no concrete date. Since TOY STORY 3, TOY STORY has been a summer thing. I'd imagine Pixar uses the March slot for an original, like they did in 2022 for TURNING RED (summer 2022 was LIGHTYEAR, TOY STORY spin-off), and 2020 for ONWARD.

TIANA... Hey, remember when Disney announced that a PRINCESS AND THE FROG Disney+ series was being developed? This was announced at their investor day event in December 2020, alongside the MOANA Series Now Movie, IWAJU, ZOOTOPIA+, and BAYMAX!

And now... Well, BAYMAX! came out first, then ZOOTOPIA+. IWAJU is out later this month, that was animated elsewhere, at Cinesite. MOANA The Series is now a feature film coming out this year... Where does this leave TIANA? Will that be reworked into something? Given that Disney is seemingly pulling back on original animated stuff for Disney+ following the burst of the streaming bubble... I'd imagine TIANA either gets cancelled, or turned into... Something.

A feature film sequel? Doubt it, WDAS does not have a functioning 2D unit at the moment for that. It'd have to be made elsewhere, like a Duncan Studio-type place. Though that would be weird, a new WDAS 2D movie *not* made at WDAS. I can't see it being made as a CGI movie, or a stylized PAPERMAN or WISH-esque movie, for consistency sake. Then again... Look at how DreamWorks went ham on the storybook painted look of PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH, in comparison to the hyper-realistic and super-detailed first PUSS IN BOOTS movie + the rest of the SHREKs... Possible... But we'll see. I'd like to see the project go somewhere. More PRINCESS AND THE FROG is what I'd like. We've got the new ride coming, but I'd also like to see other stuff. They were mum on it today, so... Again, I'll keep my eyes on it. I'd be overjoyed if it was reworked into a feature, but, ya know...

Coincidentally that makes two former TV shows that are follow-ups to Disney animated movies directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, who left the studio a while ago and were pursuing a METAL MAN movie at Warner Bros. Pictures Animation. Not sure where that's at now. Anyways, would love to know what happens with this series...

It was early 2022 when I got to the Josh sitcom on my list of things to watch. I watched all three seasons in a few days, and it was exactly what I’d expected it to be: an extremely sitcom-y sitcom. A weirdly sitcom-y sitcom, in this day and age (or even the day and age when it was made, which was 2015-2017). It had all the sitcom tropes. It had sitcom plots where everything resets at the end. It had formulaic jokes and scripts. It was mildly amusing. It was quite endearing in the way that most things Josh Widdicombe does are. It had three main actors who were not particularly great at acting, but weren’t (usually) comically terrible at it. It was incredibly average. Sometimes it was funny. Josh Widdicombe sure did write a sitcom. It seemed like he watched every sitcom in existence (which, according to the way he talks about himself, he has in fact done) and distilled all the little bits of their essence into eighteen episodes. I had a good time while watching it.

I did have a really long, detailed post going at the time, which I updated about eight times as I watched new episodes, in which I kept track of all the cameos in it. I think that ended up being my favourite part of the show – seeing all the comedians who’d just wander in for an episode. It started with Mike Wozniak in episode 1, with a full beard, and seeing that when I wasn’t expecting him to be in the show at all was quite a shock. So I made a post about how weird that was. And then I updated it when the second episode started with James Acaster just sitting on Josh’s couch.

It kept going from there. Every episode had at least one new stand-up comedian in its lineup, sometimes two or three. I was going to find my old post and link to it, but as I’ve recently said I often cringe at the thought of things I might have said more than five seconds ago, so let’s not do that (I’m pretty sure I spelled Elis’ name as Ellis every time I wrote it, I figured out about halfway through 2022 that his name only had one L and realized I’d been spelling it wrong for ages).

So instead of going back to my post where I had screenshots of all these guest stars, I’ll just go to IMDB so I can list them: Mike Wozniak, James Acaster, Tom Allen, Cariad Lloyd, Jennifer Fucking Saunders (playing a character who was the mother of the main character who was played by her real-life daughter), both other guys from Three Bean Salad (Henry Paker and Benjamin Partridge, whom I didn’t recognize at the time but now do off IMDB), both people from Lazy Susan (Celeste Dring and Freya Parker, whom I also did not recognize at the time), Miles Jupp, Lolly Adefope, Felicity Ward, Mike Bubbins, Suzi Ruffell, Romesh Ranganathan, Ellie Taylor, Celia Pacquola. That’s not counting the comedians in the main cast (Josh Widdicombe, Elis James, Beattie Edmondson, Jack Dee) – those are all people who turned up for one episode each, except for Wozniak in two and Saunders in three. That is a lot of cameos from comedians to pack into 18 episodes.

This makes it extra funny to me as I listen to the John Robins and Elis James radio shows from that time, and listen to John Robins continually notice the same thing. Before the show started airing he got in some run-of-the-mill jabs about Elis swanning off to be a successful TV actor while John can’t even get verified on Twitter, but after it started airing, the complaints quickly turned to the more specific issue of why they have cast every fucking comedian in Britain in at least one role except for John Robins. A complaint that’s funnier to me because I have seen the show and can confirm that it is true. I even made a whole long post about it at the time, explaining that I’d stopped looking at the show’s IMDB page while watching because I considered IMDB to be a spoiler, since the most fun part of the show was trying to guess which comedian would suddenly turn up next. It did not, at the time, occur to me to wonder what it would be like to watch this as the one comedian in Britain who didn't get a cameo role despite being in a double act with one of the three main actors.

I have enjoyed listening to John Robins get increasingly petty and annoyed about this on the radio, and I was going to cut out some examples, but then I went on YouTube and found that someone else has already done it for me. Has helpfully collated clips of all the chats about the Josh Widdicombe sitcom to happen across several years of radio episodes.

I haven't actually heard everything in this YouTube video yet. I'm currently on episode 120, in mid-2016. I skimmed the video and found that I think the most recent clip I've heard from that video is about halfway through it, when they've just started filming season 2 and John keeps asking if he'll have a cameo in it and Elis tries to deflect with an extended joke about how John can only have a role if he's okay with doing naked fencing, and John plays along for a minute or so before saying, okay, but seriously, have you seen the entire script and do I get a role? And Elis says I have and you don't and then they immediately cut, which is great comic timing on the podcast editor's part. I'm quite pleased that that clip is only halfway through the YouTube video, suggesting that there is plenty more awkward chat along these lines coming up in episodes I haven't heard yet.

Joyce and Lucas - Lucas is just better prepared here. He's got several devices going, he's got multiple codes from friends who don't care and his parents. Joyce is just less prepared.

Erica and Steve - Erica is fully determined similar to Lucas, except she's also watching Twitter and all the updates to know which show she's going to have the best luck at. Steve is just planning on splurging on resale tickets as it gets closer before he realizes how insanely priced they are.

Dustin and Mike - This one is easy. Dustin has Suzie. She's reading the Ticketmaster code and she's telling him when to refresh.

Round 1 B

Argyle and Nancy - Argyle is operating on vibes to get him through this process, while Nancy has a multistep plan.

Eddie and Eleven - Eleven has a determination that is not to be messed with. I see her having more success than Eddie.

Murray and Jonathan - Murray does not believe in posting his credit card information online, so Jonathan wins this one by default.

Hopper and Will - Will is one resourceful little guy. He survived a week in the Upside Down. I think I like his chances over Hopper.

Round 2 A

Max and Lucas - So I actually think they are probably working together on this one, but Max has more boosts and gets in faster.

Erica and Dustin - As helpful as Suzie is, Erica doesn't need someone relaying the important information back to her and she's able to get through to the ticket page quicker.

Round 2 B

Nancy and Eleven - As determined as Eleven is, I think Nancy is just better prepared and scrapes by.

Will and Jonathan - Jonathan was really only trying for Will, Eleven, and Nancy so after being stuck in the queue for a hour he gives up,

Round 3 A

Max and Erica - I think Erica's resources bring her out on top in this one.

Round 3 B

Will and Nancy - I think that Nancy was more prepared leading up to the sale than Will was.

Erica and Nancy - As prepared as Nancy is, Erica is the one watching Twitter, the queue notes, etc. I think Erica just beats Nancy into the queue to buy tickets before it sells out.

December Wrap Up

Wow. It has been a whole twelve months since we have started this blog and now we are on the final, official post of the year! A mega-post compiling the top songs of the past year, as well as official departures and disbandments of groups from 2019, will be up on our main blog @kpopsunbae​ (make sure to go and follow us there for more content, although it will be quite a bit different than what we put on this blog). 

As some of you may know, this blog (as well as the previous one, @kpopotd​) are project blogs that end once the year is done. This means that while we will no longer post on this blog it will remain as an archive. We will however be back with a third blog in the future as a continuation of this blog (it will cover 2016 and onwards!). This does not mean that we will go completely off grid once 2019 is done though! 

This coming year of 2020 has a lot in store for us, your K-Pop Sunbaes! We currently have a website to overhaul, an Instagram to properly launch, and of course we will continue releasing podcast episodes! Remember to follow us on Twitter too, our handle there is @kpopsunbaes (updates will be on there and you can interact with us too!). 

On a final note, we are so appreciative for the love that you all have given this blog over the past year. It has been such a fun experience and the three of us have had a blast working together on the blog, having meetings, and eventually completing just under 900 posts. We hope you will continue to support and follow us in our upcoming endeavors. We wish you all a very Happy New Year!

December 5, 2010: Lee Young-hee, a well-known social activist, dies of cirrhosis at 81. December 20, 2010: The Republic of Korea Marine Corps stars to hold live-fire drill exercises on Yeonpyeong Island. North Korea responds by saying they will not retaliate.

December 12, 2011: An incident occurs where a Chinese fisherman, who was illegally fishing, is confronted by two SK coast guards. He stabbed them and one died from the injuries. The fisherman was sentenced to thirty years in jail and a fine in April of 2012. December 19, 2012: The 2012 presidential elections were held in which Park Geun Hye is elected as the first female president of South Korea. She would eventually be impeached and removed from office due to corruption in 2017.

December 2009: Father’s House (This show was a year end special that brought in over 15% viewership ratings and garnered generally good reviews. It stars Choi Min Soo, Moon Jung Hee, and Kim Soo Hyun.)  December 2009: Will it Snow for Christmas (This melodrama brought in around 10% viewership ratings. It stars Go Soo and Han Ye Seul.)

December 2010: Athena: Goddess of War (This action/spy drama is a spin off of the hit show IRIS. It’s in the same universe as IRIS, but stars Joo Woo Sung, Cha Seung Won, Soo Ae, Lee Ji Ah, and Super Junior’s Choi Siwon. IRIS’s cast also made cameos throughout. It averaged around 15% viewership ratings.) December 2011: What’s Up? (This musical drama stars Lim Joo Hwan, BIGBANG’s Daesung, Lim Joo Eun, Kim Ji Won, and Jo Jung Suk.)  December 2011: Vampire Idol (This sitcom style drama stars Lee Jung, Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung, Lee Soo Hyuk, Kim Woo Bin, and Hong Jung Hyun. There are also a couple idols as supporting characters including ZE:A’s Kwanghee and Girl’s Day Bang Minah.) 

December 2012: School 2013 (This is the fifth installment of the popular “School” drama series. This iteration stars Jang Nara, Choi Daniel, Lee Jong Suk, Park Se Young, and Kim Woo Bin. It did pretty well, bringing in over 10% viewership ratings.) December 2013: Prime Minister and I (This 17 episode drama stars Lee Beom Soo and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA. The main OST is a song called “Footsteps” sung by SHINee’s Taemin. The show brought in over 5% viewership ratings and won two awards: the Best Couple Award for the main characters and an Excellence in Acting Award for YoonA.) December 2013: You Who Came From the Stars/My Love from the Star (This hit romance/fantasy drama stars megastars Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun. The duo had previously acted together in the movie The Thieves. Dal Shabet’s Serri and Subin, former miss A member Suzy, and former 2NE1 member Dara make cameos throughout. Lyn, K. Will, Younha, Hyorin, Huh Gak, Sung Si Kyung, and Kim Soo Hyun all participated in the OSTs. The show did incredibly well and ended up selling out products that the characters wore, being the highest rated drama of it’s time (not only in South Korea but throughout Asia), and bringing in over 20% viewership ratings.) 

December 2014: Healer (This action drama stars Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young. The show averaged around 7% viewership ratings, but while it only did moderately well in South Korea it boosted Ji’s international fandom immensely.)  December 2015: Remember- War of the Son (This thriller stars Yoo Seung Ho, Park Woo Sung, Park Min Young, Min Namkoong, and Jung Hye Sung. K. Will, Jooyoung, Jang Jane, Jang Han Byul, and Bobby Kim participated in the OSTs. It averaged around 15% viewership ratings, and won a few awards at multiple award shows.

FILMS:

December 23, 2009: Jeon Woo Chi: The Taoist Wizard (This fantasy/action film stars Gang Dong Won, Im Soo Jung, and Kim Yoo Seok. A 2012 K-drama spin-off was made with the same main character played by Cha Tae Hyun, although the rest of the show’s plot was different. It was the third best selling movie of the year.)  December 9, 2010: Finding Mr. Destiny (This movie adaption of the musical of the same name, stars Gong Yoo and Im Soo Jung. It did well at the box office, bringing over a million admissions.)  December 1, 2011: Spellbound/Chilling Romance/My Girlfriend Can See Ghosts (This rom-com stars Son Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki. It was the 7th biggest movie of the year.) December 25, 2012: The Tower (This disaster movie stars Sol Kyung-gu, Ki Sang-gyung, and Son Ye-jin. The movie did very well at the box office and become the first movie of 2013 to hit five million theater admissions. It was sold to multiple countries and eventually got an English dub with voice actors such as Buba Kachow, Erin Fitzgerald, and Todd Haberkorn.)

December 11, 2013: Way Back Home (This movie, which is based on the true story of Jang Mi Jeong, stars Jeon Do Yeon and Go Soo. It follows the story of a woman who unknowingly attempted to smuggle drugs out of Paris and is caught, and how she eventually got back to Korea. It did fairly well, bringing in just under two million theater admissions.)  December 18, 2013: The Attorney (This law drama, which was inspired by a true story, stars Song Kang Ho, Kim Young Ae, Oh Dal Soo, ZE:A’s Im Si Wan, and Kwak Do Won. It became the 8th best-selling movie in Korea of all time with over 11 million admissions. It won many awards at various award shows.)  December 24, 2013: The Suspect (This action/thriller starring Gong Yoo was a box office hit, bringing in over 4 million admissions. It received praise from various western newspapers and reviewers.) December 31, 2014: The Tenor - Lirico Sprinto (This movie, which is based on the true story of Bae Jae Chul, stars Yoo Ji Tae, Yusuke Iseya, and Cha Ye Ryun. The movie took eighteen months to film and six years to fully complete.)

HAPPY STUFF:

December 12, 2012: Sungah was added to the line-up of Nine Muses. Her first comeback with them would be with “Dolls”.

SAD STUFF:

December 21, 2009: Hangeng leaves Super Junior and files a lawsuit against SM Entertainment. December 11, 2009: Inyoung and Jungah leave Jewelry to pursue solo careers.

December 24, 2012: Trinity leaves GLAM.  December 21, 2013: Sohee leaves Wonder Girls to focus on her acting career.

December 2014: Sunye leaves Wonder Girls and says she will retire from the industry.  December 31, 2014: Jooyeon contract with Pledis Entertainment ends and she graduates from After School the following year.

December 12, 2013: Singer Kim Ji Hoon, half of the duo Duke, passes away due to suicide at age 40.
