That part in The Bad Batch, when Tech meets TAY-0 for the first time? Something really stuck out to me. When TAY-0 challenges him, Tech simply responds with “I do not have enough information about this sport to determine that at this time.” He basically says “I don’t know enough to make an educated response.” A lot of times I’ll see my neurotypical friends responding to stuff like this with false confidence, maybe a comeback or two. But all of my autistic friends would respond exactly like this. That they simply do not have enough information at the moment to make an educated response. It’s honestly the same response I would give. I don’t really know where I was going with this, but it’s a fun thing I noticed. He’s not one to get into a conflict or give an opinion until he feels he’s been properly informed on the subject.

I try to be eloquent but the hour is late. All I wanna say is that Kallus has the same vibe as Brennan Lee Mulligan's "Do you think i fuck around?"
Like, I think Kallus contained himself so well while working in the Empire but this is truly the vibe he gives me:

Day 9: Nest
Inspired by Exile by @coldishcase
•••
With the prompting, he is shaken from his trance. He likewise, sheds his boots and outer layers, only bringing his cape in with him.
He attempts to lay down a little separate from the two of them, only for Obi-Wan to reach out and tug him closer. Again, he wonders if this behavior is an indication that Obi-Wan still considers him family, or if he is being courted. He wishes he had the nerve to ask.
With the insistence that he join the little family in their nest, he curls close to them, keeping Luke safe and guarded between himself and Obi-Wan’s bodies. He drapes the cape over all three of them, letting the temperature-controlling fabric of it keep them all from getting too hot or too cold throughout the night.

Everybody here with the absolutely freezing takes that Tech only raced because he had to, to appease Omega, and hated it
Like you’re just wrong full stop, that smug motherfucker was getting an adrenaline rush comparatively risk free to the rest of his lifestyle, getting to put his own strategy into play in something he’s interested enough in to properly analyze, proving his siblings (and TAY-0) wrong, and doing it with a crowd of thousands cheering for him.
That man was having fun, winning unconventionally with a brilliant strategy, and showing off all the while. He’s not loud about it, but come on. That little wave he does says it all

“It’s called strategy.”
“No, it’s called losing.”
That was kind of funny because that’s my strategy when I used to play racing video games. Like if I’m racing on a new track, the first lap is to get my bearings and the next two are to implement strategy and win. And if it’s the kind of game where you can be attacked by the other racers, being in last place at first can help you not get killed while everyone else kills each other.
Also, ditching his weapons for speed was great because attacking the other racers wasn’t part of his strategy. Again with racing games, for me it’s way more productive to focus on winning with speed and strategy than by trying to take out the other racers.
I see you, Tech. I knew what you were doing.
