To make you feel better, this is my offering!

Climbing to the top of the stairs next to Bubu pharmacy you sit near the edge of the cliff quietly waiting with your lantern for the fireworks to finally set off. You hear somebody behind you, but it wasn’t rustling that you heard, it was purring, purring from your favourite person but in a bigger, fluffier form. He sat down a bit further behind from you so that people couldn’t see him from down below. You move back a bit to nussle into his side, his warm fluff and purring soothed you on this cold airy night. As the fireworks lit the sky with a stunning array of red, oranges, yellows.

As all of the lanterns light up liyue, and gently raise into the sky, you hold one of legacy’s hand and the other helps you lift your own lantern into the sky.

A new beginning for a new year to come. One that hopefully keeps your Ajax and legacy beside you.

ohhh my goodness after you release the lantern, you lean back against Foul Legacy's chest, his arms coming to wrap around you. with one smooth motion he whirls you around so you're facing him, looking at you with a world's worth of love and adoration in his crystalline eye before leaning in and nudging his forehead against yours. with a kind laugh you reach to cup his face in your hands, cooing at the way he melts into your touch. no one notices- Lantern Rite is too big of an occasion, so you take your time scratching underneath Foul Legacy's chin and behind his horns, listening to his blissful purrs and smoothing down his fluffy ginger hair

it's getting late, and you yawn tiredly. with a croon Foul Legacy scoops you into his arms, wings fluttering open to bring you back home. he lands on the roof, looking upwards towards the sky blooming with colors, and you snuggle closer to admire the numerous lanterns floating on air, only to sneeze at the chilled night. Foul Legacy whines, bumping his head against your cheek, and you turn to place a small kiss met with a flustered yelp. he ducks his head, hiding his face in the crook of your neck, cheeks burning, and you burst into delighted laughter, petting his hair

I was reading the Orphic Argonautica last night and the author has mentioned the various methods of divination Apollo knows and guess what? One of them is prophesying by studying the entrails of organisms. As soon as I read that I was reminded of your headcanon of Apollo being into hepatoscopy for divination and I giggled.

Hehe, so fun fact, the overall practice of divination by studying the entrails of animals (including blood, lungs, intestines and so forth) is extispicy while hepatoscopy is specifically using the liver in prophecy and divination readings.

If, like magic in old text exactly like the sort Medea is described as using, the types of divination spoken about in the texts are reflections of the popular divination cultures of the time, I much rather prefer ascribing those to Apollo than I do some vague, somewhat mysterious power which he uses to see the will of the fates, especially since it's mentioned a few times that he'll teach his sons the language of the birds and how to read their signs and so on and so forth.

In short: HEPATOSCOPY APOLLO IS COOL!! HE'S SO NEAT!! Apollo at the altar who predicts the coming droughts and famines from the entrails of his flock!! It's just such a neat little image (to me)!

Also the Orphic Argonautica bangs, genuinely I hope you enjoy it! Orpheus is an insane man and I do not think him along with the collective subspecies of mythical man known as 'sons of Apollo' get enough credit for how truly unhinged they are at any given point in time.

The Suguru drabble is just so warm, so cosy so welcoming as I bet Suguru's hoodie feels like. It's so comforting, so much love and tenderness just wrapped up in words that I can't even fully describe how much I adore it!

I'll always admire just how well you implant emotions and feelings into your writing, how well you can make us envision the sights and feel sensations, to implant ourselves into the scenario you've created.

It's really something that I'll probably keep coming back to whenever I don't feel well.

here comes a list of the different levels of friends that you can be with barton, because i said that i would explain what being a ' level 2 friend ' to him would mean and i fully intend to keep that promise! so here we gooo.

level 1 friends: you're the type of friend to barton that he would wave to whenever he sees you. he would also complain about his work with you, but NEVER about his second 'business.' ( his organ trafficking && dollmaking. ) and in turn, he would let you complain about your work to him as well, or anything that might be bothering you. barton isn't really serious about your relationship emotionally, but he will encourage you and praise you for accomplishments / achievements. you two also may share a few interests, which barton enjoys talking with you about.

level 2 friends: you're the type of friend to barton that he is now moderately emotionally invested in. barton will DEFINITELY share his number with you at this stage, so expect him to call you if he needs something, or even if he just wants to talk with you. he also trusts you to a medium level and will help you reach your goals without ever being asked for it. barton does subconsciously have the expectation that you are willing to do the same for him, however, which is really neither a good thing nor a bad thing. you two go beyond just having similar interests... you share certain values with him and/or ideals, and because of that, barton sees you as someone he can depend upon. he would also save you in an emergency situation, BUT i can not say for sure that he will be willing to die for you.

level 3 friends: barton is now FULLY emotionally invested in you, so don't expect to be getting rid of him anytime soon! because you're stuck with him now, MUAHAHAH. barton will do things like raising a toast to you just because you're friends and will reach out to you himself whenever he sees that you're struggling with something. barton also lets you take a glimpse at what's really going on in his head sometimes, and in return, he'll be there for you as well whenever you need him. at this stage, literally, all you need to do is be around barton to make him smile. expect him to feel safe enough to be as silly as he wants around you and do things like give you unprompted hugs + allow you to cuddle with him. barton trusts you with his life, and he would put himself at risk of dying to protect you. so, yes, he would be willing to die for you.

my whole life i had to explain to people where im from cuz slovenia is so tiny it barely gets noticed, unless you're really into sports or something. eurovision month has made me really happy and proud to be slovenian and that other people started appreciating the language and whatnot, so thank you joker out for putting us on the map and thank you bojan for doing it with a finnish/slovenian gay love story, wouldnt want it any other way
