Do you use bookmarks? I don’t, usually. 😱😱 Now let me be clear, I DON’T DOGEAR. I’m not a monster, I just typically use whatever receipt or gum wrapper I find closest to me when I need to set my book down. The strangest part is that I adore bookmarks. I have so many in a variety of styles, they just happen to stay in their collection while I use random scraps of paper to do their job . • • This amazing Hogwarts House bookmark is from @sweetsequels. I got surprise #bookmail today!! So thank you @owlcrate! First off the book is #RoseBlood by #AGHoward. It's a modern Phantom of the Opera retelling, which is pretty cool, though I know nothing about Phantom of the Opera. We got a tea, a mint and rose tea!! It's from #FirstEditionTeaCo and it's inspired by The Little Prince. I love teas, so I'm happy. Then there's a little soap from #TeaSoapBooks and it is inspired by The Secret Garden, which is one of the few classics I've read and probably my favorite. Next, we have an *absolutely* beautiful watercolor bookmark with a Slaughterhouse Five quote made by #LexyOlivia. Seriously it's so pretty. There's a sweet Phantom of the Opera magnet from #SweetSequels. I think it's so cute. And it's already stuck to my filing cabinet. Finally, there is an *awesome* 2017 calendar designed by #ObviousState and I love it so much. “Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again.” This is the opening line to my favorite novel, #rebeccabydaphnedumaurier When I saw this beautiful book protector by @sweetsequels featuring Manderley and #daphnedumauriernovels I knew I needed one. I truly needed it, y’all! 🤓 The quality of the book sleeve is much better than I expected. It’s thick, and I love that it features Manderley on one side and a book stack on the back. Today it’s holding the Daphne’s Omnibus, a collection of her novels. Her signature is embossed in gold foil on the cover. I don’t have the original book jacket.
