Ginger Rogers reportedly danced until her feet bled during rehearsals for the "Never Gonna Dance" sequence in Swing Time (1936). The demanding routine, involving twirling and ascending stairs, took 47 takes to perfect, leading to bleeding feet by the end of the day.
