any advice about drugs that positions alcohol as "less bad" than "hard drugs" is terrible advice.

in terms of substances that different cultures around the world commonly use to get high, alcohol is probably one of the most harmful things you could possibly consume, ANY amount of alcohol consumption is carcinogenic, neurotoxic, cardiotoxic, livertoxic, etc etc, its literally poison. you are putting something that affects and destroys almost all living things on a cellular level into your body.

this is an okay thing to do. but PLEASE recognize that getting drunk is synonymous with poisoning yourself. i repeat: there is no safe level of alcohol consumption. understand the harm and weigh what you get out of it against that.

okay so the media seems good, but if its not pushing any boundaries, then this sort of stimuli is a component in the mass opiation of the western world, this is okay to engage with sometimes, but you better watch yourself, cause the internet is becoming much more algorithmic and targeted than it ever has been before, you see it talked about but no one really cares enough.. one of many sweeping arms attached to one of the many seeking machines belonging to one of the world's vilest kings is feeling around for that sweet spot in your mind, researching exactly how to finger your brain in just the right way,

its like a drug, and if you think it doesnt affect you like that, take a break and see what happens.. and if youre still sitting there, thinking to yourself "no this definitely doesnt apply to me": pay attention, theyre trying to make it so it does.

educate yourself on the effects of staring at a screen for hours every day, understand how social media is designed to addict you in the name of "user retention", read through double speak, ask yourself: what does it mean? why do they do it? how does it affect me?), employ harm reduction
