My Europa League Thoughts: 10/22/20

1) I took one look at video of Carlos Vinicius and knew he’d be a great signing for Spurs; he didn’t disappoint on his debut.

2) I think Dani De Wit at AZ Alkmaar is a striker that fits Burnley’s profile perfectly, would add some youth up top, could save their season by scoring some goals...and wouldn’t upset their color palette.

3) Bayer Leverkusen don’t miss Kai Havertz at all.

4) Maccabi Tel Aviv and Qarabag spent 90 minutes kicking the ever-loving paste out of each other when they weren’t shooting.

5) Villareal has a 19-year-old Japanese winger that got a goal and two assists today. He had me at Japanese winger at a Spanish club.

6) I think it’s hilarious that Villareal plays “Highway To Hell” every time they score...don’t judge me.

7) The Premier League isn’t ready for James Maddison to come back into form for Leicester.

8) Celtic vs AC Milan was a tale of two clubs who’ve trended in very different directions in recent years. From this day forth, Celtic vs AC Milan shall be known as “Il Derby a Righe” (The Stripe Derby).

9) Some of the finishing was sensational. Have a look at Hapoel Be’er Sheva vs Slavia Praha, Standard Liège vs Rangers, and PSV Eindhoven vs Granada.

10) Darwin Nuñez at Benfica, remember the name.

Funnily enough, in the original Submas Triplets AU, Melli is one of Kubo’s best friends. Kubo finds him immensely entertaining. Kubo gets genuinely upset about the idea of leaving, and Melli is one of the people who has to convince him to go back to the time he was meant to be.

Ikkaku does really seem different in this flashback, with an active death wish, one that Zaraki has to talk him out of.

You wonder how he got to this place in his life-- Yumichika is right there behind him, and yet he’s out here starting fights with people, seemingly with an intention to die if he loses them. It’s very, very self-destructive behavior.

And in this context, I can see the merits of the Squad 11 ethos. It’s not going to solve all of your problems: our big 3 guys in Squad 11 all still have significant issues with themselves that they need to work out. But it can pull you out of a place of hating yourself, and give you a goal to strive for, and the camaraderie that come with that shared purpose.

My Europa League Thoughts: 11/5

1) In keeping with tradition, Arsenal’s young Gunners have been performing quite well in Europe. Personally, I think I’d like to see them start at the weekend over their more experienced counterparts, see how they do.

2) Oh Qarabag...

3) Take Kubo’s delivery to Carlos Bacca for Villareal’s second was cheeky and exquisite. It was like, “Don’t mind me, I’m not going anywhere...dink! 2-0.” 😉

4) All the players and coaches from Red Star Belgrade owe goalkeeper Milan Borjan a drink at the bar this weekend. 👏🏾

5) There are players playing for the Russian teams that I can’t believe are still playing. Like, some of them were playing in the 2006 World Cup when they were in their mid-to-late 20′s LoL.

6) Robin Van Persie’s smile after Feyenoord scored their third goal warmed my heart. Always remember where you came from.

7) The flopping in some of these games has been downright embarrassing. Watching Dinamo Zagreb vs Wolfsberg felt like watching the first Mighty Ducks movie: “Take the fall, act hurt, get indignant!” Things I wish I’d said when I met him...

8) Jose Mourinho is studying LASK to figure out how to beat Antwerp. LASK beat them with 10 men. 😂

9) Yusef Yazici was RIDICULOUS against AC Milan. Lille have themselves a real talent there.

10) David Silva didn’t move to Real Sociedad to “retire,” he moved to win them a trophy. Have you seen him play??

Shinjuku Destruction Timeline

[ ??? before TWEWY ]

— Hazuki decides to purify Shinjuku and Conductor Matsunae disagrees. Hazuki goes behind the Conductor’s back and contacts the Higher Plane. — Kubo is chosen as the Executor.

[ 1 Year and 10 Months before TWEWY ]

— Kubo descends to Shinjuku and appears to Shiba in a form that is barely comprehensible to him. Kubo promises Shiba a place in the Higher Plane if he becomes Their Executor and purifies Shinjuku. — Shiba is given the power of Dissonance, as well as a sigil that would allow him to summon Plague Noise. — Kubo infultrates the Shinjuku Reapers to keep a close eye on Shiba. He becomes Shiba’s Yes-Man and slowly starts to manipulate his perception of the people around him.

[ 1 Year and 6 Months before TWEWY ]

— Hishima and Kaie break off their friendship with Shiba, sensing something has changed with him. Hishima continues to keep an eye on Shiba, but is not sure what to make of it. — Ayano begins feeling pressured to pick sides, and emotionally withdraws from everyone. Susukichi and Tsugumi resolutely stand by Shiba, though Tsugumi is concerned about him.

[ 11 Months before TWEWY ]

— Shoka Sakurane joins the Shinjuku Reapers and Shiba assigns Ayano to look after her.  — Hishima and Shiba’s friendship has completely fractured. Ayano is now Shiba’s new right hand. — Tsugumi begins investigating the goings-on. Tsugumi is concerned that her brother has been acting odd lately. She reaches out to Coco about it in her letters, neither of them are sure what to make of things. — Tsugumi spends less time around Shiba due to her investigations and Shiba begins to feel even more isolated.

[ 3 Months before TWEWY ]

— Tsugumi, frustrated at a lack of answers, reaches out to Kaie for help. Kaie agrees to help her look for answers, but is unable to determine anything about Shiba. Tsugumi begins to suspect Kubo and shares this with Kaie and Hishima. Neither of them know what to do without hard proof. [ TWEWY, Week 3 ]

— Some people with Red Skull pins that wander into Shinjuku distract nearly everyone. Everyone is basically wondering what the hell is happening in Shibuya.

[ 2 Weeks after TWEWY ]

— Shiba announces to Ayano, Susukichi, and Shoka that he intends to erase and replace the Conductor. He tells them that the discontent they’ve all sensed in Shinjuku is his fault and that he believes the Conductor is going to try to destroy Shinjuku. Shiba asks them to begin rallying Reapers to his side in order to “take back Shinjuku.” — Shiba begins to slowly saturate the UG with Plague Noise.

[ One Month after TWEWY ]

— Shiba leads his “rebellion” against Conductor Matsunae in the middle of a Reapers’ Game. In the chaos of it all, Kubo uses his Dissonance to strip Tsugumi of her Reaper wings, intending on leaving her to die when the Game is officially concluded. — Shiba wins and Shinjuku is inverted.

Kubo, Higher Vibe Frequency.

What if the glowy Composer form is just a higher vibe frequency form? Kubo gets an earthy colour palette from his talking panel backgrounds, colour scheme and intro card. Soul Pulvis gradient was for contrast and a warmer association to their in game colour.

This was just going to be "regular" Kubo with the Soul Pulvis but as I started working on the birds I was like, wait a sec, there was a reason why I thought the birds were Composer related in the demo with their aura and greyscale design.

Since some people can see the Soul Pulvis, maybe it's similar to how lesser Reapers can't perceive the Composer. There could be an Imagination requirement to see the Soul Pulvis which fits for why Rindo, Minamimoto, Beat and Neku can see them. (Rindo's might be because of his pin I don't feel like digging through the SR.)

Does this mean I'll be using this form for Angels? Probably or at least occasionally.
