Alex Turner most likely has synesthesia: a compilation
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“She floats like a niccy rush and stings like a B-flat” (The Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap)
“When you’re experimenting with more genres, it’s so delicate. It’s like a chemistry set: you got like all the boiling tubes and pipettes and you add one or too many drops on the whole thing and it falls apart and you get the wrong colour of the smoke.” (x)
"If desire would be liquid, then it wouldn’t be something you easily sail through, but a rough sea that whirls you around. The rhythm of [Fireside] has those wild motions of desire. If desire is something liquid, it is a rolling boil–like when you’re boiling potatoes." (x)
“That sensation of longing for something or someone, if it were a liquid it’s not something you sail smoothly along in. It’s gotta roll and boil, or it bubbles and coughes and splutters, and I think we wanted the rythm to reflect that in the tune Fireside.” (x)
“I love the color of them shows, [Thunderbirds] and 60′s Batman as well, that technicolor thing. If I could make a song sound like the Joker’s laugh, when it’s all angled and pink... for me it sounds like that, technicolor. [...] I’d love to have drums that sound like that looks.” (x)
“Jamie’s doing a lot of that icy plucking in the background, adding a texture.” (x)
“Alternative Endings was [my idea for a bar name]. [...] You can see that in pink neon light.” (x)
“It was what became a line in a song called 'Aviation'–'The Colorama in your eyes takes me on a moonlight drive'–not completely unremarkable written down but when appropriated by this particular melodic idea and backlit by its chord progression it permitted me to glimpse into what seemed like a new constellation in my imagination, one that every time I heard the demo recording I was encouraged to try and traverse.” (x)
“Franz Schubert the composer said ‘there’s no such thing as happy music’. I always got a kick out of that. Not because I think that music has to be sad but because I think when it most effective there’s an element of it operating within a spectrum that has neither ‘happy’ or 'sad’ at either end of it. Music with lyrics in a language you don’t understand or no lyrics at all has the power to send vehement shivers through your body. It’s almost as if the melody or something else in there has an invisible direct line to the depths of the subconscious. This interests me greatly. I always wanted to use the word 'Colorama’ in a song ever since I saw Antonioni’s Blow Up. It was an unplugged neon light at the back of my mind for years. Some lyrics are declarations of love or hate written in blood or carved in a bus stop, in need of little or no melodic illumination. Some, I believe, are there almost entirely to facilitate it. If I ever thought about it at all I’m sure I used to think the melody was the vessel that carried the lyrics but more recently it has occurred to me that the opposite is often true. The problem with the neon sign analogy is that neon signs are invariably bolted to the wall and full of gas. Melody seems as though its poured rather than sprayed and doesn’t feel as though whatever holds it ought to be fixed to anything. I sometimes imagine each word to be made using a three dimensional open-top glass alphabet. Each letter built to harness and transport the mirror ball liquid marble of the melody. When the 'substance’ fills up the syllables they seem to shimmer and become weightless. With the addition of close harmony I see colours swirl together, parts of the lyrics glow and the way in which they float suggests that something like the 'star gate’ sequence from 2001: A Space Odyssey is happening deep inside them out of view.” (x)
“The types of sounds, or the chord progressions, or the music I was composing, let’s say on the piano or on these recordings I was making, definitely informed the lyrics, I feel, as much as the films I was watching or anything that was going on in front of me. It often does seem like it really just comes from the music. Like, that seems to suggest things to me as much as, if not more than, everything else.” (x)
“I like what you say about the pieces in the puzzle. I like the idea that the other part of that puzzle is the music, that the melody completes the lyrics, that you can feel that harmony between lyrics and music, a whole. The lyrics are just a piece of the puzzle, not something you have to decipher, but something that goes together with the music…” (x)
“Because you hit a couple of things on the way there. One was Bond villain–that went off in neon in my mind.” (x)
“Lego Napoleon movie / Written in noble gas-filled glass tubes / Underlined in sparks” (Hello You)

BNHA Chapter 308 Spoiler Thoughts: Beat His Ass, Young Midoriya!
Chapter leaks are out!  Full chapter hasn’t been revealed yet (and take what I say with a grain of salt until the official translations come out), but I think I have a pretty good idea of what’s going on.  Nothing super heavy, but it’s an action-packed chapter that shows us how much of a badass Deku has become since he left UA and went all vigilante on us.  So, let’s do this:
Before we get into the chapter, I need to mention our mangaka, Kohei Horikoshi-sensei’s comment this week.  He’s basically apologizing for taking a break last week, calling himself a “small-fry”, and promising to pick himself up.  Horikoshi deserved a break last week and he is by no means a “small-fry” for creating one of the best and most popular pieces of fiction in the last few years.  I hope that he knows that and that he shouldn’t blame himself for taking a break.
So, the chapter picks up right where we left off!  Deku and Muscular’s battle begins and Muscular recognizes Deku’s voice.  He says that he’s been waiting for this moment as everyone else he’s faced have been weaklings compared to Deku.  As far as we know, Deku has been the only one to even beat Muscular by himself.  It took over 100% of his strength to do so, but Deku did manage to kick Muscular’s ass.  It makes sense why he’d want a rematch.
I need to take a moment here to talk about how awesome Deku looks in his Vigilante costume (as I’ve decided to call it).  The tattered clothing really works for him and the dark sclera around his eye adds to the effect.   Again, I love that he’s finally putting the bunny hood and metal mask to use.  I mean, he used them before, but not as a real part of his daily costume.  He looks almost like a completely different person with them on.  I’d be scared of Deku tbh.
As the fight continues, he gives the injured Yo Shindo to his GF, Tatami.  Tatami can’t see Deku’s costume because of the smoke surrounding him, but she does kind of recognize his voice from somewhere.  I do wonder if Tatami’s going to put the pieces together and find out that the vigilante is Izuku Midoriya.  And I wonder if she’s going to get the word about his actions spreading and if that will reach our UA kids.  Or the news stations will, that might happen too.
Speaking of smoke, DEKU UNLOCKED THE 6TH OFA USER’S QUIRK!  The 6th user is the Tobio Kageyama-looking dude with the long collar (He’s cute btw 😳!) and his name is “En” which translated to smoke.  His Quirk is Smokescreen which explains the smoke surrounding Deku at the end of the last chapter.  Deku is using the Quirk too much, so he needs to calm down a bit and use each Quirk individually.  There’s actually quite a bit that Deku could use with a Quirk like Smoakscreen: He could hide himself for a sneak attack, he could use it as a distraction, use it if he needs to retreat, etc.  My mind immediately went to Pokémon (because of course it did) and how Team Rocket would constantly use moves like Smoakscreen and Haze to either distract Ash and Co. to confuse them or use a sneak attack, or run away from the protagonist.  It’s another support-type Quirk, but it’s a damn good one if used right.
Edit: There’s a panel that shows the scale of how much Smokescreen Deku used and it’s A LOT.  Like, the smoke is covering several streets and it goes to the top of some buildings.  It’s hard for really anyone to see anything.  Deku’s really trying to keep himself in the shadows, I suppose.
To use all his Quirks well, En suggests that Deku think of each Quirk like a support tool.  So, Float is a jetpack, Black Whip is a long string of rope, Danger Sense is a radio, and Smoakscreen is a flare or some kind of smoke grenade (I don’t know the specific name).  This is a really good way of thinking for Deku since he’s been using object-focused metaphors for OFA before.  Remember the “Egg in The Microwave” and the “Turntable in The Microwave”?  Similar to that!
Edit: Fan-scans are out.  It seem like Deku is actively talking to En here as if he’s a little voice in his head guiding him on what to do.  My guess is that after his coma talk with the OFA Holders, Deku can now talk to the vestiges consciously.  He doesn’t need to enter a dream-like state to interact with him; it’s just a thing he can do willingly.
So, Deku uses each Quirk individually and finally ties Muscular down with Black Whip.  I can’t describe it, but it’s so cool to see Deku in action here absolutely folding Muscular.  He really has improved since their last fight. There’s one panel that has a close up of Deku’s masked face and he looks so damn cool!  I’m so tempted to color it when the official translations come out.
Deku is asking Muscular where AFO and Shigaraki are, but Muscular doesn’t know.  He also asks why Muscular is doing what he’s doing, but Muscular just responds that there is only blood and battle in his heart and  he doesn’t want to live a life where he regrets not fulfilling that (his name is revealed to be Gouto Imasuji btw.  Don’t know the translation behind that, but I assume it has to do with his Quirk and his violent personality).  So, this confirms that Deku is actively looking for Shigaraki and AFO.  He’s not just saving people left and right, but he is actively looking for the big bad on his own.  I can’t see that ending well without help unfortunately.  Deku’s also trying to reason with Muscular to see if there’s a different path for him similar to his fight with Gentle and LaBrava.  He’s really going for the “Save People’s Hearts” route and I can understand why.  That’s Deku’s character at its core.  It’s why he wants to try to save Shigaraki despite everything.  If there is a different path for a villain, then Deku will try to lead them to it.  Unfortunately, villains like Muscular don’t always have that path.
Edit: Actually, you know what, how in the world did Deku know Muscular’s real name?  Did he see it on the news somewhere?  Did he do some research and manage to look it up?  Does he have someone to give him intel?  I mean, unless Muscular’s name was broadcast out there, his real name is some very specific information Deku got a hold of.
Finally, as he remembers Shigaraki and Kota (the small boy Deku saved back in the Forest Training Camp), Deku runs towards Muscular with full speed and finishes him with one powerful punch!  Deku speeds past Muscular as we finally see his face again under the mask (Badass Deku🥵)!  One Punch Man has left the chat, my dudes.  For real, though, if Muscular really is defeated, it’s amazing how flawlessly Deku beat him.  Deku used every Quirk well and efficiently to dodge Muscular's attacks and pin him down so he could get a clean hit in.  Everything was calculated and executed perfectly.  This is not the Deku we knew back in the Training Camp Arc.
Edit: Ok, it was explained that Shindo’s Vibration actually did effect Muscular’s Quirk.  Then tendons in his muscles were pulled and were starting to unravel.  That’s what made an opening for Deku to get a good hit in.  I think it would’ve been hard for Deku to knock Muscular out with one punch if that opening wouldn’t have been made.  So, Shindo wasn’t entirely useless.
And that’s it from what I can gather!  Damn good action-packed chapter! A+ art and writing from Horikoshi once again!  This man just keeps bringing us 🔥.  I’m so glad to see Deku fight like the badass he’s meant to be.  I wish it didn’t have to take a war and several near-death experiences to get here, but Shonen gotta Shonen.  He knocked the lights out of Muscular, I almost feel sorry for him.  He got his ass kicked by the same kid twice in less than a year.  You should’ve stayed in Tartarus, my dude.  Really, all prisoners should’ve stayed in Tartarus.  If Deku can defeat Muscular, then none of them stand a chance against him now.  I can only assume Deku’s going to go after everyone who was associated with the LOV to find Shigaraki and AFO at this point.  Thankfully, we don’t have a break next week.  Will En teach Deku how to play volleyball?!?  I’m kidding!  I do want to know what our UA kids are doing, especially Bakugo, Shoto, and Uraraka.  This would be a good time to transition to them.  Like, they can see Muscular’s capture on the local news, put the pieces together, and go after Deku.  Or we could just keep focusing on Deku’s vigilante adventures, that works too!

TOH Snake Theory
Full Disclaimer: What I’m about to get into is total conspiracy-theory territory. I’m about to make a lot of connections, some of which are rather stretched. This is just a totally out-there, fun thing I came up with in order to pass the time. I don’t necessarily believe it. If it was false, it wouldn’t be bad writing because sometimes people see patterns that aren’t really meant to be there. Take this with a grain of salt. Or a sack of salt, because this is pretty ludicrous.
Tumblr media
With that out of the way... I think The Owl House will soon have a major character and/or plot-related revelation involving a snake. Potentially, this revelation could even be that Emperor Bellows is a snake, or at least has a snake motif.
As I’ve mentioned before, Luz’s life in the human world seems to have a person who resembles and parallels Amity in her own way;
Tumblr media
(We’ll call this girl Pink Stripe for now)
As others have pointed out, there’s also a girl next to Pink Stripe, who wears glasses like Willow? We’ll call her... Millow. Luz also mentions a human Augustus (nicknamed Gus), whom OUR Augustus in the Demon Realm nicknames himself after, now calling himself “Gus” as well. If we go by the idea that there’s a thematic counterpart for characters in the human world and the Demon Realm, then would Camilla be Eda? Would the principal be Bump? But who, in the human world, is King?
And then I realized... Luz’s pet snake;
Tumblr media
I know that both Luz and King make a point that King isn’t Luz’s pet, but just bear with me for a moment. The snakes are the closest thing Luz has to an ‘animal sidekick’ back home. Not only that, but who does the snake represent in Luz’s book report on Azura?
Tumblr media
The Gildersnake! And the Gildersnake is also voiced by Alex Hirsch, even having a similar voice to King!
Now, look at Episode 4. King has THIS book on demons that he holds dear. See the snake on the cover?
Tumblr media
Snakes are associated with King twice so far. But, I don’t necessarily think King’s true form is a snake. Let me continue...
I’ve already established with @fermented-writers-block that Luz and Amity both parallel Azura and Hecate, but that the roles are also interchangeable in their own way. Thus, the old witch from the Azura books could be Eda, or it could be Lilith? King’s position is obvious, but then who would be Amity’s animal sidekick in this scenario?
Then @fermented-writers-block suggested something brilliant; Perhaps Emperor Bellows himself is King’s counterpart! Think about it- They’ve both got motifs of royalty in their name. A bellow is “(of a person or animal) emit a deep loud roar, typically in pain or anger.” So this implies that Bellows could be somewhat animalistic, like King. Kikimora is higher-ranking than Lilith, so it’s not without precedent for people in the Emperor’s hierarchy to be smaller than those they reign over.
(Granted, we haven’t seen Kikimora in person. Maybe she’s got really long legs after all? Or her diminutive proportions still give way to a giant size. Who knows?)
All of the Azura characters have counterparts... Azura, the old witch, the animal sidekick, and Hecate. Everyone, except the Gildersnake, who is portrayed as the main antagonist of the first book that our main protagonist must defeat. The Gildersnake, who arguably has connections to King, who himself has connections to a snake motif. Speaking of a snake motif...
This background is included in Eda’s fake backstory of King. Which... should be taken with a HUGE grain of salt, naturally. But it could also be foreshadowing in its own way. Behind King is a palace flanked by two arms reaching into the sky, and both arms are encircled by snakes. Those arms just so happen to resemble the ones in Bonesborough;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hence, my thesis; There’s going to be a major character/plot revelation involving a snake motif... And going further, this revelation could be that Emperor Bellows is a snake-like being. Again, not only could one see the parallels between him and King if they squint hard enough... But there’s also the possibility of King having once been an actual King of Demons. Which leaves the chance that he was deposed by Bellows himself... And if Bellows basically took his throne, he’d become a King of Demons in his own right!
And our King of Demons has a demonology book with a snake on it... He’s also like the Gildersnake, but as we mentioned, Luz is interchangeable with Amity in the Azura metaphor, and Lilith with Eda, etc. Luz’s pet snakes are a potential human-world parallel to King. They’re also used to represent the Gildersnake, who sounds a lot like King and is incredibly powerful and an antagonist...
(Also, if we really want to take the motifs seriously, then if we combine my previous suggestion about there being a Bonesborough Giant, then perhaps that giant IS Bellows! Meaning Bonesborough takes place atop Bellows?)
Now, I know that you might be thinking- Am I really suggesting that King is both the animal sidekick in the Azura story, AND the Gildersnake? How can there be two Kings at once?
Well, if you consider the theory that King was the Boiling Isles Titan(or is its child/the same species) to be true, then we have TWO Kings right now, in a sense;
Tumblr media
And if the BI Titan is associated with the Gildersnake (as King’s former body and the final, gigantic enemy), who else might be connected to the Gildersnake? And possibly deposed King? Emperor Bellows. For all we know, the finale will have Bellows trying to resurrect the Boiling Isles Titan, but with him in control... Like Bionicle!
Here’s a messy diagram that basically sums up the connections to the best of my ability;
Tumblr media
Now, back to the disclaimer:
This is just me noticing a common motif throughout the show. It does not necessarily mean anything. A lot of times, people repeat design motifs simply because they like them. Snakes are associated with demons and whatnot, so it makes sense to see them a lot in the Boiling Isles. It’s possible that Dana just likes snakes a lot! I like snakes a lot as well, and have placed a lot of them into my own stories in some form of motif, without said motifs necessarily meaning anything! Not to mention, the parallels between characters in the Azura series, the human world, and the Demon Realm isn’t perfect, even if you take into account the idea that some characters can be interchangeable from an intentional writing standpoint (like how Amity probably sees herself as Azura the same way Luz does, and Episode 2 makes a point about how everyone sees themselves as the hero of their own story).
Sometimes people make meaningless connections that don’t exist. This does not mean it’s bad writing if those connections don’t turn out to be true, nor is it ‘wasted potential’ on the writers’ part. Again, this is all baseless speculation and me having fun. It’s easy to make connections between things if one has convinced themselves to look for evidence in favor of it. In all honesty I’m not too convinced myself on this theory, I just thought it’d be fun to bring up! For all we know, Bellows is the mystery arm, which doesn’t seem to have any scales or claws like you might expect a snake person to have, and is too buff for an equally-diminutive counterpart to King (granted it’s green like a snake but ignore me). I’ve also brought up the possibility that he’s a bird, which if you consider how snakes have been associated with King, and how some birds hunt snakes, could be fitting in its own way.
So again- Don’t take this as a certainty. Don’t think this is the ultimate, galaxy-brain theory. It’s just me being crazy with details I noticed throughout the show. All of this is just for fun.
TL;DR Emperor Bellows could have a snake-motif and be short, paralleling King, who he may or may not have usurped as the King of Demons. Also Bellows might try to resurrect the Boiling Isles Titan but with himself in control (but that last part is a stretch).
(BTW this is a repost because my original post got deleted from the tag search for some reason)

ok, i’m rewatching TST and writing down everything that bothers me. part 3
1:00:00 onwards
part 1: [X]  part 2: [X]
long post
-sherlock is easy to follow apparently. aj was not able to follow mary, but he found her through sherlock. is that sherlock blaming himself?
-john watson always wanting to talk about everything. john?!
-when mary tries that “it was always the four of us” spiel aj responds very cynically. not that much of a family then?
-considering her earlier outburst, mary looks pretty chill after being told someone out of her ‘family’ was tortured to death
-his captors forgot about him for six years, but he didn’t starve or died of thirst? and was still able to pick up ‘whispers’? why didn’t they kill him after he wasn’t “fun to torture” anymore? i’m calling psychological reconditioning.
-”every day as they tore into me. amo amo amo” yeah, reconditioning.
-was all of this based on a misunderstanding or was it conscious misdirection to make aj act like this?
-mycroft, walking wikipedia, not picking up a word in latin?
-john obviously sees that he’s being hypocritical about the ‘so many lies’ thing.
-john is always so much more smug, cocky and flirty in sherlock’s mind. is sherlock really making all of this up?
-btw who took the pic from john’s lockscreen? it wasn’t mrs hudson, bc they’re not looking into the camera. did sherlock take the pic with his phone and sent it to john?
-what is that smug little playa grin supposed to mean? john is NOT like that.
-e... eeeeee... are there any female characters from doyle canon starting with e?
-he sends hey, not hi.
-the texts from bed don’t start with ‘hi’ either. but sherlock usually ends his with SH. maybe it really is harry watson? then again the ‘miss you’ reminds me of moriarty’s ‘miss me’
-i don’t think it’s sherlock sending these, but maybe they’re something he wishes he could send?
-the texts he sends from the bus sound waaay guiltier and not playful at all. but ‘it was nice to get to know you a little’ implies at least some correspondence. so maybe the texts in bed really were from the woman?
-she looks dejected and understanding even before he sends the last text, she couldn’t possibly have read it yet.
-also the big bad of this season LITERALLY looms from the poster behind her. can’t ignore this
-what doesn the poster say? HE’S BACK; Business; it’s murder (?) in the...???
-mary is the key to solving the case, “They know eeeeverything”
-was john going to tell mary about the bus woman before they got the texts? also: why did they get the textx almost simultaneously??
-sherlock send a riddle to mary, only john got the exact location? but both knew where to go? how did mary know?
-so the old lady also has an obsession with sharks and just so happens to be sitting there waiting for agents all the time. what a feckeng coincidence.
-the lady sees agents as sharks. sherlock sees sharks as predators. agents are predators?
-”couldn’t have chosen it better myself. then i never could resist a touch of the dramatic.” sherlock is calling himself out. is this the confirmation that all of this is just happening in his head?
-how many times does someone say “i knew this would happen someday” this ep? the destiny thing again.
-”you are very sure of yourself aren’t you?” “with GOOD reason” ouch this hurts when you know what he’s going to say later on.
-and again the samarra thing. to me that’s the biggest proof for the mind palace/coma/dream theory. they cannot possibly all have this story at the tip of their tongues at any given moment. that just makes no sense.
-sherlock is too cocky in thinking he can manipulate the secretary and it ends badly.
-”maybe i can still surprise you” this is either sherlock @ himself: don’t be to sure of yourself or it is the authors telling us to suspect a big twist.
-”come on, be sensible!” “nah, don’t think so.” boy, they gonna do something big.
-why is sherlock not moving? mary had the time to jump, why didn’t sherlock move? is that him scolding himself for hesitating?
-norbury says “surprise”, but doesn’t look surprised at all that mary would do something like this.
-john didn’t see anything and doesn’t have any context.
-mary’s goodbye sounds incredibly textbook. like she practiced it.
-what is she saying? “hey sherlock, i still like you, did I ever say?” is she saying that?
-look, i love mary, but this death doesn’t make me sad, because i knew it would happen and it just feels so..... weird? idk how to explain it.
-”you were my whole world. mary watson was the only life worth living.” i’m sorry but ive heard that exact sentence in different versions at least 20 in different movies. its so ...fake?
-I needn’t say how ooc john blaming sherlock is to me, there have been a lot of posts about this
-lestrade’s and mycroft’s looks though. we know from tab that sherlock instinctively knows that the both of them will always be there for him, i think you can see this here as well
-we don’t see the funeral, just a coffin burning (blue flames) and john walking across a graveyard, pacing in his home, ignoring his phone
-then, almost like waking up, we hear ella’s voice while still seeing john’s face. maybe we are just now waking up from the ‘reoccuring dream’
-so i have two theories. either most of what we see in the ep was a dream or mindpalace and ella is real or it’s the other way round and sherlock is hallucinating her in his mindpalace, trying to help himself cope with everything (would explain why the office looks different). it looks like they’re in an attic, maybe a metaphor for ‘head’?
-mycroft’s fridge is pretty empty, but he has lots of stuff sticking to it, what’s ‘13th’ supposed to mean? or is it 13.00, can’t read it
-yay sherrinford. who may be a girl.
-the baloon john is still there, but deflated, hanging from the table
-ouch, sherlock using ‘norbury’ to keep himself in check, bc he’s so afraid of fucking up again
-miss me? is moriarty’s catchphrase and mary knew that. was kind of cruel to use it.
-judging by mary’s hair this video is not very old at all
-telling that we do’t get to see john’s note, but molly’s ‘you don’t need to read it now’ makes me think that the content is either hurtful or should be kept a secret
-the way molly repeats ‘anyone’ makes it sound like john also stressed it when he told her what to tell sherlock. maybe it’s a clue? or maybe im just grasping straws here
-again samarra and sharks
-idk, but her ‘go to hell, sherlock’ doesn’t sound all that hateful to me.
soooooooo, in conclusion. the major motifs of this ep were: sherlock feeling insecure and hating himself for his arrogance, is destiny inevitable? and an upcoming plot twist. oh and that everything is impostant, but should be taken with a grain of salt.

Ohh, did they change/edit smth in the final volumes of eldlive? I'd really like to hear about the loose ends they managed to end well.
There were a couple iirc, though it’s mostly just expo dumb in the first chapter(?) of the 10th/11th volume
I’m basically writing this from the top of my head, so take it with a grain of salt dear anon haha
So obligatory “spoilers-ish down below” warning 8D
Btw this is in no particular order and mostly random imo haha
Mimi finally got married w/ the Yukimine-guy from vol 7-8-ish (the one where she held a card before Chuta and co got training from Madigan)
Matsutaro and Michiyo actually being part of the “fate-weavers” of Mothers and the reason why they (aside for Gucci ‘cuz he’s more of a collateral damage) had the mountain incident
King’s dead bro (the reason why Heaven Sider (aka King and Alba) started the whole “DESTROY ēlCIVILIZATION” shenanigans) was also part of the “fate-weavers” and the reason why he did that was to see which Monitalien (Drew (aka Chuta) or Migrane (aka King (yeah, that’s what he named it, ‘cuz it gives him headaches lol)) who’ll evolve(?) and be the one who’ll be the seed(?) to help Mothers’ Mother flourish
Chuta was able to “connect” w/ Drew again, ‘cuz Misuzu put some of Drew’s cells(?) in her discarded hair pin (the crescent moon shaped one and was held and buried on Earth by Chuta) and both Chuta and Drew still remember ‘cuz of their previous symbiosis(?)
Also the hair pin can disguise SPH, but we already knew that since she was able to use it to not think Chuta’s SPH as stinky
Also, also, Scarlet actually have one in her arm too
Lane Brick (still a funny name ngl) journey from being a pirate to an big bro officer guy so to help Misuzu avoid her fate as Mothers’ Mother and was the one who demanded her to be an officer like him in exchange the Mothers having his future-seeing right eye
Also they can’t kill him, ‘cuz the eye’ll get bad too (basically working under supervision)
Dr. Love and co surviving a crash via a life-boat and Matsutaro’s SPH (it was defense-related I think) and landed on one his fellow science-friends’ labs
The ēlDLIVE SSD (solar-system district) managed to be revived by Dr. Love ‘cuz Riggs drank an illegal and discontinued(?) motion-sickness medicine that had “pathogen antibody(?)” reactions before the impending “dusting” (aka that time they had a birthday party before the biggest party duster happened) and since the station was air-tight, it wasn’t contaminated w/ anything else (to quote Dr. Love “it’s been a series of lucky events” indeed lol)
Gucci having a deux ex machina (time-space null-thing) to help Chuta fight Heaven Sider, but eventually used it for the final fight w/ Mothers (he got the message from him only near the end lol)
THE FRIGGIN DREW-OOP MECHS FOR GLOCK AND CO
AND THEY’RE IMMEDIATELY ABLE TO SYMPATHIZE AS WELL BUT ONLY FOR LIKE 30 MINS OF ENERGY LOL
Also, that oop mechs was Scarlet’s research when Dr. Love went awol then gave it to him when they meet again later lol
Lane getting his eye back via Misuzu (as Mothers’ Mother) and told him to apprehend Keishi 4 years later (after time skip)
Kieshi (the blue guy, w/ long hair and beads crossing his face) being the semi-big-bad (along w/ Mothers I think and fate too, prolly)
Mothers wanting to killing 1/3, enslaving 1/3, and surviving the strongest 1/3 of ēlCivilization (also why “fate weaving” happened) ‘cuz there’s gonna be a “universe reset” in a couple of centuries and everyone in ēlCivilization’re gonna be wiped out, so they want to raise their survival-rate and made the “seed” (monitalien) to do that lol
Kieshi’s being the one who allowed the SSD died (’cuz “Mothers fate-weavers”) and also killed Scarlet (the old woman professor that Dr. Love met) to emulate the feeling of suffering like Chuta so he’ll “sympathize” w/ his “Drew” like him, ‘cuz of his love for her (he helped her escape from “her fate” before)
Also, he’s apparently the one why the “patogen antibody(?)” motion sickness medicine got banned and discontinued, ‘cuz he knows it could resist(?) the pathogen
Also, also apparently at one time Scarlet-Dr.Love is like Misuzu-Chuta (aka Mother-candidate-monitalien candidate) and the latter is basically the back up ‘cuz of the former(?)
An ēlDLIVE station who’s sent to the “fight destination” at first attacked the SSD, got into video-contact, suddenly signal got cut of video-contact after shouting “TRAITOR”, then when meeting up face-to-face they let them pass ‘cuz “in all the years of being an inspector, I dunno anymore which one to believe” (aka heel-turn moral compas moment, but okay)
Mothers and Kieshi trying to mass-produce “Drew-seed” and select the “surviors” to artificially implant them
Kieshi trying to defeat Chuta-Drew by becoming bigger, but failed ‘cuz the Kieshi-fake Drew duo doesn’t have the same bond/sympathy as Chuta-Drew (it’s an anti-climatic fight, from an action perspective imo)
Misuzu being kinda tsun-tsun abt her wishes and wants
Chuta being the bigger guy to let her go, but everyone in ēlCivilization told them just take her (the time-space-null-thing got cracked and now everyone can see what Misuzu-Chuta-Drew are thinking/projecting), we’ll find another way to survive the Big Wipeout w/ technology and stuff!
Misuzu finally accepting she wants to be w/ Chuta, Mothers basically got dissolved (since she resigned from it lol), and everyone has a happy ending :D
That’s pretty much things I can write atm (it’s arnd 1-2 a.m when I wrote this lmao), sorry if it got derailed a bit anon haha
Anyway even though I write it like that and thought the last two-ish volumes were a bit speedy info-dump-ish, I still enjoy reading them nonetheless -- I still recomend buying the volumes just for the sake of getting more context of my poorly-worded-words haha :”DDD
If you still have questions or smth, just let me know and I’ll try my best to be more eloquent and cohesive next time (and also w/ picture next time) haha (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧
Also in a not-so-related note: writing this has made me think ēlDLIVE has a womb metaphor and I dunno what to take of this thing...
