first time shovel has ever succeeded using scare and it's against the red dragon lmao
#personal#ash plays bg3#there's an achievement for killing the dragon that i didnt get first time so. giving it a go#considering astarion did 136 damage in one hit and it has 400 health i think i can do it lmao#i was thinking i might use pwk on it because it would feel cheesy to use it on the brain but i dont think ill have to#maybe i wont end up using pwk. we'll see how the brain goes i guess#it might be hard to get astarion in there because he's the only one in my party that cant fly#that's something ive been meaning to bring up actually. at first i agreed with every companion who said they didnt want the astral tadpole#but later changed my mind and convinced all of them. but astarion was the ONE where the option actually goes away after he first refuses#considering he's probably my most effective fighter here that's a little frustrating lmao but hey i guess he makes up for it#by doing 1/3 of the dragon's health in one hit?????#tbf that was a crit and a sneak attack. the next hit did 61 damage. but still#DUDE HE JUST DID AN ATTACK AS A REACTION AND IT DID ANOTHER 80 DMG IT'S ONLY GOT 15 HP LEFT YOOO#i bet an npc is gonna take it out rip

so I was playing pokemon scarlet (pirated ofc for ethical reason) and there was a little Team Star barricade on a road I needed to pass by. But one end of the road was slightly higher, so the barrier dipped on one side
And apparently if you jump from the high side of the road to the low side of the barrier, you can just. Leave
They don’t stop you from doing it
Anyway so now my “overleveled” lv.35 gardevoir is making very good use of the Thunder Wave TM move and Dazzling Gleam to barely survive encounters with level fucking fifty dragons and shit
Gonna go do the lake boss tomorrow, my other team members are in the mid-20s except my starter (33)

Red Hook Studios’ greatest sin is giving the Duelist a super cool design and a solid enough backstory and then just. Not making her worth using at all. Zero compelling strengths.
#is she a BAD hero? not necessarily#she can do good damage or build up good tokens#it just takes her 2-4 turns to do what other heroes can do in 1 and with a higher HP pool
