i think im not a fan of what dc keeps doing with jason because they keep having him, the abused, become an abuser in some way shape or form. and the classism they don't want to talk about (i am being so for real there is a genuine problem of both writers and readers who do not understand jason's background and it pissed me off so bad because it always shapes their opinion of him in the wrong way and they don't care to even try to listen). and how if they were going to have him come back they should have had delved into his identity crisis and the inherent horror of coming back but not knowing how or why or what to do about it and not knowing what you were doing while dead and having to deal with time jumping forward on you and the fact that you will never get the time back and no one will he the same as they were before you died and how isolating and lonely that would be. and they also definitely weren't prepared for the fact that jason was grieving his life and his death and his hopes for his mother and his dad who didn't get there in time and the dc writers are fucking cowards. which brings me to my next point: why do we keep listening to them about shit because they are quite literally always fighting with each other and projecting their own personal biases into characters (i.e. making them worse than they are/2 dimensional/trying to make them iredeemable so their favorite character gets to shine) and also they are all freaks of nature with a consistent problem of being God Awful People who why would we trust them with these characters. jason todd they don't get you like i do

steve blackman, when you were deciding that it was crucial for five to have a fucking romance plotline with his brother’s wife did you also find it crucial for five and said brother to have several sweet heart-to-heart moments throughout the season just to lead to them dying with a deep hatred for each other

Looking at Kotoko's voicelines, she says that she regrets not being the one to "punish" the ones who died; they died regardless of her "justice". And that's interesting because Mahiru is dead solely due to her; if she never attacked her back in T2 she wouldn't have died. But that doesn't count to Kotoko. She only counts it as a kill if she's standing triumphant over the body as life leaves it.

But we know MILGRAM doesn't have such a strict view; we know that its view of "murder" is quite broad. If Kotoko beat someone up and left them to die on the street, that would count.

If she had a full string of vigilante justice she was pursuing, and only made sure to kill the last guy but left some other bodies in her wake, she'd be a serial killer.

I fully believe that - whether she realizes it or not - Kotoko's killcount pre-Milgram is more than one.

it's really weird to me the way people have been talking about maria lately.... like i know maria wasnt the most developed character in her earlier appearances and she also didnt get to have a normal childhood experience but seeing people say she has no personality and has no joy or whimsy or never got to be a kid at all makes me wonder if im the only person whos actually been paying attention to maria this whole time...???? like do people think she was a sad miserable kid who never got to have fun because of her disability or something ? because that is quite literally the opposite of who she was

and people are being weirdly ableist about it too like talking like her illness is the reason for all those traits she supposedly lacks. implying disabled people cant be happy or have fun or whatever. like come on man

highlights of the episode because i liked so much of it:

JO’S WHOLE PERFORMANCE!!!! my girl put her whole heart into that as she always does!!! and the way she tells ppl to stop interrupting her cuz they’re messing up her accent is so cute <333

everyones outfits but especially jo brad dana and rachel’s they were my favourites

the fact that brad let jo do a grisly death for him is so !!!!!!! he let her put fake blood on him n he played along when the others came in like hello thats so adorable

storm giving jo her flowers for her introduction speech like hell yeah appreciate my girl!!!

david playing the piano and singing i loved that actually

carol stealing wine shes so real for that

jo’s disappointment when carol doesnt let her give her a gruesome death

dana and rachels interactions this entire episode were so cute and fun

ian immediately wanting to tell poppy about storm saying he and poppy are “just a fling” like he cares about her so much genuinely

david being the first voted out and then playing pool by himself (he’s just such a wet cat)

brad hoping that david accidentally burns down the house and trying to achieve that by getting him drunk and hanging out with him

dana and rachel’s dog being named “butters” like thats just rlly cute very them

brads “i really hope we end up hunting each other” like okay man

THE REVEAL OF WHO THE HOST WAS LIKE !!!!! that was great that was adorable that was so fun

jo getting paid by 4 different people to set up the party my girls getting paid as she should

i really liked the episode i honestly could find more things to point out that i liked but these are like the main ones that stuck out to me after watching it for the first time
