Hey kit ? why didn’t you make billy a teacher? He already had a concept in canon for that. because I crave tella interacting with kids, I wanted to make him a music teacher (and I forgot that happened)

My greatest confusion about the last Romanov’s fandom is why so many people call Tatiana “Tatya”

because i am Tatiana (i prefer Tatyana with “y”) and no one calls me like that😅

there are some nicknames for Tatiana:

- Tanya

- Tata

- Tanechka (diminutive, i believe Tatiana’s parents called her like that)

- Tanyusha

is it some westernized version of my name that i’m too slavic to understand?

the better question is: where does it BEGIN and END ?? nothing can come between TATYA and AL... except for a pair of siblings with beautiful dark hair. RONAN sure has more than a few reasons to despise the young lad. IF i were al, i’d think long and hard before deciding what i’d do with a certain MISS LUDOLF. i’m not entirely where to place ASTRID in this equation ?? but i’m sure her heart will be found in the same dumpster with al’s other victims’.

Truth to be told, the first name of Denali's mother freaks me out every time I read it.

C'mon, she died in the 10th century, either she was Alexandra, or she had hungarian female version of Sandòr. There was no short version 'Sasha' unless it's a name in Sanscrit which means 'hare'. And she's the mathriarch, why do they use the short form??????? No one calls Carlisle 'Karl' or 'Lyle' why the Denali should call their mother another way?????

The same thing with Tanya and Irina. I mean, I know that anglophones consider Tanya as autonomus name sometimes, but in my mind it's just cut form of 'Tatyana'. And if there is Irina, Tanya should be Tatyana and Kate—Katerina. Or Irina should be Ira ['e-ra].

And I miss all suffixes so much...

ANYWAY

Alaska's russian dialect is very funny. There is a word (there are much funny words actually) which means 'a little child" and souns like babychka (бейбичка). An English word with a russian suffix. I CAN'T- THIS MAKES MY SO HAPPY AS A LINGUISTку

hhhhh Tatiana is very mature and that’s why her relationship with Zeke works despite their rather sizable age difference but also im guilty of enjoying Tatiana being a little bit childish and getting spoiled by him.... because she works so hard to take care of everyone in her village and to seem so mature and put-together all the time when she’s still just a 21-year-old girl and so having her be able to pout a little or be a little childish and selfish within reason is really sweet and cute tbh,, Zeke loves indulging her when she gets like that because she doesn’t do it a lot
