Definitely the guy i met with for a hookup that got evicted mid hookup.

He told me to meet him at his house and when i got there he was not even home yet so i waited outside for 15 minutes because i give people a lot of chances. He apologized over text and told me to go over to the cafe near his place where i got an extremely overpriced and mediocre latte (was like $7 CAD). Another 15-20 minutes later he showed up in a huff and we went to his place. His house was full of garbage bags and boxes with almost no furniture. He took me over to the couch where there was dust bunnies the size of my fist all over the floor. In my mind ive now decided im not going to sleep with this guy. He went in to put his arm around me on the couch and was like "im a DJ btw let me show you some of my favourite stuff" and he put on probably some of the worst electronic music ive ever heard. We sat there in awkward silence song after song and each time he asked me if i liked them. I lied and said yeah to be nice. After a few songs he asked if i wanted to shower with him specifying that he had no clean towels so we could dry off with some of his old clothes. As politely as possible i wormed out of it saying i had already showered before getting there and texted my friend in a mad flurry as he went to shower to update them incase this guy decided to murder me or something (he was nice but you never know i guess).

He gets back and asks if i want to go to his bed, walking into his room it is a bare mattress on the dusty ground with only a single old worn dresser in the room. I say oh no.... Im alright... As im trying to think of excuses to leave early he takes me back to the couch and put on the tv show The Expanse. Halfway into an episode he gets a call and over the course of it is visibly more upset. He hangs up then tells me with tears in his eyes that his landlord told him he needs to be out by the end of the week. It was so shocking and confusing i wasnt sure what to say and gave him a hug apologizing asking if hes okay and he said maybe i should go so i got out of there as fast as possible and have not talked to him since.

peso's got one of the cutest design and i love his US dub voice - this is peso. we don't talk about pence. like all the characters, she's an inspiration to me and should get a medal for being a hero

1: I have severe social anxiety – even having a conversation with someone brings up great levels of stress because I’m afraid I’m going to say the wrong thing/do the wrong thing/insult them and risk of them never speaking to me again. I realize that a lot of this is in my head, but it’s a very real daily struggle.

2: I’m a musician

3: most of you who’s read my stuff probably know this by now, but for those who don’t – I am autistic 

4: the same food every single day until my hyper fixation wears off and then I obsess over a different meal for another few months

5: I was a makeup artist. Am?? Was?? Still not sure.

7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate

Oh so many. There are art mediums I wish I could work with but don't have near enough patience to do.

The first two that come to mind are oil paints and 3D sculpture. Those couldn't be anymore different, but once I watched a series of videos of someone building a furry sculpture from scratch and I felt like I was witnessing a god working.

Oohh hmm... I feel like thats a hard question to ask on Tumblr- and the internet in general. It's a very common issue where artists pour their heart and soul into a piece only for the shitpost you made in 30 minutes to get astronomically more attention

... but I will say my (very brief) Hollow Knight Space AU with Quirrel def took a while for people to discover and appreciate

When they move in together, who gets the most say in decorations? What do they each have to have in the house? I think theyd have like an equal say in the decorations. they dont really coordinate themes or color schemes for the rooms or anything like that I think they just get whatever they like which results in their apartment looking like an absolute mildly overstimulating patchwork mess. and they like it that way :) barring the obvious Battle Stuff both of them would like posters kieran maybe a little moreso (they diverge in like. the specific interests those posters reflect? florian has alot of game merch and kieran has band merch) and also I think florian would like collecting figurines and plushies and stuff. oh also I think kierans various masks he carves would be used as decor around the whole place :3

How do they celebrate holidays? dependssss on the holiday I think. for most holidays (a la xmas halloween new years) its probably more like a big friendgroup hangout session. I dont think either of them would really give a shit about valentines day. HOWEVER they would absolutely go all out for the festival of masks every year. they fly out to kitakami, kieran makes custom masks for them every year, they have a little picnic date night on oni mountain etc etc. yes both of them make jokes about that field trip. mostly kieran though LOL

Who likes to dance with, or sing for, the other? honestly I dont think either of them are very inclined to sing for eachother I dont see that happening. at most I think florian would threaten to burst out into song and kieran would go "dont do that." and thats the end of that bit. DANCING THOUGH... I can see that happening during the more mellow hours (blacklight has those? surprising I know) and it would be initiated by mostly florian aswell. overall shes probably the one that specifically references the swordfight more between the two of them. except it would be actual dancing for all of maybe 5 minutes if theyre being generous before it inevitably devolves into an elaborate game of tag

What would their lives be like if they had never met? alot worse! neither of them would get that push from eachother to break out of their shells and both of them would slowly rot inside of those shells having never gotten the chance to bloom into their own person leaving both of them as hollow husks of themselves :D also this would butterfly effect into the continuation of the protag/rival feedback loop so Everyone would be worse! fun!

How do they usually comfort each other? kieflos communication style is veryyyy. telepathy image. so I dont think their type of comfort would be like verbal atleast not in the traditionally 'comforting' way? kieran especially would Not like the traditional verbal comfort LOL. their brand of comfort is probably just providing a distraction of some kind or like just Being Around. no need for words. I wouldnt describe either of them as being 'better' at the comforting thing either... idk its hard to judge since theyre so Weird about it

What reminds them of each other? honestly it might be an easier question to ask what DOESNT remind them of eachother. like if theyre not in eachothers direct presence theyre probably still on eachothers minds to some degree so basically anything is fair game here. if I had to point out something specific though I think theyd go "oh theyd like this" alot at stuff that pertains to the others interests. like. kieran picks up a plushie from the arcade when he passes by bc florian likes them. florian picks up a cd of that new album from that band kierans been enjoying lately. etc. you get the idea

Who remembers the little things? both of them! its thematically important to both sides that they get to see Everything from eachother so both of them would hang on to every little detail about eachother <3 theyre so disgusting can we put them down please

How do they make up after an argument? Who is the first one to apologize? They Don't! kieflo toxic-to-everyone-except-themselves moments. they have a lot of arguments yes but its nearly almost always stupid shit that theyre arguing about for the thrill of the debate itself. theyll get passionate about anything if theyre pit against eachother. so like. no need for apologies. if the argument actually WAS something substantial, then... well for one theyre both too stubborn to apologize and also tbh I dont think either of them would Want to be apologized to? verbally atleast. ...ok well florian would enjoy getting apologized to but then she'd feel grosser about That than the actual argument but kieran would rather die. they work on like a karma system I feel like. instead of saying sorry they just have to repay the other through like a pokemon battle or something

What gifts do they typically give each other? actually I kinda already half answered this in the what reminds them of eachother question. their gifts to eachother are just stuff they know the other likes. its a very casual arrangement like 'oh they mentioned they wanted that' go in and buy it no biggie

Killing Time: An existential duet TTRPG for Father Time and the misguided fool who will try to kill him. Playable over four 40 minute seasons - Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter - each with its own rules and themes. Spring is a lesson building dexterity game, Summer is maximalist tactical combat, Fall is a narrative puzzle, and Winter is a more abstract conversation, as the game's rules become less structured as Time is dying.

🌤️Share your favorite mechanic from a game you’re working on.

Killing Time's 'dexterity' mechanic from Spring is super rad. Within the live timer, you need to physically (or digitally if you can replicate it) find a card in a shuffled deck of Tarot cards, and answer a prompt 40 times: 13 cards through three suits +1 required Major Arcana, with optional Major Arcana along the way as distractions and bonus challenges. This averages 1 minute per card to find it, answer a prompt and roleplay for a moment with Father Time, but the temptation to not min-max it and roleplay longer is always there, and certain cards (Kings are Time's generals, and Major Arcana usually feature challenges) take longer than others.

'Spooky' from my game design brain: In KN1GHT, the dragon fight, mechanically, is often a doozy that shakes people. After establishing the play pattern of rolling against a card to defeat an obstacle, and clearing 5 harrowing cards' worth of obstacles, you arrive at the lair of the dragon, where you find you need to clear the entire Spades line to defeat the dragon, 13 more dangerous and deadly cards between you and your victory.

I've been thinking a lot about healing, the past...a lot of years HDJFNF have brought a lot of trauma for me and I've realised that healing sometimes doesn't mean fixing. Sometimes healing is accepting that it happened and moving on, or accepting that something is a part of you and moving on.

Usually whatever I'm watching, right now it's CM, but in terms of writing style not really? I kinda just do my own thing. Same with scriptwriting 🤷‍♂️

I really need to work on integrating dialogue into scenes better, a lot of my fics either barely have any or straight up don't and its kind of an issue

It depends I think, I like them if I know they're coming, like 'I've got a surprise for you' is great, but people just springing things on me (mostly if it's plans) can really really throw me off and upset me (shoutout to autism ‼️🗣🔥🫡)

I need to draw more inanimate objects in general but I love drawing trees. You can give them so much character with so little. It's so fun making them gnarled and imperfect because that ends up making them look better!
