[Bahumia theme fades out.]
Murph: WEL-come back to Bahumia everybody!
Jake, Emily, and Caldwell: Ba-HU-mia!
Murph: I'm your dungeon master (laughing) Brian Murphy, joined by Jake Hurwitz--
[Clip cuts forward. Emily, Jake, and Caldwell are laughing.]
Murph: Uh, sweet guys, uh, why don't we go ahead and do a little recap?
Caldwell and Jake: Yes please.
Emily, enthusiastically: Ok Murph!
[Caldwell and Jake laugh.]
Murph: This was-- you're bringing off-mic bits onto mic. [Emily laughs.] When we--
Caldwell: You're bridging the bit!
Murph: Yeah. The reason I was--
Jake: Sorry about that, Murph!
Murph: The reason I was laughing--
Emily: (laughing harder) Sorry about that, Murph!
Murph: You-- We can't all talk over each other--
Caldwell: It's okay, Murphs!
Murph: We all have to calm down (laughing) and let each other speak.
Caldwell: Everyone let Murph speak!
Murph: That has to happen!
Jake: Go ahead, Murph!
[Emily is still laughing. She laughs harder.]
Murph: Ok-- Thanks guys. (laughing) I-- haven't described what you're doing. [The others laughing.] Right before we started everyone just kept being really polite, but in a way that was not letting me start the recording. Any time I said "we're about to-- let's get started" they would go "ok Murph!" "let's go Murph!" "ready to go Murph!"
Emily: I remember that, Murph!
Murph: Yeah.
Jake: Yeah. Sorry about interrupting you, Murph!
Murph: Well the people at home didn't remember it, cause they didn't know. We have to tell them what's going on. (laughing) We can't just say shit.
Caldwell: We should do a recap before the recap, Murphs.
[Emily laughs.]
Murph: Yeah, this is the pre- (laughing) the pre-show recap of the stupid fucking bits you guys do.
[The others laugh.]
Jake: Well put, Murph!
Murph: Yeah this is why I was laughing when I said my name.
Emily: (cackles) Touché, Murph!
Murph: Okay guys. Uh, let's go ahead and do the real recap.
Caldwell, whispering: Sounds good Murph!
[Emily and Jake laugh.]
Murph: So last time, you guys began-- (laughs). You have to stop. You have to stop.
Emily: That was-- Caldwell's one was really good at the end.
Murph, over her: So last time, last time, you guys began in Ma Goblin's moving lab [clip fades out].

are there different types of ghosts in colorquest? if so are they common or able to be seen at all?
So ghosts in the universe are only able to be ghosts for one of two reasons: If they are cursed, OR. They died prematurely, in the eye of fate.
Ghosts cannot be seen through regular means, and I'll get back to that soon.
A cursed ghost is often an uneasy ghost, and these ghosts are the cause of malevolent supernatural activity. They're more hostile, usually.
These are the more common type of ghost-- but don't let that make you think there's tons out there. Curses aren't common, and curses that specifically ensure that a soul may never rest are even less common.
On the flip side, premature ghosts are ghosts that wander as an echo on the plane of reality. They do this because they were tied to an event that was 'planned,' or fated to happen. This is a rare phenomenon. Once the event in question passes, however long into the future, these ghosts suffer a more violent fate.
They do not get to rest peacefully, they do not get to come back to life, they are made into another eye of fate-- an amalgamation of entities that are used in the persuasion of fate to help control the future fate of the universe. Essentially they are hiccups in a grand plan that get recycled.
It might not sound violent, but the complete loss of self merging into the overbearing mind of fate, does not mean they are gone. They just suffer in there and are driven mad, with no chance in being resurrected. That's just their new eternity. At least cursed ghosts still have a chance to rest x_x.
So ghosts have a few ways they can be seen, but are not corporeal by default. Lauren, for Tanner, enacts a ceremony to reveal him (resurrecting him is another story). In what is essentially a seance, the ghost in question must be present and must accept the corporealization.
If they are fated like Tanner, this does not stop their fated end from coming. If they are cursed, their presence can become a lot more dangerous, though is often necessary if one is attempting to break the curse.
If a seance is not possible, there are magical powders that can be used to coat the ghost, revealing them in the right conditions. These wear off quickly and do not allow their voices to come through like they would via seance.
In some rare circumstances, ghosts can be seen naturally as well. Usually cursed ghosts, who manifest heavily through objects of importance. Places where the sun cannot shine, within reflections, etc.
Fated ghosts are typically only seen naturally if they are in the exact right place in the exact right time-- if they are en route where they would have been, were they still to be alive. That's a very narrow window that they are often not aware of. This can result in things like seeing a ghost walking for a small blip in time, or finding a ghost sleeping in a bed; Disturbed, and they vanish.
There are both types of ghosts in the main story. Tanner and Frigus, who are ghosts of fate, and the past West Wiles and his lineage, who are a set of cursed ghosts.

Emily: This is really satisfying to me, because I come from a family three, and we really fall into those, uh-- we really fall into the Elder, the Reaper, and the Trickster.
Jake: You're the Reaper, right?
Emily: I'm the Reaper.
Murph: No joke, this-- this was, um, inspired a little bit by something your mom said.
Caldwell: What?
Murph: Which is--
Emily: Ohhh!
Murph: Cause the-- the origin story of Emily [Emily laughs.] is that… after her parents had two kids, her mom was like "this is a little too neat. We need like, a little chaos-- like a little-- two kids, two parents is a little too neat. We need like a little something extra."
Emily: She didn't like the symmetry of it, she wanted to add a little chaos.
[Jake and Caldwell laugh.]
Jake: Wow. And then she actually--
Emily: That is truly what my mom said, which is funny cause people always like, associate me with being chaotic, but my mom, before I even existed, wished a little chaos for the family.
Jake: She got a lotta chaos though.
[Emily laughs.]
Murph: So-- so you've got the Elder-- [fades out]

The Barbie movie was one of the weirdest movies I’ve ever seen, and I loved every second of it.
As someone who just knows a bunch of random Barbie doll facts and has a special interest in dolls, I had the time of my life watching that movie lol.
My sister and my mom were so lost with all the doll references, while I was sitting there geeking out when Allan actually said “I’m Allan, I’m Ken’s buddy. All his clothes fit me” like I was so hyped and at the end when I was talking about it they were like “I didn’t even understand who Allan was??” 😭
