TASK #2: MISSÕES

As missões desempenham um papel fundamental no andamento da ordem e da manutenção entre a relação dos deuses para com os semideuses. Com as elas é possível cultivar o equilíbrio do mundo mortal e a vivência dos semideuses, são situações vitais para a proteção das duas realidades. É o modo dos deuses mostrarem para os filhos que eles são necessários, que são importantes e que a coragem deles é valiosa para o Olimpo.

É ativo em uma missão que o semideus conseguirá provar sua coragem, sua lealdade e suas habilidades. O jeito mais fácil de conseguir atrair a atenção de um deus para receber uma benção, por exemplo, é através disso: do esforço e dos riscos. Enfrentar desafios perigosos, superar obstáculos que parecem impossíveis, lutar contra monstros e atingir objetivos impostos para aquela atividade mostra a competência dos semideuses; Imprevistos acontecem, claro, às vezes as missões não são concluídas e voltar vivo já é uma vitória.

Para a defesa do acampamento é sempre bom ter semideuses empenhados nessas atividades, afinal, é adquirindo experiência nessas aventuras externas que os campistas conseguem proteger o lar em que vivem. Cada missão bem-sucedida contribui para a segurança e estabilidade do local sagrado, garantindo que seja um refúgio seguro para os semideuses em meio ao caos do mundo que conhecem.

Já para os deuses, as missões são uma maneira de influenciar diretamente no destino dos semideuses e, por extensão, o curso dos eventos no mundo mortal. Nenhuma designação de tarefas é por acaso, sempre são específicas para um propósito maior.

Na vida de um semideus, é sem dúvida uma parte importante. Muitos esperam anos pela glória de sair em missão, mais ainda em liderar uma dessas. Mas quando o momento chega… é uma experiência única.

E a atividade da vez envolve justamente isso. Cada semideus do acampamento recebeu um kit incomum: um pequeno caderno com capa laranja, uma caneta de tinta preta, uma folha de louro, um isqueiro e uma conta de argila sem pintura. A instrução de Quíron era simples:

PASSO 1: Procure um lugar calmo onde você não vá ser incomodado e escreva no papel os sentimentos mais frequentes que lhe atingiram quando você foi no que considera a missão mais importante de sua vida.

PASSO 2: Acenda o isqueiro e queimei a folha de louro.

Você será transportado de volta para a missão, mais especificamente para o momento mais importante de seu papel nisso. Não existirá amigos para que se preocupe, é apenas você e seu momento. Você sentirá os mesmos sentimentos que colocou no papel e terá a chance de pensar em algo que gostaria de ter mudado nessa situação. As probabilidades aparecerão e você será capaz de ver o que aconteceria se mudasse um ato, uma palavra ou uma escolha específica. Mas atenção, essa mudança ocorrerá apenas em sua mente no momento do transe, ao fim da queima da folha de louro, tudo voltará ao normal como realmente aconteceu.

Quando abrir os olhos, a conta de argila agora terá um desenho, algo que remete a sua missão importante. Toda conta será única, exclusiva. Será a única conta que cada um de vocês conseguirão ter diferente dos colegas.

Para os semideuses que acabaram de voltar de missão, pensem naquela que vocês recém realizaram. Os sentimentos mais frescos tornarão a experiência ainda mais vívida.

Bom pessoal, como prometido, aqui estamos com a task para quem não está em missão no momento, mas não apenas para esses, já que quem está em missão também vai ter a chance de realizar e conseguir um segundo prêmio APÓS a conclusão da futura missão que receberá nos próximos dias.

A task vale o mesmo prêmio que as missões: um dos itens do arsenal.

O prazo para conclusão da task é de 3 semanas, iniciando no dia 09/04 até o dia 30/04. Com excessão para aqueles que estiverem nas missões dessa leva, que terão tempo após o final da missão para fazer, não precisam se apressar e responder os dois ao mesmo tempo.

Caso seu personagem resgate um prêmio com a missão, ele ainda poderá resgatar outro com a task, totalizando dois por personagem, caso cumpra ambas as dinâmicas. Ou só uma se tiver participado apenas de uma delas.

Caso o primeiro prêmio resgatado tenha sido uma arma, o segundo precisa ser obrigatoriamente um artefato. Ou vice versa.

E se seu personagem não participou da primeira leva das missões e não vai participar da segunda leva, você também pode fazer! Basta pensar em uma missão antigo que elu participou, alguma que tenha sido importante para elu.

A task pode ser feita em forma de POV, Headcanons ou uma interação com alguém com quem seu personagem compartilhou a missão, por exemplo. A forma mais indicada seria um POV, mas a escolha é de vocês!

THINGS TO CONSIDER ... 

so you’re creating a kingdom! here are some loose suggestions of areas to touch upon when exploring your character and their home / country. 

- what’s the name of the country and how long has it existed for? - what’s the inspiration behind the civilization ( real world references perhaps? )  - what terrain & interesting architecture / wonders exist?  - are they a large country? are they small? how advanced are they or not at all?  - what’s the country’s affiliation with the world government? are they involved, not involved, a puppet state, erased from history? etc.  - what is their economy, military and cultural norms like?  - what does the country manufacture / trade / import and export? - how do you travel here? is it safe or dangerous? remote or populous?  - what’s the weather like, are their natural disasters or nothing? - what are the people who reside there like? - how religious is the country / it’s people? - are there any unique customs, traditions, languages, myths or legends that exist? 

UPON COMPLETION, make sure to link it in the finished task channel! you’re encouraged to work with other muns should characters have crossed paths! please just make sure each of you submit your own task doc / template etc. muns who complete this before the deadline will receive 200 gold.

Claybourne tasks 02:

Happy weekend, Claybourne! We are now halfway through January and as we move through 2022, it is time to get to know the residents of Claybourne even better! This time where do you live? A house tells you a lot about a person, so our second task is to create a moodboard or post showcasing aesthetics for your characters home. You can tag your moodboards or picture posts with claybournehome and hopefully we should be able to find them easily enough. You can also tag the starter blog, if you wish.

Richard is a fearsome, intimidating figure, who absolutely melts around his three daughters. He might be a little absentee, as a finance man, but he makes up for the time he spends at work instead of at home with a huge salary, family money, and credit cards for each of his daughters. He refuses to see anything but the best in them, and always believes that they are not at fault. ....Except for Sav sometimes. 

Mother - Susanne Grey

Susanne may be a stay at home mother, but that also doesn’t mean she’s ever been hands on. A former model, she was always a little bit more of a trophy wife, rather than a mom, and as she’s aged, she’s just kinda found it hard to keep track of all three of them. One of them is always up to something. Sedona is her favorite, but she won’t admit that out loud. Unless she’s a couple of glasses of wine in. 

Eldest Sister - Sierra Grey (Libra - September 29th, 2000)

Sierra is still in college, and she’s the one Sav really learned her partying ways from. Her friends were always amused by the middle Grey tagging along, and it’s safe to say they were not good influences. Sierra is a loose cannon, and has no idea what she wants to do with her life. She’s extremely kind-hearted and actually one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, with good advice, if you can ever pin her down long enough to get her to have a conversation. 

Youngest Sister - Sedona Grey (Cancer - July 19th, 2003)

Sedona is the least pretentious of all of the daughters, even though she’s the most spoiled. She’s actually hard-working, and plans to follow in their father’s footsteps into finance. She is your typical, bratty youngest sister. She tries to keep Sav and Sierra in line, but does that by tattling on them to their parents constantly, which really has just ended up with Sedona getting left out of their more risky adventures.

Mel is the daughter of Richard’s younger brother. She and Sav are extremely close, and Mel also attends Luxor. Although she is technically a year younger than Sav, they’re in the same grade since Sav had to repeat kindergarten (lol). She’s actually fairly smart, though she is fairly naive/easily manipulated, and extremely spoiled, and so she definitely comes off even more out of touch then Savannah. She has the feels like your typical pisces, but the resting bitch face definitely comes from that scorpio rising. 

Jillian Grey-Kennedy (Kathryn Hahn) - 50 years old

Kyle Kennedy (Danielle Campbell) - 24 years old (Aries)

Kyle is the oldest cousin on the Grey side, the daughter of Richard’s sister. She grew up in Texas, as Jillian Grey moved there to marry the son of an oil baron, just increasing how rich that family was. Kyle was a competitive gymnast who was on track to go to the Olympics until she had a devastating injury, and then she moved out to Los Angeles and is working as a bartender and fucking around because she has no idea what else to do. She’s kinda a huge bitch, and doesn’t get along with the rest of the cousins as well, but she’s still around when they need her to be.

George sat on the interrogation chair, hands clasped in front of him, with a detective sat in front him. A table separating them, holding two cups of coffee and a bag of chips. Tiny cuts could be seen across his face as proof of what had happened that night in the Holy Cannoli. Something that made his current situation uncomfortable and confusing. Everything he had had to say he had said the night of the fire. Everything he knew.

"I'm not sure how much more I could help," he answered, fingers twitching reaching for his cup. Calm. George was everything but calm. The only thing that kept him in that chair, instead of pacing around the small room, were the years of training he had lived through under his parents. Expectations could make someone's entire personality a lie. "I was walking after a long night of helping the local greenhouse. The smell of something burning led me near the Holy Cannoli. That is when I saw Nina. A couple of seconds later a small explosion happened," he breathed in deeply, the memory of what happened still present in his mind. "I couldnt not check, you? I had to know. Had to make sure there was no one inside, but it was too late. I couldn't go in, and when I tried to look through a window...well, you know." George gestured to his face, smiling sadly. Small scabs that would heal and disappear, but the memory of it all will never leave.

task002 - de quem é a coroa? 

               O mais forte é o merecedor. Essa é a resposta mais direta e óbvia que poderá ouvir pela voz de Bharash. Entretanto, não é necessariamente o que ele pensa sobre o destino da coroa. Injustiça ou não, a princesa Allura tem total direito de tomar posse como a nova regente. Primogênita do rei Alexandre e, claramente, muito mais imponente que o paladino Arthur, que ainda parecia uma criança, não apenas de feição, o bárbaro o via como um jovem incapaz de tomar as rédeas de um reino.

               Não se importa em nada com a posição de sua guilda quanto ao destino da coroa, afinal, apenas a ideia de ter um supremo já não lhe era a mais interessante. Teria poderes em não muito tempo? Claramente que sim, mas sempre viveria abaixo da sombra de um soberano ou soberana. O Byl não concordava totalmente com a ideia de uma mesma família dominar Brightland eternamente, o mesmo valia para as guildas. Como bem crê: o poder deve ser do mais forte, não do sangue mais puro. Está com Allura nessa, mesmo que com apoio velado.
