On the "Wierszokleta" one. It is not concidered a compliment. Usually the poets done by a person are shitty/not really thought through. Im not saying Dandelion is a Bad poet because most definietly he is great, Just this example of a word May not be the Best in this situation!

no yea, that was the intent of it being used! in this scene specifically, drouhard is trying his best to introduce dandelion, but drouhard’s severe lack of eloquence and forethought made him mess up and reveal what he actually thinks about him... 

i assume the other places in the books when dandelion is called “poetaster” it’s the same word being translated to “poetaster” (other one i can think of off the top of my head is when milva threatens to smack him between the eyes telling him to give her the mandrake booze lol)
