I STILL CAN'T GET OVER HOW IN THE BEGINNING, CALE PUSHED EVERYONE AWAY. You may say it's because of how "dangerous" and "trouble packed" their journey will be in the story later on— BUT. I JUST CANT HELP BUT FEEL LIKE MAYBE , JUST MAYBE. He didn't want them to be affected by his "curse" (side effect of WS) whether he knew about it or not. Just consider the fact that he KNOWS what will happen to them and how they'll be fighting for a better world and it'd be MUCH better if he's not there. Just in case he worsens whatever will happen.

I’m a night late (because I was too tired to figure out how splatnet photo saving worked lol) but I wanted to share some of my photos from Grand Fest, as well as get a bit sappy about the whole thing <3

Even if I basically never talk about it, Splatoon has been such an important part of my life for literally almost a decade now. It’s actually the reason I’m on Tumblr to begin with, since I followed some artists here from DA whose Splatoon 1 art I absolutely adored. (What’s even crazier is that they all still post sometimes! Like we are all still here after 8-9 years that’s kinda crazy.) It’s a funny online fandom origin story (at least for my standards), but considering how much Splatoon there was in my brain when I was 12, it also makes sense. Like, my bedroom is literally painted blue with an orange accent wall because of Splatoon, that’s how deep this went lol

Splatoon 3 has been basically everything I ever dreamed of when I was younger, because now not only can the game put on events like this, I had a ton of friends to experience it with, which I didn’t have in such abundance back in middle school! @sl33pyr3v3ri3 (5th pic) and @verypinkgirl (7th pic) were my buddies on Team Past, but having vc solidarity with friends in Teams Present and Future was also incredibly fun, even if I’m a sore winner and loser lmao. I love you all so very much, and thank you for all the fun times with this silly game 💖

Getting to rep the Squid Sisters on Team Past and then actually win the whole fest was more than I ever could have hoped for, and I think that my younger self would be incredibly proud of us! GGs to the other teams, and I hope we’ll all meet again in Splatoon 4!!
