Tavlira was taught the wilds by her mother and grandfather; her father's side prefers the arcane, but she didn't take after those talents. 26. She carries a locket from her mother with a small portait inside. It's crude, an unskilled hand painting in a much too small space. If she squints, Tavlira thinks she can maybe make out her parents faces, but it's mostly to slightly-different gray blobs. She doesn't wear it around her neck though, too easy to lose that way. It's tucked at the bottom of her pack.
