Huawei sub-brand Honor today announced it will unveil a new smartphone on May 20, dubbed Honor X10. Honor took to Weibo to make this announcement, where it also shared a poster which confirms the X10 will support 5G networks. The company didn't share any other details about the X10, but thanks to TENAA, we know the smartphone will be powered by the Kirin 820 SoC and pack a 6.63" LCD of FullHD+ resolution. The Honor X10 will sport a 40MP Sony IMX600y main camera on the back which will be joined by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro or depth modules. For selfies and video calls, you'll get a 16MP camera. The X10 will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and pack a 4,200 mAh battery that will draw power through a USB-C port at up to 22.5W. Honor 9C The Honor 9C is built around a 6.39-inch HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner for the 8MP selfie cam. The spec sheet features a lot of similarities with the Honor Play 4T including a 48MP main camera with autofocus but the 9C also boasts an 8MP ultrawide shooter alongside the 2MP depth helper. Around the back, we find a 13MP main shooter and a 5MP secondary snapper. Under the hood, the Honor 9A comes with the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC alongside 3GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The device also packs a large 5,000 mAh battery, NFC and a fingerprint reader around the back. The software front is covered by Magic UI 3.1 on top of Android 10. It’s already up for pre-order in black, blue and green colors for RUB 10,990 ($150/€138). Honor 9S The Honor 9S is the most affordable out of the three new phones. It comes with a 5.45-inch panel with a 1440 x 720 pixels resolution and a 5MP front-facing camera. The back features a single 8MP main camera. The Helio P22 sits at the helm aided by 2GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. The battery comes in at 3,020 mAh. The phone boots Magic UI 3.1 on top of Android 10. Honor's latest midranger - the Honor 9X Pro - is going on sale in global markets. Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands are the first three to get it. Those who act fast and purchase it by the end of today, April 17, will receive a coupon worth €30 to redeem on other purchases on site, as well as a free pair of Honor Sports Pro earphones. Meanwhile the company also marked the conclusion of its “Global Fans Day 2020” sales campaign, which ended with 106,000 new fans in overseas markets. During the two-week period, the brand’s online store saw 325 million visits, Honor revealed in a press release. From all those millions of visits, Honor managed to gather more than 106,000 registered members of the website, and this number excludes Chinese registrations. Honor introduced a “new” handset for the Italian market. The Honor 20E is largely based on the Honor 20 lite (also known as the Honor 10i in some markets) with the only difference being it sports an 8MP selfie cam instead of the 32MP one in the Honor 20 Lite. The front houses a 6,21” IPS display with FHD+ and a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie cam and a tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
