Oh geez. Hmm. Lemme go look up what the seven deadly sins are real quick (I remembered like, 3 of them, off the top of my head lol)

Gluttony - I... don't really have anyone that fits this in the traditional sense.

Pride - Hey Malachiah, you wanna take this one, you bitch? :') (I mean, she is a goddess, but whatevs)

Sloth - I'll give this to Kadin, although he could easily fill lust as well. My boy is not a fan of hard work; he just wants to relax and have fun. In a lustful way LOL

Lust - I give up. Kadin. 😂

Envy - Suppose I'll give this one to Alaia. She wants *so badly* to just be normal. Sorry girl, you're anything but. She doesn't really embrace the bad qualities that go along with this sin though; really, she goes in the opposite way in day to day practice. Sometimes overly so.

Wrath - Well, this is definitely going to Carr. She's filled with so much rage early on, although it has definitely improved since she met Resh.

Greed - Gonna go with Warren for this. His greed is for more power over material goods, but still counts, I think.

Warren, Malachiah, Kadin, and Alaia are from Shattered Dreams.

Carr is from Hidden Depths.

~Biographical Information~ July 30th, EC 1493 Age: 14 (which in his species, would be ancient but Lust behaving like a Young adult) Classification: Mutated Lizard (with tons of DNA cramped up into one creature including Youkai and Lunarian) Gender: Male in Lizard form and female in Humanoid form Sexual Orientation: Bisexual Hair Color: Light Purple (in Normal form) and Blue (In Humanoid form) Eye Color: Green (in Normal form) and Blue (in Humanoid form) Affiliation(s): Northern Maistia, Gensokyo

Lust born Subject 96th has been experimented on since He was hatched to the point that His body can no longer reject any creature's DNA until a Miracle happened, where He broke out of the tank due to the Robotic Figure and escaped to Toxic Disposal which is where He got accidentally impaled by Venom Sword and being around radioactive around him causing him to mutant even further

Later on, He was raised and trained by Cryptid Trios to become their Ally and inject more DNA into him (specifically Turtle to slow down Aging, Chimps for Sociality, and Dolphins to boost Hedonism) but They avoided giving him Human DNA as it can make him Hesitation. They have given his codename "Lust"

Once They're finished training him, New Sinners went on raiding Heavenly Yard and failed. Lust punishment is getting sent to the world where every Woman there can kick his ass which is Gensokyo

Once He was sent there, he struggled to survive for the first few weeks but He was eventually able to adapt and finally gain Human DNA which caused Lust to grow hair and be able to talk in Human Language

Later on, Lust got taken into Eientei so He could be studied by the Lunarian there, a year later, Lust got sent to the Lunar Capital as a Messager while He fought one of the princess there in the usual Touhou manner, He was able to inject Lunarian DNA but Lunarian Blood is so Pure, It's completely turn him into a young female humanoid

A few days later after getting sent back to Gensokyo, Lust realized why it had been so weak for the past year as it had almost no sin power at all and it couldn't attract anybody in either form as He/She either too hideous or too young

this gives Lust the idea when He/She sees the Prismriver sisters performance that it can gain fans who will love and worship her in humanoid form (basically simping but not in a sexual way, it's in the cute way)

After another year of Performance, Lust got sent back to her homeworld where he along with other New Sinners continued what they left off but now stronger and smarter than ever

Lust gets into a fight with Kayo Sudou where He terrorizes Jakoku and They both fight to the death with Mutual Kills

Later on Sloth (who has no soul) gets sent to Hellish Yard to get Lust and Wrath's souls back

After the War ended, the Trios gave other Sinners a choice to either stay with them and face their consequences or leave for their punishment turned new homeworld, Lust chose Latter

but When Lust got sent back, He realized this isn't his Gensokyo as He saw a young girl with a book that could summon all the people that he had met and reskins of them

this drove Lust to jealousy and hated that young girl able to get everyone to love her while He took years to struggle to even ally with one of them so a new Conflict begins

Trivia: - Lust shared the same birthday as her Vocaloid representation - I have been avoiding doing anything related to Venomania such as building Harem - Lust never had sexualized her Idol Persona - Lust has been inspired by Hoshino Ai from Oshi no Ko who is Idol who lies and somewhat manipulative about loving her fans but with fewer redeem Qualities than Ai did - Lust has 3 variations like Vocaloid counterpart, Sugar being casual, Spicy when performing and Talk EX is in between Lizard and Humanoid (completed with Scales, stilt eyes, and tail)

behind the scenes

this post contains spoilers for my series “delicate edges.” below the cut you will find a breakdown of each chapter, which I advise reading only after you’ve completed reading the chapter it corresponds with. happy reading!

chapter 1

there’s a four year age difference between aemond and reader (making her 6 and him 10 when they first meet, and her 16 and him 20 ten years later)

although reader is technically piper!reader (simply because I wanted to write for a house that wasn’t targaryen or valaryian) that does not mean that she has to have the trademark traits of said house (since members of house piper typically have red hair)

reader’s father is master of laws on viserys’ small council- remember that…

chapter 2

the celastrina ladon (or aztec blue) that Helaena refers to whilst complimenting the reader’s dress, is a butterfly with light blueish wings

the summer solstice traditions mentioned (enjoying the tourney, watching the sun set, dancing, lighting bonfires etc.) were adapted from nordic traditions

it’s implied that the reader’s view on jousting and tournaments takes after aemond’s (and the point is further reiterated when her father recalls a time where she used to enjoy such festivities)

as mentioned earlier in the chapter, there is often something hidden amongst helaena’s thoughts, emotions, feelings far beyond what words say, and her outburst before ser flowers asks for the readers hand is meant to imply that she is privy to something not yet revealed 👀

as mentioned earlier in the chapter, reader’s dress is blue and the ribbons in her hair are purple…blue and purple are the colors of aemond’s “eyes”

a lot of inspiration for this chapter was drawn from the seven deadly sins of the catholic church (I am by no means religious, but I used the seven deadly sins as a blueprint for similar sins I believe the faith would condemn) so we see aemond specifically grappling with feelings of lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride

a lot of aemond's frustrations come from him not being able to "understand" the reader/what she's trying to relay to him, but from a different point of view (her father's) we see that they understand each other better than either one of them realizes

how do sins work in regemption? is it like a classification system? like a way for demons to identify each other. do they have certain abilities or characteristics? (eg. lust bound demons being horny on main 24/7 or gluttony bounds being able to eat)

A very LOOSE guide is that they also tend to follow the colours associated with each sin (red wrath, orange gluttony, yellow greed, green envy, light blue sloth, blue lust, purple pride) but that is by no means a requirement (like zircon is pink (but zircon is typically thought if as a blue gem irl even tho it can be any colour so she does technically fit but for plot reasons she's pink ok)) and in terms of the characters that exist the "rule" is broken more than followed (iolite is blue purple but is wrath, serpentine is green but is lust) and obviously bicolours like alexandrite and bloodstone would have trouble fitting into that anyway lol

so me and my friend Kate discussed another neat idea for Beetlejuice and it’s the color of the dead people’s skin

Kate basically said, “you know how Miss Argentina is an unhappy pageant queen? she’s literally green with envy” and that got us on the discussion of if the dead people’s skin color or color on them (because sometimes they don’t have complexion tone but do have a specific color on them) is based on a certain sin they heavily acted on in their life

the colors of the seven deadly sins are: greed- yellow; lust- blue; wrath- red; envy- green; pride- purple; gluttony- orange; sloth- light blue

Miss Argentina has green skin, so her sin is envy

parachute man is green, so also envy

toaster lady’s towel is light blue, so sloth

cigar man is completely charred, but his suit is purple, so pride

the Groom is blue, so lust

the Jockey is red, so wrath

and the exploded man is light blue, so sloth

but then there’s also Juno and Beetlejuice, who don’t have a certain skin color, but do have colors associated with them and they are technically dead so

Juno has a lot of red, so wrath

and BJ has green, purple, and red, so envy, pride, and wrath

and then you think about it, a lot of them kinda make sense

Facial Features: Aside from the Vallaslin? I mean, his face isn’t particular round, nor is it particularly angular. I always thought of him as being generically pretty. Like without the whole Mythal’s tree and his ridiculous floppy hair and flower crown, you’d still think of him as being pretty, but not necessarily so memorable that looking back at memories of him, he wouldn’t have gotten a bit fuzzy over time. He stands out, but not necessarily for his face.

But there is respect there, and genuine affection under the mostly feigned irritation. 

Mandy Arixan -- a local mender with a ridiculous accent and zero tact who has somehow wormed her way into “Friend” status (dare I say, best friend status, but only by virtue of limited competition). They smoke a lot of moko weed together. 

R’mhati Tia -- hot mess of a bard who is always up for some sardonic snarking. He reminds Elijah of himself at that age, a fact he keeps to himself so he doesn’t get punched in the nose. 

Kumo Kaze and Anya Kesmit -- a very well meaning, if naïve, Raen and his extremely competent and lovely Sea Wolf ladyfriend. Kumo is under the misguided impression that Elijah is cool. He is mistaken. 

Fain Perry -- a failson from Ala Mhigan nobility, self styled ‘treasure hunter’ with a penchant for explosives and not being murdered by multiple attempted murderers. Has never planned ahead a day in his life. Against all odds Elijah enjoys his company, if only to glimpse the fascinating inner workings of a supremely uncomplicated mind. They’re dating.
