Techno String =Technotic Rush Attack - The Techno String allows Branch to move in burst speed to land a decisive blow

Funk String = Funky Loops - Branch goes in a circle and plays a funky tune snaring enemies or trapping them

Pop String = Popping Tune - As Branch is already as Pop Troll the String will channel in Branch hugtime bracelets helping him heal himself from injuries (Like in Remix Rescue but you can argue it a built in system but the string makes it stronger)

Country String = Haymaker Blow - Makes Branch physical attack a lot more powerful and stomp cause a bit of a shake

Classical String = Resounding Parry - Allows Branch to use his hand to parry attacks in a classical tune

All Strings = Super Form/Troll Transformation - The Strings all together lets Branch turn into a super form making him almost invincible or like Barb turn any troll into a Pop Troll or any genre he chooses

I’ve been informally working with a co-worker answering questions about building out hybrid native applications and it’s been wonderful. I also had opportunity to work on more React Native to iOS code with another developer. Total blast. It hit all my happy buttons.

Without going into details (that’s what the technote is for), Acorn’s file format is a SQLite database, with a simple three-table schema, containing TIFF or PNG bitmaps to represent bitmap layers, and a plist to represent shape layers. Acorn has kept this simple format since version 2.0 back in 2009.

At some point I’d opened an Acorn file in Base, my database editing app of choice, and realized it was actually a SQLite database. Nifty!

Given Gus is the creator and maintainer of FMDB it kind of makes sense. 😃 (I use FMDB in Stream.)

I watched a documentary on Netflix called [Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies, & Scandal(https://time.com/6977627/netflix-ashley-madison-documentary-true-story) a couple nights back and it was absolutely fascinating.

As far as I know the person or persons behind the hack have never been found! That is just amazing to me. Their saving grace is they did it for cultural reasons, not for money. After making their demand for the company to shut down they simply delivered on their threat to release the data they’d stolen. No money demand.

It’s worth a watch.🍿

I recently downloaded the Metro 2.0 from . I wanted to install it on my Tomcat 6 (apache-tomcat-6.0.18) with JDK (1.6.0_10) I followed Java example in the "Getting started with Metro" guide from https://metro.java.net/getting-started/basic.html Below are the issues I ran into during this process so thought of posting this for others benefit. Issue #1 : Tomcat endorsed directory location in Ant build.xml When you run the "server" target in build.xml it throws following error message. C:wsit-jaxws-fromjava>ant -Duse.tomcat=true server Buildfile: build.xml BUILD FAILED C:wsit-jaxws-fromjavabuild.xml:129: C:Toolsapache-tomcat-6.0.18commonendorsed not found. Total time: 0 seconds This issue is due the wrong directory path for lib.endorsed in build.xml to fix this issue open the wsit-jaxws-fromjavabuild.xml file and search for following Change the directory value $catalina.home/common/endorsed to $catalina.home/endorsed as shown below and save the build.xml file. Now run the "ant -Duse.tomcat=true server" command again, build should be successful. Issue #2 : The xendorsed option is required for JDK6 Once the you are done generating the server side for this web service you need to generate the client sources for the same sample service. When I run the "ant -Duse.tomcat=true client" command I get following error message and build is failed again. C:wsit-jaxws-fromjava>ant -Duse.tomcat=true client Buildfile: build.xml Trying to override old definition of task apt setup: generate-client: BUILD FAILED C:wsit-jaxws-fromjavabuild.xml:192: You are running on JDK6 which comes with JAX-WS 2.1 API, but this tool requires JAX-WS 2.2 API. Use the endorsed standards override mechanism (http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/standards/), or set xendorsed="true" on . Total time: 0 seconds As the message says it clearly, this problem is due to the JDK6 being shipped with older version of JAX-WS API. To make the tag use a override on this you need to add one more attribute xendorsed="true" in the tag in Ant build.xml file. Open the build.xml file and look for below tag Now change this to add a new attribute as shown below. Now run the "ant -Duse.tomcat=true client" command again, and this time it should generate all your client sources properly. Issue #3 : Using the endorsed directory in JDK6 When I run the client using command "ant -Duse.tomcat=true run", it gives me below error. To avoid this error you need to copy the endorsedwebservices-api.jar file to /jre/lib/endorsed directory if /jre/lib/endorsed directory does not exist in your system create it and copy the webservices-api.jar file here. For more details on endorsed directory read details at http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/standards/ Now run the command "ant run" you should see the successful output. Ismerkedés a technós nőkkel

            Kutatásunk első lépéseiként interjút készítettünk azokkal az emberekkel az ismerőseink közül akikről tudjuk, hogy techno bulikba járnak. Célunk az volt, hogy a szcéna ismerőitől tájékozódjunk a magyar techno tulajdonságairól. Ugyanakkor az ismeretlen interjúalanyok keresése sem volt egyszerű, mivel bár a közösségi média felületeken megtaláltuk őket, de interjúra rábírni őket már nagyobb feladat volt.

            A következőkben az első tájékozódó interjúnk rövidített feldolgozott anyagát olvashatjátok, amiben vissza fogunk utalni a korábban tárgyalt Armstrong cikkre. Az interjúalanyaink 25-35 év közötti nők voltak és mind a fővárosban élnek.

            Techno bulikba közösen 2016 óta járnak, akkor még nem csak magyarországi bulikban vettek részt, mivel egyikük Hollandiában élt, így többféle tapasztalatról is beszámoltak. Azonban a lányok között volt olyan is aki 2010 óta mozog a techno szcénába.

            A beavatási szertartás a világba, mindhárom lány számára a drogok használatával kezdődött, azokról a bulikról amikben még nem fogyasztottak kábítószert negatívan nyilatkoznak: „nem értettem, hogy miért jó ez, hogy monoton zenére lépegetnek az emberek, aztán drogoztam, és azóta imádom”. Később emellett a közösséget és a saját barátaikat is mesélik, mint összefogó erő a színtéren belül.

            Zenei stílusként az acidot, houset és melodic technot említették meg, amit szívesen hallgatnak, a dark technot túl „baszatós”-nak és durvának ítélték, a színtéren kívül pedig drum and bass és goa bulikba járnak gyakran.

            „Nekem az, hogy békén hagynak és el tok lenni a világomba.” „Itt mindenki el van a kis világába, látja, hogyha nem akarsz beszélgetni, és észreveszi, akkor elmegy nem tudom, hova szóval ez, hogy így itt el tudsz lenni.” „Vagy így szeretne az ember itt táncolni, van ez a lépegető stílus, amit mindenki használ, és így kb. megáll itt a sztori” A techno szerintük ezért más mint egy másfajta buli. „Azt, hogy például a csávók nem jönnek rám úgy, mint mondjuk elmegyek ... egy másmilyen ... és elkezdem ott nyomni neki, mint az állat /táncolásra gondol/, és tudod így jönnek, így cápáznak, hogy hagyjatok már békén a f*ba.” Itt szeretnék visszautalni az Armstrong-ot feldolgozó bejegyzésünkre, ahol a tekintet (gaze) megváltozásáról írunk, ezek a nők is azt említik meg, hogy az a szabadság amit a techno színtér jelent, ahol nem úgy figyelik egymást a résztvevők, mint akik prédát keresnek, ez a számukra fontos tulajdonsága a szcénának. Ugyanígy ahogy Armstrong és Thornton kutatásai is leírják a tánc összekötő ereje hatja át a színteret, egyértelműen látszik, az emberek a szerhasználat mellett, táncolni szeretnének.

            A színtér felszabadító erejéről, egy másik technoba járó ismerősömmel beszélve is sikerült elkapnom egy nagyon hasznos mondatot: „ ... egyszerre közösségi, de közben nagyon magányos is, a zenében közösen ott vagyunk, de én a saját világomban is ott vagyok. ... Nem nőként vagyok jelen a bulikban.” Úgy gondolom ezek a mondatok nagyon választékosan szemléltetik, hogy a magyar techno szcéna populáris bulijaiban is megjelenik a korábban bemutatott szabadabb közeg.

            Az öltözködés elfogadottságát is felhozták az interjúalanyaim, amikor arról beszéltünk biztonságos-e a szcéna az első példa ez volt egyiküktől: „Mondjuk egy nagyon kirívó felsőben vagy ilyen kurvásan vagyok kiöltözve, és mondjuk elmegyek egy techno buliba, akkor kevésbé fogom kellemetlenül érezni magam, mert még lesz egy csomó másik lány, aki ugyanígy akarja kifejezni magát az öltözködésén keresztül ... ugyanebben a ruhába elmennék a fogasba, akkor lehet, hogy ott nagyobb népszerűségnek örvendenék, ... még mindig biztonságosabbnak tartok egy technós közeget, mint mondjuk egy mainstream bulit.”

            Ugyanakkor azt is kiemelték, a magyar közeg teljesen más mint egy berlini buli, ahol sokkal felszabadultabbak az emberek: „simán elmész egy szál csöcsbe is bulizni, és senki meg nem botránkozik rajta, tehát hogy lemennél ilyen izé, nem tudom, szegecses, faszom tudja milyen ruhákba, senkit nem érdekelne ott” /az ott Berlinre utal/.

            Amikor arról kérdeztem őket hogy oszlik el a nemek aránya, azt mondták erre nem szoktak figyelni, mivel nem azért vannak ott, hogy párt keressenek. Valamint a fentebb már idézett mondatra is visszautalnék, ahol azt állította a beszélgető partnerem, hogy ez a bulizási forma egyszerre magányos is, nem csak közösségi, ezért is lehet hogy ezt nem figyelték meg az interjúalanyaim.

            A technot és az elektronikus zenét elválaszthatatlannak ítélték meg a drogoktól, ezt már Thornton kezdeti rave kultúra kutatásaiból is láthatjuk, és ez az előzetes interjú megerősítette a magyar színtér is leképezi ezt.

            Az öltözködés ami a kutatásunk fókuszában van, ebben az interjúban az első pár megjegyzés ellenére amiket korábban idéztem, nem volt fontos az interjúalanyaim számára. Az egyikük ezt mondta: „nem tulajdonítanék neki, ��n például, az öltözködésnek akkora dolgot, ... nem lényeges”. Az interjú során felmerült, hogy a fiatalabb generáció az akinek az öltözködés része fontos a szubkultúrának, az interjúalanyaim a táncra, zenére és a szerhasználatra fókuszálnak. Mindennek ellenére, kicsit negatív érzéssel beszéltek a fiatalabb generációról, akik nagy hangsúlyt fektetnek a ruhákra, a „megfelelő” megjelenésre. A következő idézetből tökéletesen látható, hogy van egy ellenszenv a fiatalabb öltözködés hangsúlyos bulizókkal szemben: „vannak ezek a divat techno emberek, ... azokat a dolgokat aggatja magára, ami azt gondolja, hogy na, ezt technós. Mindegy, hogy az összeillik vagy nem, hogy amúgy az önazonos vagy nem, és akkor így magukra aggatnak mindent, ami fekete, és nem tudom mi ... és nem tudom, engem kiráz a hideg kicsit. ... Nem ’rosszarc-ság’ kicsit van bennem egy ilyen ítélkezés ezzel. ... Sznobság. ... Sznobság, hogy a techno a lelkedbe van, nem a kinézetet.” Az idősebb szubkulturális résztvevő kapuőrként áll a térre most belépő fiatalok előtt, akik a maguk stílusára formálják a szubkultúrát.

            Az interjú nagyon hasznos volt a kutatásunk orientálásának szempontjából, a kutatói érdeklődésünket a fiatalabb Z-generációs bulizók irányába kell fordítanunk. Voltakép az interjúalanyaim elmondásai és megfigyelései alapján számukra fontos az öltözködés és a szubkultúrához tartozás vizuális megjelenítése is. Ugyanakkor a techno színtér nők számára biztonságos érzetét megerősítették az interjúalanyaim is, és a férfi-tekintet alóli alkalmi felszabadulás megélése is megjelent náluk.

            Mindemellett azt is fontosnak tartom megemlíteni, hogy ez nem egy reprezentatív minta, a színtérben mozogva, ahogy az interjúalanyaim is elmondták, sokféle emberrel találkozhatunk, zenei stílusonként is változó a bulizó közönség és szórakozóhelyenként is, ennek okán egységes közeget nehéz körül határolni. /A/
