Incomplete.
Being different doesn't mean being unique, it just means you don't fit into the norms of the society. It also refers to people giving you weird looks on your opinions with their minds filled with questions like "what are they talking about ?" , "Where do they get ideas like these?", "Which world are they living in? ". I have always questioned myself why i live in a society like this but that's it, i can't go further. You may be wondering why; its because all the societies have the same norms just displayed in a different way.

Why
Sometimes you ask why you did that Why you thought of that Why you let that to happen And then someone will tell you Why did you do that? Why are you stupid? Why won't you listen? Then in the end all you ever think of is Why don't you just kill yourself?

Perspectives’ hiprocritical society
It seems that in life even as a 17 year old I have encountered some rather intellectually lacking individuals and I feel that these are the people who complain about societal norms that they have a part in creating. For example people “suggest” ways for my friend group to be more social and interactive and then constantly nag and complain about how their individuality is targeted because they’re different. Perspective only exists when your perspective is questioned but it’s alright to undermine or change someone else? I don’t think so.
Society keeps complaining about society and we forget that we playa role in what societal circles and groups we fall into. It’s like how my mother can smile everyday for my me and my brothers after my sister passed away, but people constantly complain about their weight or something else trivial to my perspective and it has taught me that perspective and hipocracy only work together if you make them. It’s okay to complain about what’s bothering you; but consider what it means for someone else’s perspective.

You went. But not in the way a bird takes flight, or how we used jump into the ocean on a summer’s morning. You went like the comfort of the fall, before it turns into winter. Because although the temperatures drop gradually, no one realizes the winter has come until it takes over. Every day in the fall you’d go out on your balcony at five in the afternoon to smoke a cigarette and contemplate on the sunset. But as the winter’s stiff claws surround you, the hand with which you held that ever so comforting cigarette no longer lays casually on the railing. Because the sharpness of the wind from which you had been numb suddenly forbids your fingers to move the way they used to. Winter was always coming, but I never thought about how it would be when it stayed.

Part of the reason why it's so hard to talk to my parents is because it always leads the subject of school and education. Coming from a family of immigrants, every conversation always turns into a reminder of how much they had to sacrifice to get us to where we are right now (which I am grateful for). So I need to pay them back by studying really hard and focusing on my education. "It cannot be taken from you, it is essentially your own" is a common line that they use to describe my knowledge. But sometimes I just want to talk to them about how their day went and actually get to know them as a person. I want to know what the worst thing was that happened to them today, or what their opinions are on global climate change. Often, they brush off these topics as unimportant..."what does this have to do with school?" "I don't care." "I'm not working hard everyday for you to just goof around." And then I end realizing that I live in a house full of strangers
