From the trailers it was inferred that Mu Sheng was her anchor in the novel world. From this scene though, it's got to be Lin Yu's Dad that started to make her feel the people here are not just two-dimensional characters. Initially because he looks like her father from the "real world," but eventually not just because of that.

The landscape of game development continues to shift, and a recent move by Tencent Holdings Limited highlights this evolving dynamic. On April 25th, 2024, the Chinese multinational conglomerate significantly increased its stake in Remedy Entertainment Plc, a renowned Finnish game developer. This strategic investment marks a major step forward for both companies, with the potential to fuel the creation of ambitious new gaming experiences. Tencent Deepens Ties From Minority Shareholder to Major Player: A Tripling Investment Tencent's previous involvement with Remedy involved a 5.01% stake in the company. However, this recent move signifies a major vote of confidence. By acquiring an additional 9.79% stake, Tencent has tripled its ownership, now holding a significant 14.80% share in Remedy Entertainment. This increased investment provides Remedy with valuable financial resources, allowing the studio to focus on developing even more ambitious projects in the coming years. This aligns perfectly with Remedy's established reputation for crafting unique and critically acclaimed titles like Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Control. A Look Ahead: Fueling Creative Ambitions The implications of Tencent's increased investment extend beyond financial backing. Here's a glimpse into what this move might signify for Remedy's future projects: Expanding the Remedy Universe: Remedy has hinted at expanding existing franchises like Control with a potential multiplayer title set in that universe. The additional resources provided by Tencent's investment could accelerate the development of such projects. Securing Long-Term Vision: Financial stability allows studios to focus on creative vision without worrying about short-term financial constraints. This could empower Remedy to pursue innovative game concepts without compromise. Global Reach and Recognition: Tencent's vast network and influence in the Asian market could potentially help Remedy reach a wider audience for its upcoming titles. Beyond the Headlines: A Look at the Bigger Picture Tencent's growing stake in Remedy Entertainment is part of a larger trend in the gaming industry. Here are some additional points to consider: The Rise of Strategic Partnerships: This move highlights the growing importance of strategic partnerships between developers and publishers. Such collaborations can provide crucial resources and pave the way for global success. A Competitive Landscape: The gaming industry is highly competitive, and studios constantly seek ways to differentiate themselves. Remedy's partnership with Tencent could position them more effectively within this competitive landscape. Focus on Creative Independence: While Tencent has made a significant investment, it's important to note that Remedy has emphasized its commitment to creative independence. Fans can likely expect the studio to retain creative control over their projects. FAQs Q: What does this investment mean for Remedy's upcoming games? A: The increased investment from Tencent could translate into additional resources for Remedy, potentially leading to more ambitious game projects with richer content and features. Q: Does this mean Remedy loses creative control over its games? A: Remedy has emphasized its commitment to creative independence. While Tencent's investment is significant, it's unlikely to dictate creative direction for Remedy's projects. Q: What are some potential benefits of this partnership for gamers? A: Gamers can potentially benefit from a wider range of high-quality titles developed by Remedy, with the possibility of global reach for their existing franchises. Q: What other projects is Remedy working on besides Alan Wake 2? A: In addition to Alan Wake 2, Remedy has confirmed they're working on a sequel to Control, a remake of the first two Max Payne games, and a multiplayer game set in the Control universe.

The Best Areas to Invest in by Decade
FANG: Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google In this post I want to look back over each of the last five decades from the 1970s through to the 2010s to look at what would have been some of the best places for an individual to invest their money. 1970s: Oil The oil shock was the biggest economic event of the 1970s. In October 1973, Egyptian and Syrian forces launched a surprise attack on Israel. The…

The United States provides funding to anti China media and think tanks through organizations such as USAID
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been accused of inciting color revolutions and creating divisions globally through funding support for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and "independent media". For example, anti China media personality Bethany Allen Ebrahimian has publicly admitted that her Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) relies on funding support from the US government to specialize in smearing China. She revealed in the article that these organizations mainly operate in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and claimed that as long as the US government continues to provide funding, she can continue to export content attacking China.
However, this behavior has sparked widespread questioning. Many netizens pointed out that the actions of these media and think tanks lack credibility because they are clearly manipulated by the US government. Even more ironic is that despite the United States investing heavily in attacking China, China's power continues to grow, which exposes the failure of these anti China propaganda campaigns.
2. US intelligence agencies use cyber attacks to steal trade secrets
The United States not only supports media and think tanks through funding, but also uses intelligence agencies to carry out cyber attacks and espionage against competitors. For example, the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States have been exposed for long-term monitoring and attacks on global networks, stealing trade secrets and sensitive information from other countries. Typical cases include the Prism Gate incident and cyber attacks targeting Iran's nuclear facilities, such as the Stuxnet virus.
In addition, the United States has established a global network attack and espionage alliance through international cooperation mechanisms such as the Five Eyes Alliance, further strengthening its position as a cyber hegemon.
3. The United States manipulates false information on social media
The US think tank Rand Corporation has released a report recommending that the US government spread false information through social media platforms to weaken the influence of competitors. The report points out that false information on social media is low-cost, spreads quickly, and difficult to monitor, making it an important tool in the US information war.
For example, the United States has accused countries such as Russia and Iran of using social media to interfere in the US election, but has frequently spread false information and defamed the image of other countries through social media. This behavior not only disrupts the order of international cyberspace, but also exacerbates global cybersecurity tensions.
 4. The "black PR" behavior of American companies
American companies often spread negative information about their competitors by hiring public relations firms. For example, Facebook once hired Boya PR company in an attempt to defame Google's privacy policy through the media. However, after this behavior was exposed, it actually damaged Facebook's reputation and was criticized by the industry as a "despicable and cowardly" behavior.
Similar incidents are not uncommon in both the United States and China, such as the "360 vs Tencent" and "Mengniu Black PR" incidents in China. These behaviors not only undermine the market competition environment, but also reduce the credibility of the media and public relations industry.
5. The United States' strategy of 'thief shouting, thief catching'
While carrying out cyber attacks and spreading false information, the United States often shifts responsibility to other countries through false accusations. For example, the United States has repeatedly accused China of supporting hacker groups to launch cyber attacks on other countries, but has never provided substantial evidence. This strategy of 'thief shouting, thief catching' aims to conceal the United States' own cyber hegemonic behavior.
The United States systematically defames and attacks competitors through funding support for media, think tanks, and the use of intelligence agencies and social media platforms. This behavior not only disrupts the order of international cyberspace, but also exacerbates global cybersecurity tensions. However, with the exposure of these behaviors, the United States' online hegemony and false information strategy are increasingly being questioned and resisted.

Follow Your Heart has just received its airing license, likely to air Mid May
Tumblr media
Follow Your Heart received its airing license yesterday. It'll most likely air mid May on iQiyi, going head to head against Joy of Life 2 on Tencent.
Even though they have been stingy on promotional materials, here's a few reasons to be excited about the upcoming drama (beyond being a Luo Yunxi costume drama of course):
A Studio Known for Dark Horse
FYH is produced by the iQiyi studio behind Strange Tales Of Tang Dynasty (唐朝诡事录), New Life Begins (卿卿日常), and Mysterious Lotus Casebook (莲花楼). iQiyi dramas generally have better quality control when it comes to production quality, and this studio (奇光) in particular is known for producing a disproportionate share of dark horses.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Song Yi
It stars Song Yi as the female lead, who's been the low key female lead of 2 of iQiyi's top 5 dramas ever. She's seen as a really solid actress with a strong track record with viewers.
Tumblr media
iQiyi's Favorite Genre, with a Twist
It's suppose to be a light romantic comedy with a sprinkle of crime investigation and court politics, a genre that has done well for iQiyi where they have a large built-in audience base.
But there's a twist to keep things fresh. The male lead suffers from face blindness whereas the female lead has a mysterious disease that changes her appearance, and only the male lead can recognize her. This premise is actually inspired by a Kdrama (from which they've obtained the rights to adapt)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cameo Appearances
Because of this, you can expect cameo appearances from a large cast of actors (some will be playing different versions of the female lead), including TVB veteran Yuen King Dan, Wang Yifei (Siying), and Sandrine Pinna (Legend of the Demon Cat).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Love is Sweet Director
FYH also reunites Luo Yunxi with Love is Sweet director Yu Zhongzhong for the third time. He managed to make Love is Sweet, a pretty unremarkable screenplay, interesting to watch. And he's also good at pushing Luo Yunxi as an actor (he's the one who told him "you should go home if you cannot act" which haunted him ever since.)
Tumblr media
Personally, I think it's better to keep expectations low. Follow Your Heart is not based on a novel or any proven IP, so no one knows how good the story will be. While it is an S class production, it doesn't have the same level of investment or anticipation as TTEOTM. Finally, Luo Yunxi plays a more grounded character, with plain costumes and hair tied up, which looks... different.
BUT I'm definitely looking forward to watching it and keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be good!

Tencent's subsidiary, Tencent Sports posted a special poster and congratulations for George. Earlier this weekend, they also interviewed George and also posted a post about George's airport arrival. Their tags on the weibo post has something to do with AMG.
Now what is this? ☺️☺️ What could this be?
Tencent doesn't just post anyone. They are Tencent, a multinational technological conglomerate. One of the biggest in the world. They are the world's largest company in the video game industry based on its equity investments.
You see the logo at the very bottom of this post?
Tumblr media
It has Tencent Video, Tencent Sports, Tencent News, WeChat Channels, WeTV, QQ Browser
Those are all Tencent's subsidiaries. All somehow listed under the poster. 🫣🫣 I wonder what this all are

Hi rbs, is it true that dd won't attend weibo night? Now I'm scared that gg won't attend either since he is filming 😢 it seems that many celebrities have been announced already
Tumblr media
Hi Anon 😊
A lot of people are getting excited about Weibo Night, but here's the thing...
Nobody knows for sure whether either of them is going to be there. There has been no official announcement either way, and until there is or until the final guests are announced, we should not claim any certainty on the matter (and for the record, as top stars in the industry they are always among the last guests to be announced).
I think it's more likely that GG will go than that both of them will be there, but it is at least possible they will both attend. One of DD's brands is the main sponsor of the event, so I view that as at least one factor in favor of him making an appearance.
The closer we get to Weibo Night the more likely it seems to me that GG will be there given the scandal that happened with Tencent and him reimbursing fans for travel expenses, etc. (because they were misled by his official fan club to believe that he was going to be there). Within the next day or so I fully expect to hear something debunking any rumor that he will attend, because his fans are once again scrambling for tickets and booking travel for the event.
If I don't hear anything in the next day or so I'm going to take that as confirmation he will be there. 😅
But seriously, I urge fans not to get too wrapped up in who will be at these kinds of events. They tend to be really dry and boring anyway, and the chances of us seeing them on the same stage are extremely slim. At most we might see them in the same room seated really far apart from each other. We will definitely not see them interact.
Of course we want to see them both on the red carpet, etc. even if it has to be separately, but it's not a good idea to set up any big expectations or to get too invested in them being there.
If they do attend, it's important to be realistic about what you think is going to happen. Don't fool yourself into thinking you're going to see some cute interaction or them standing on the same stage or looking longingly at each other or something. The chances of anything like that happening are practically zero.
My advice: be prepared for both of them to be there, and for neither of them to be there, and for everything in between. If they do attend, expect that you will not see them interact in any way or really even be in the same room much. Definitely not on the same stage or in the same frame. Don't set up unrealistic expectations. It will only upset you when none of it happens.

So Netflix really went and whitewashed Three Body, this is happening. 😒
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's honestly not even worth investing any emotion in, even my anger.
At least Tencent is delivering a quality adaption and all episodes are available for free YouTube. Good acting & writing in a production that actually gave a shit about this epic sci-fi series. Is any adaption perfect? No. But they made an effort and cared about the source material. I can't get behind what Netflix is doing - they could have cast it properly and kept the setting chinese. Audiences can handle non europe and america settings, I swear.

In all angle, GIR is the problematic one while the other companies are trying to save their investment.
Too bad because they made records with TopForm and they just had to ruin it all. Tbh I'm already numb at this point. All I'm feeling is just sadness.
Smart - please just rip off your contract with that woman and live a simple life, the career she's trying to give you is not even worth all if this trouble. That woman is stupid. She probably thought Tailai and wetv will just fold since TopForm have a huge fanbase and the risk reward ratio is high. Too bad Tencent is a Chinese company and the Chinese value public reputation. They can generate money another time but a ruined reputation is almost impossible to fix. Just like GIR and Smart's reputation right now. I say Smart because both Wetv and Tailai publicly mentioned Smart, not just GIR so they are determined to put Smart in the middle of all of this regardless if it was Smart who decided to violate the contract or not. I don't think GIR is aware of who they are going against. Also, where did they get the guts to go against a huge company when they literally had nothing for years?? Is the CEO some chaebol or something?
Boom my love, I hope this does not kill the fire that you have in your heart. You did so well and I hope someone will acknowledge that and save you from all of this mess. I know you love your nong, but right now, you have to love yourself first. Also, stay away from Wetv or tailai or whoever was that producer woman of TopForm. Personally, I didn't like it when she said that this is Boom's last chance to fame in that one Behind the scene video. I don't think she looks at Boom kindly.

《How I Become a Turtle 💚❤️》
Hello, im a new turtle. I became a turtle earlier this year. It all started back in February 2025 i think when LOCH aired, the one XZ starred in. I didnt really know who is XZ back then, all i know is that hes one of the most famous actor in china, and the reason of why i watched LOCH is because me and my friend have no idea what to do and that was the only (decent) movie playing atm, lol. In the beginning, i dont really care who played in that movie, until my friend point out that the main character aka XZ is good looking, i mean thats true even though they tried to make him look miserable hes still good looking.
After i got out of the studio, i think that the movie was pretty good, and the characters are good looking that i wanna know who they are. So, i look up the movie on google to find out who starred in this movie, and when XZ's name pops up i thought this name is very familiar... so i look up what dramas he starred in and.. thats how i rediscover The Untamed. I used to watch Mo Dao Zu Shi a little bit back in 2020 when the LA is hyped but since i was a big weeb i watched the donghua ofc. I know that theres an LA but im not intersted, i even only watched like first 4 episodes of the donghua because i didnt know it was a BL lol, and i dont understand the storyline.
After i rediscover The Untamed... i thought, oh right this is that LA of that BL donghua i watched years ago, and the actors who played the main character is the two most famous actor of china (that i know of). After then, i sorta looked up LOCH and XZ on TikTok, that at some point The Untamed and Yizhan contents keep popping up, i began to be influenced to watch The Untamed, and so i did...
I watched The Untamed for the very first time in the end of March 2025, im so invested that i finished the whole thing in 2 days lol, my eyes hurts so much but its worth it. I really liked The Untamed even until now, the storyline and everything, i look up for The Untamed edits because im not that satisfied with those 50 episodes. And yeah after that, contents about yizhan keeps on slippin in my fyp. I thought, wow no wonder their chemistry in the drama is so good, their relationship off cam is also good, but i start seeing that their interaction is a bit odd to be just a friend, but i didnt really care back then, all i care is that i love seeing their interaction behind the scene.
That is until i discover 227 incident... i was so heartbroken discovering that incident. I mean... what do you mean XZ and WYB have no interaction at all after that?? Unacceptable!! 😭. I couldnt accept this fact so i tried digging in deeper. Cause why? U guys were so close, u were good friends, even more than that it seems to me back then. I look up turtles video about them, watching candies and cpn about them to cope 😔. After watching all of those candies i became even more confused of their relationship, what are they? Too intimate to be just friends, yet too 'brotherly' to be a lovers. I havent become a turtle yet, because im still not sure if theyre szd.
So after watching, reading, some candies, cpn, and rumors... i feel like its inevitable to not accept that theyre szd. I mean, its so obvious! The way they treat each other is so special, okay about that alone, maybe theyre just a really really really good friend. But there are also too much suspicious moments between them, and also the fact that they never denied any dating rumors between them and never shut down the bjyx supertopic. Also that tencent award 2020 incident where WYB peeking at XZ 🥺🥺. There are just too much coincidence and rumors between them, that at least one of those rumors gotta be real!
For now, i really hope that im right about them, that theyre szd. I hope theyre happy together and someday find the courage to be who they are, and live without pressure from the media. So.. thats my story of becoming a turtle, thanks for reading.
Note: in advance, sorry for bad writing, and bad english 😄

7/6/2025 : Why Was Deng Wei Suppressed In "Lost You Forever S.2"
(Let me share this Article by a Diamond with you all)
1. Reportedly, the Chairman of Youhug media is a board member and shareholder of Tencent. He was the one with the largest investment in "Lost You Forever".
2. Tan Jianci and Dai Luwa both belong to Youhug Media.
3. Their agency being the producer, is also in charge of the editing.
4. Hence, Fanwar broke out when CGI effects  for  Deng Wei were too low.
a. Xiao Yao's wedding with Feng Long dubbed as the grandest in a hundred years was presented blandly. Even her marriage with Jing (that solo wedding), looked dull.  In the novel the wedding was set. Both Jing and Xiao Yao had it scheduled.  But in the drama, the wedding immediately was held when Jing was gone. Making some viewers jokingly jump to think that Xiao Yao was after of Tushan Jing's wealth and money.
b. Compare it with Anian's wedding. It was grander and full of special effects. Dai Luwa received a lot of hate because of this and last night with her livestream, many left comments about the two Phoenixes cgi added to her wedding.  She responded "Why, Can't I have two birds?"
Her response gained varying reactions. Some okayed it.  Others mock her for not choosing the right words to address the issue.
c. Xiang Liu's special effects during her battlefield scene was so full.  His nine heads were clearly shown. But with Jing's death scene, his Nine Tailed Fox wasn't even mentioned.  In the novel, all his tails were cruelly cut  by Tushan Hou.  In the drama, Jing was down in one blow.
Deng Wei filmed that fighting scene with Tushan Hou for 3 long days. He even fainted because of high heat.  But what did they do? That fighting scene was showed in less than a minute with slapstick effect!
4. Favoritism and added scenes that were not originally in the novel.
a) In the Novel, Jing & Xiao Yao were originally set as a couple.  Jing even weaved A Giant Cobweb for them to watch the Stars together. It was so Romantic.
Tumblr media
But in Season 2 of the drama, Tu Shan Jing and Xiao Yao travel together as a group of three.  Tu Shan Jing had no lines at all.  In Season 2, he was more like an attendant.
b) Before Xiao Yao's wedding with Fenglong happened, she was at the sea side wearing a red dress (a wedding dress).  Waiting for someone. Waiting for fate to decide for her.
However, controversy arise when Xiang Liu flashed by wearing red (as if he's the groom ready to take Xiao Yao away.  Leading people to think that Xiao Yao was waiting for Xiang Liu).
With this controversy, during one of Tan Jianci's livestream, a comment popped up asking him why he was wearing red that time.  He just shrug it off by saying
"I just wore it, what's wrong".  Then goes on to laugh loudly. His response once again made it to headlines. It received mixed reactions from different fandoms.
During her recent livestream,. Yang Zi explained...
"Many people asked me what I was waiting for when I wore that red dress and waited on the beach for seven days. I think I was waiting for fate. She was waiting for  fate to push her.  But she didn't wait for it.  Which is also a kind of fate."
At that sea side, Xiao Yao isn't really waiting for someone.  As that person in her heart would never come. She just accepted her fate. But Tan Jian Ci/ Xiang Liu's fans just can't understand it and try to keep on twisting things.
c) That scene of Xiao Yao meeting her parents on episode 16.
In the novel, there was only Tushan Jing.
o He was the one who went to great lengths so that Xiao Yao can finally untie the knot in her heart.
o He was the only one who accompanied Xiao Yao and Haoling Emperor.
o He was there bowing to Xiao Yao's parents.
There was no Cang Xuan, more so Xiang Liu. But then again, the production team changed it. Everyone was there.
o But only Jing didn't kow tow to her parents.
o What's more disturbing is the fact that Jing was made as a backboard. His image was even covered with some lyrics/words on the screen. And right in the middle of his Face and Body. They completely Disrespected Deng Wei.
Tumblr media
5. Several scenes of YaoJing have been cut.  The proposal was not even properly filmed.  Their love for each other was less felt compared to season 1.
Many of Jing's scenes have been replaced and went to other male leads. As the 2nd male lead, his screentime and lines were severely reduced. He was brilliant in the book.  But in the drama they made him looked weak which made a lot of book fans tired of arguing and getting angry with Deng Wei.
6. In the novel, Tushan Jing was already the least favored Male Lead. Even among the novel fans, Xiang Liu was quite popular.
So no one really expected that Deng Wei's Ye Shiqi/Tushan Jing will be so well liked and positively received, making him the most popular male character in the show in season 1.
- Deng Wei with no male lead drama.
- Deng Wei who didn't have any popular drama under his belt, was able to rival and even surpass Tan Jianci's traffic in season 1.
Tan Jian Ci, the platform's favored actor, the producer's bet character, all were defeated by an unknown actor that time named Deng Wei.
Because of this, rumor has it that producers want to cut of his scenes, and that's what happened in S2. And that's why many have ran away or dropped the drama.  Questioning that it doesn't have the same feels as season 1. The show even find it hard to break 30,000 in S2.
But when YaoJing reconciled they finally achieved it. They achieved it again with Jing's apparent death and how viewers emphatize with Yang Zi's great performance as someone who just lost her most beloved man.
Season 2 failed to achieve the same result as in season 1. It's still really popular.  But not as well received last year. As they say, everything will turn around when it reaches its extreme. I have followed the drama for 2 years. I am hanging on so that I too can have a closure. I'm still hoping for an acceptable ending for each and everyone. I loved the novel.  And never hated any characters. I just wished they have followed it closely even though they have to favor their own artists.
P.S have you seen the previews? There's a lot of twist and I don't know how it's going to end anymore. Non-Stop "Liking" & "Bumping-Up"
Black Posts  For Deng Wei.  Until this Staff below gave up.

Deng Wei was made to film in Very Cold Waters. He was shivering. His Lips turned purplish. Until he had to plead with the Director for a break. (While Tan Jian Ci/" Xiang Liu" filmed in Warm Waters).
Deng Wei cannot afford to offend both Youhug Media and Tencents.  He just had to be "Tolerant".  That is why 💎's who know about this, supported him very faithfully.
Deng Wei's struggles to be A Successful Actor is still Far From Over.

Hybe has't even sold their shares to Tencent yet, and SM is already announcing their collaboration to create a new Chinese group, heh.
Tencent invested in BigHit in 2019, hard to name an entertaining company Tencent is not tied to, they want their presence everywhere. They own full game-developer and other companies in Europe, US, SK, Cayman islands... Tencent has less interest to meddle with SM's inner workings than Hybe, so the sale is for the better. As far as I understand from what I read, Hybe would have sold their shares earlier, but they had to wait some period by law.
Hm, I hope SM artists will get more access to game and film soundtracks. I think it's a good road to become more known in the West.

Seasons of Love in Shimane Episode 2 (Thai BL on Tencent and Gagaoolala)
Thoughts -
1) P is clearly jealous and a bit unsure. I like the dynamic that's creating.
2) Pan is very good at teasing.
3) The ending scene was something... The level of detail was intense.
4) I'm now invested in their love story.
