Hi, hello! I'd like to ask, do you have any predictions for future LMK episodes that didn't come true, or were off course?
Actually yes!
I'm still fond of this idea even if it turned out to be wrong—but before the s4 special aired I was pretty confident that while MK went into the scroll to find Monkey King (and I totally called Macaque going in there with him), he would see something related to his creation/past and that was gonna be the thing to shake his relationship with Wukong.
But honestly, it makes more sense that a SWK and MK conflict would be saved for s5. I think I had just assumed that they were going to answer the question of "what is MK?" in the s4 special, when they definitely didn't do that at all lol.
So now I think we might just get this sort of thing later! The special made it clear that SWK V Macaque ("What happened between you two, for realizies?"), along with MK's identity are gonna be some of the plot points looming over MK's arc next season.

things learned in episode 1 of king-ohger
*spoilers under cut*
this world seems to have a lot of bug robotics for an array of purposes, including lighting and package delivery
the world is earth that was split into 5 kingdoms established by the king-ohgers that defeated bugnarak 2000 years ago
2000 years ago a prophecy foretold that bugnarak would rise once more in 2000 years- source of prophecy is unknown
all the kings are looked up to by civilians (from what’s been seen so far)
himeno seems to value her looks and likes being catered to, but is also a warrior that wants to keep people safe- helps kogane when she’s injured- is for the alliance with shugoddam
rita seems to value her role and strongly believes that no matter what they all must stand their ground- is for the alliance with shugoddam
kaguragi values the power of omens and believes in good fortune- seems to have a positive outlook on life- civilians of his kingdom say he’s the reason their harvest has gone well and why their rice is so good- is for the alliance with sugoddam
yanma values the history of his kingdom and his kingdom's technology- believes that king racules is trying to rule over all their kingdoms as opposed to uniting the kingdoms when he takes control over king-ohger- is against the alliance with sugoddam- makes it so king-ohger cannot be revived with the power of the 5 kings-is accused by racules of lusting after power himself
yanma is also very hot-headed, as noted by his servant, shiokara- shiokara says he has to go with yanma to the meeting of the kings as he knows that yanma will start trouble if he goes alone
king racules- king of shugoddam- says he should rule king-ohger as his kingdom was the first- says he wants peace to the kings- refuses to fight bugnarak
gira is a civilian that seems to be in a unit (family?) of lower class, as they seem to be having trouble with finances- child notes that they used to be able to get seconds of their meals, and a tax collector comes by that demands that they pay more taxes- they say they have already paid, indicating that the king seems to be pressing to collect more money from civilians
gira is very family-oriented and takes care/plays with the younger children, often acting as a villain while the children pretend to be the king-ohgers- gira gets really into his role when he's playing out his villain role, including laughing like a villain
the ohgercalibur is a weapon that indicates a true king and was created by yanma- is used to transform into the king-ohgers- can only be used by true kings
yanma made it so kuwagata's energy could be converted to electric power and used by the shugoddam kingdom, after kuwagata didn't move for 2000 years
gira is the one to awaken the god kuwagata sugod- the god kuwagata is the most important shugod bc it is the main body of the ohsama gattai king-ohger, which is needed to defeat the larger enemies in bugnarak- also the first shugod- every other king has their shugod active and yanma cannot activate kuwagata on his own, although he claimed that he could early-on (this is somewhat speculation on my part)
gira confronts racules about not protecting his people, and racules says that it is all in the name of making peace via "uniting" the kingdoms- racules says that he is the kingdom and he will take control over the world- is using the bugnarak attacking as an excuse to wage war with n’kosopa (yanma’s kingdom)- presumably by using yanma’s refusal to join the alliance and awaken kuwagata as to why shugoddam was so badly affected when the bugnarak returned
gira takes the ohgercalibur and points it at racules- this is considered to be treasonous and evil- gira says that he will become the evil king of the world- kuwagata awakens upon this declaration
gira’s not actually “evil”- based on the context, gira is considered evil in the eyes of racules bc he won’t submit to him and will not turn a blind eye to the civilians being affected by the bugnarak’s revival- recules' definition of justice includes letting civilians die and gira rejects this justice- gira in turn takes the label of being evil with grace, as he knows it’s about him believing in true justice (speculation on my part)
racules orders that gira be caught and executed

i got such a bad migraine someone pls remind me to come back to this when i can form a good thought™ and word it properly but. dc officials have to have SOME level of awareness of the constent mistreatment of talia's character to reduce her to a punchline or antagonist again and again... like, we see it in worlds finest, gotham knights, whatever recent that features her — you cant tell me that it isnt just intentionally decided again and again to continue writing her like this despite being aware of the problematic qualities of it. they have enough awareness in the fandom to bring up uwu batfam moments and make little gags and schticks in multiple pieces of media but they just coincidentally dont see people being rightfully upset at how dc continues to portray her?? bullshit. its as if theyre constantly trying to pretend she wasnt disgustingly retconned and she was just always like this because then they dont have to admit their own continue history of racism and misogyny.
theres still so many batfam focused ppl that will willingly choose again and again to either ignore or excuse their raciam and misogyny. they know they can get away with it and avoid accountability so they continue to do so. theres no reason she had to be brought up and mentioned for a shitty joke — the only reason it was *talia* was because they HAVE to be aware of the reputation they gave her and it was the essiest, most laziest writing chance they had to make a joke thatll just end up posted on twitter without context. theyre aware of the backlash and outcry but all press is good press and they know theres enough people in the comic fandom to defend them so they can avoid actually acknowledging why shes written this shittily in the first place (again, its from raciam and misogyny. literally thats it.)
in fact!!!! they didnt have to have a joke point blank. let the fucking moment sit or better yet — write an actual decent story that does anything. isnt that the point of creating something? to actually say and mean something instead of just filling the comic with shit thatll age badly in a month, much less be iconic for years to come.
they think theyre making a jokey comic that's a fun adventure but instead all they continue to do is make a joke of once beloved characters and reduce them as two dimensional flat mockeries of themselves. its to the point where the only things that are still so iconic about them is their own fucking names — which even that is dwindling rapidly due to their inability to write sincerity or anything meaningful. everything has to constantly end on a punchline or joke so it can be dismissed easier instead of having to take credibility for their shallow, halfassed characterization thats used to cater to their flat writing — which just gets ignored anyways in the favour of pretty art
