lord, i pray to thee today asking that SEGA does not water down black doom's potential to be absolutely disgusting and manipulative and evil, especially to shadow who has dared to wrong him.

i ask that dooms power-hungry, obsessive nature is not toned down for a modern, younger audience. do not let newer players be fooled that he's a shallow villain on the level of the Zeti.

do not ignore that he asks shadow to kill other black arms to meet his goals, and then criticizes humanity for "killing their own".

do not ignore that he completely disregards shadows autonomy and identity as a person, seeing him only as a tool.

do NOT IGNORE that he has the gall to show shadow his own memories, leaving parts out that wont serve his goals, just to manipulate shadow.

DONT. IGNORE. how he spends the entire game manipulating and gaslighting shadow, both through words and supernatural means.

don't ignore the message of the bravery it takes to deny your family their image of you.

please don't water down black doom. this game and this audience deserves to see how truly vile he is. in order to see how deeply good shadow is.
