after the second war percy thalia and nico became closer (and got over their problems ofc) and actually friends, and shortly after they realized they all liked to shit talk people. especially the gods.

but the gods would never allow that, and the only god any of them could think of that would let them get away with that was poseidon. so they had their weekly shit-talk session in the poseidon cabin.

until one day, when thalia was shit talking apollo about what he did to/with the hunt that particular day, poseidon decided to join in. he had nothing better to do so why not

thalia barely even blinked and started from the beginning while percy and nico fell off the couch.

percy already shit talked other gods with his dad during the summer/winter solstice since neither of them wanted to be there, so he adjusted to the new member fairly quickly

and from that day on poseidon officially became part of the shit-talking group, he always brought a lot of snacks and drama from olympus (and often atlantis) and soemtimes would bring amphritrite too

after a few weeks, after their shit talk sesh, poseidon would bring the little three out to wherever they wanted to go to just chill and vibe (it was thalias idea)

Anyway, more reasons why Thalia Grace should (not) be adopted by Poseidon

She’d get the audacity.

Like, Zeus’s children and he himself have audacity, but not Audacity, right? Like, Percy and Poseidon’s Audacity’s are on a whole other level of pissing off people higher than them and now Thalia has both that and the power to do it (aka the affections from the monster of the deep)

So yeah, Thalia should totally (not) be adopted for that exact reason. Definitely should not /s

that scene in tlo where thalia tells percy he can't start feeling sorry for luke bc luke made his choices. and thalia reveals that the reason they couldn't make it to camp in time for all of them to make it to camp was bc luke kept picking fights. and annabeth never saw this as wrong bc luke was her hero. so thalia had to pick up the pieces. and percy thinking both that luke was put in a cruel position and that luke was putting others in a cruel position. and percy is the only character who understood both sides of luke bc annabeth sees only the best of him and thalia sees only the worst. and that's why percy is the prophecy kid and the one who gives luke the knife. bc annabeth had spent the entire series essentially giving luke the knife when he didn't deserve it. and thalia was never going to give luke the knife. but percy is the only one who can see exactly when luke deserves the knife.

after hoo, all seven demigods, along with reyna nico and thalia, go up to olympus

and the gods talk about the war and demigods.

and everything is normal until they get to percy. and they start repeating the same thing as years before. 'should he live or not'

percy stands quietly with annabeth and nico as the rest look in horror. percy helped save them. why are they debating his death?

until thalia speaks up. shes the daughter of justice. and if her brother friends life is being debated because hes 'too powerful' and 'not supposed to exist', then why is her life not being debated?

she yells and screams at her father saying percy has done too much for the gods for them to still want him dead.

percy is done fighting for himself. he hasnt fought for himself his entire life. but his sister friend will wage war for him.

she has seen herself how much percy has done for the gods, for camp, for everyone, and if the gods want him dead they will have to kill thalia first, because percy will not fight for himself, but she will.

In the same vibe as Percy choking Akhlys, may I suggest :

Nico causing wounds to necrotize. Even from a small scratch on your finger, it spreads so fast your only hope is an amputation asap.

Jason holding the air still in your lungs. You're not dying because you don't have air, but because you can't get it out and are literally choking.

Hazel controlling stones in jewelries. Imagine getting chocked by your necklace, your finger being sectioned by your ring, being handcuffed by your bracelets, your head being crushed between your earrings...

Thalia manipulating the electricity in your body. Causing your nervous system to move in certain ways, or just shutting down your brain activity.

The big 3 are terrifying, and I wish we would've seen them (others than Percy) being more op. Cmon Rick, show us reasons the gods are afraid of them !

Thalia, after being adopted by Poseidon, finally realizing the true power of the storm. She could do lightning as a child of Zeus and stuff but Poseidon holds the title of the storm-bringer.

(She uses this power for slight evil of course, such as kicking Percy’s ass and bothering [flirting with] Reyna in New Rome)

zeus is just like ‘hey what the fuck kid’ and poseidon loves his overpowered as fuck demon children

she’s also happy that her and percy are more on even terms with their powers now

and reyna likes to pretend that she doesn’t notice thalia flirting so she’ll keep doing it

Knowing that Annabeth canonically had a crush on Percy since she was twelve was insane to me at first, but now, seeing the show, she probably loved him almost immediately. This dorky kid that chose her for a quest just because he knew she wanted to go.

I know a lot of people picture Thalia Grace as tall because she’s the daughter of Zeus, but her being short is far too much funnier to me.

Give me Thalia being a tiny, electric ball of rage.

Give me Thalia wearing 4 inch platform boots… just to be 5’5.

Give me Thalia doing a quadruple take at how big Annabeth had gotten after she came out of the tree.

Give me Percy using her head as an armrest one day, and getting zapped all the way across camp.

Give me Thalia being a whole foot shorter than her little brother Jason. (He wouldn’t say anything about it, he’s a sweetheart)

It’s in my head now, and I’m spreading it as much as I can.
