#THEY FASCINATE ME #Stampede has a lot more “invisible” scars than Trimax's and I personally think that he may get MORE scars by the end of Stampede #I think its also safe to assume that Vash wasn't just patched up by doctors on the planet I think this is Luida and Brad judging by the tec #also I love going through each and trying to figure out what injury each was #like Trimax vash has been cut a lot but that large one on his torso was probably an explosion #Stampede i think his large scars are explosion related as well #and then the screws on Trimax and those little bits of metal on Stampede are connected to internal stuff #like my dad has screws in his shoulder (you cant see them externally) that hold his tendon there since it tore #so I think those are related to stuff like that #especially the ones on Vash's spine #i should've just typed this in the post huh #trigun #trigun stampede #tristamp #trigun maximum #trimax #trigun anime #trigun manga #trigun vash #tristamp vash #trimax vash #vash #vash the stampede #vash the humanoid typhoon

#my desserts #okay the hot dog and hamburgers aren't my design they're one of the standard designs we're supposed to make #and about a week ago we were having a store tour #which is essentially when a bunch of rich people from higher up in the company come walk around the store #so everyone has to work way harder to make everything perfect and jam pack the shelves with food #so that they can look at it #and they send in people who's job it is to micro manage everything in the lead up to them coming #and they always insist on coming on like a monday or tuesday so most of that stuff expires and goes in the garbage #like if they at least came on like a thursday we could be prepped for the weekend rush #it costs a lot of money too like my manager owns the store and he personally has to pay for like #getting everything professionally cleaned and the extra hours and the extra product #and this was like the 6th visit in the past year! usually you get 1 or 0 visits in a year! why do they keep coming back!!!!#and this visit they were adamant about having those hot dog and hamburger cupcakes out as 6 packs #and if you're going to do 6 packs anything less than 24 packs looks pathetic #those of you who can do multiplication know that that is 144 cupcakes #and those of you with keen eyes can see that the bun is made by cutting off the top of the cupcake. which is very tedious #those cupcakes took me THREE HOURS to do #then as soon as they went out on the floor someone placed an order for 24 6 packs this coming weekend so that took me three more hours 😑#anyway after all that the higher ups didn't even come. they had 'dinner reservations'#but yeah making 16 to sell individually isn't so bad

#if I speak…#one of the girls walked out yesterday #the best worker we have is on the verge of blowing up on this bitch’s leaders bc since he can do everything quick and efficiently already #they’re putting 3 to 4 ppl’s workloads on him to see how far they can extend his worth and then they’re over his shoulder the whole time #micromanaging him so today he almost lost it and was literally walking around mumbling about his disrespectful they all are (facts)#and how if they don’t think he’s doing it right then they can do it and I know for a fact one of the ladies heard him #bc he wasn’t even trying to hide it at this point and like this dude is cool he has a lot of patience and helps out any way he can #so if HE’S on the brink of snapping then the rest of us don’t stand a chance LMFAO #anyways today was a fucking mess those leaders know nothing about our store yet so they have us making less than what we need until we need #it so we get behind constantly and they made prep a disaster bc again they think they can just prep a bunch of stuff in the morning #and it’ll last the whole day and yes that works in theory but the reality of the situation is every day is different and today #we sold double what we did yesterday so they had to move me to prep to fix their mistakes bc we were running out of stuff 4 hours in lmfao #and I’m the only one left who knows how to do everything on prep bc the other girls had never done it before #we’re supposed to prep 20 mac n cheese trays in the morning for the whole day #we open lunch at 10:30 tell me why I go into the cooler at 12 put more in the oven and there’s only 5 left #it’s been less than 2 HOURS and you’re already running out of macs which means those idiots prepped barely anything just to try and save mo #*money to cut down waste but that gag if you’re losing money bc now you’re short on everything and customers are leaving bc they’re having #to wait a long time for their food #and macs take 40 minutes to cool LMFAO #I get over there they’re out of parfaits they’re out of fruit cups they’re out of kale salads the front is coming in and having to take #stuff as I make it bc they keep getting orders and it’s all just a fucking mess #I have to make a custom wrap and what happens?? those morons didn’t pull the flatbreads out of the freezer like they’re supposed to every #night so now we have no flatbread and I had to run back there and put them in the warming drawer to defrost and we lost an order bc I had #nothing to make the wraps with <3 #I go back there to get more cold chicken SPOILER ALERT they didn’t have anyone make any this morning so now there’s no chicken for the wrap #and salad and it has to be grilled and then chilled for 2 FUCKING HOURS before it can be used #they’re a fucking disaster like 😭#was the store perfect before?? ofc not but it ran quickly and efficiently as it should and now it’s literally just a mess #this bitch hasn’t even owned it for a full week yet and has already fucked it all up #womp womp!!!!!!

Hrmm... Revising my game and I feel like there's still sooo much writing left to do, for something that probably won't even amount to much, so.. I do want to narrow my focus more (especially given my health problems seeming to get worse/less energy the past few years), but I'm not sure how would be best to...

I currently have 5 characters as the Main ones with full planned questlines and such, with each character having 6 quests you can do for them. But I haven't really started the writing for the 5th main character. So then I was thinking, if I were going to write 6 full quests worth of content anyway... is it better to allocate that time on just doing a Complete 6 Quests for ONE single character, OR would it be better to do something like.. choose THREE side characters and do 2 quests for each of them? So that people have a wider variety to interact with and sort of sample around (of course with the idea that, once the first version of the game is released, IF people actually care about it enough to make it worth the effort, I would then add additional content to complete those 3 characters stories as well)

SO... If you were playing an interactive fiction sort of game centered around talking to & doing quests for a cast of characters (like there's no larger plot, more it's just about interacting with people, every character kind of has a self contained story, the focus is just learning about them and the world and exploring the area) --- Which would you rather have?

(and of course it would be stated up front which characters have only partial questlines, so people don't expect them to have full quests like the others and then get disappointed, or etc. etc.)

Basically, is it better to just focus in specifically on having one fully complete questline? Or for there to be a few stories that are not complete yet, but have more initial options available?

#I guess I just feel weird about investing too much into characters if possibly nobody will like them. so the idea of being able to sample #around a wider variety opens up the option of like 'hey even if neither of these 4 are your favorite - you have 3 other options soon too!'#or whatever. BUT I also am very anti-the trend of releasing half finished games or shit like that where people preorder and then #the game sucks on actual release and isn't fully playable or good until 5 updates later #HOWEVER.. those are giant companies with hundreds of employees and millions in funding. I feel like it's different for someone #if they're just like ''hey I am getting zero money for this and doing it entirely on my own in my free time and before I do like 50+ hours #of work on top of the 100+ hours of work that I already did - I would like maybe to at least see some proof #people are interested in this - so I'm releasing the game with like a small amount of the originally intended content removed #that I still have planned out and hope to add later and the game is still entirely done and completely functional #except for just a few quests I might add later.. sorry'' etc. etc. ??? like I think that's different. but maybe some people dont see #it that way and would still be like 'grrr.. how dare there be unfinished options..>:V" idk #And the nature of the quests is such that it's not weird to have it be partial like.. again.there's no major plot. it's not like the quests #are leading up to some dramatic thing and having them half done would make it feel like a cliffhanger. It's meant to be very casual just #chilling and doing little tasks and such. And last thing to clarify I guess - by 'side character' I don't mean taking some unimportant bac #ground character and forcing them to have quests. I mean like.. originally the game had 8 full characters and I thought that was #too much so I cut it down to 5. So I still had everything planned for all the side characters too. Id' just be like.. re-giving them #quests and focuses that were already planned from the beginning but that I got rid of.. former main characters banished to the side lol..#ANYWAY... hrmm... hard to decide... It's just so niche I think. I feel more and more like I should just get it to a 'proof #of concept' state and get it out there to interest check rather than invest in it soooo much for nothing. Because I really do not have the #tastes other people do or interact with games or have interest in things in the same way. A lot of the stuff that I love (slow. character #focused things with basicaly no action or plot where its' just about getting to explore a world and learn about #people in a casual low stakes setting but ALSO not romance) I think people find very boring so... lol...#This year as I try to pick the project back up again after abandoning it for like 3 years I keep looking at stuff and going.. ough...#yeah... cut this maybe.. I should cut that too.. I should make them a side character.. remove this.. blah blah..#Though I did ADD a journal and inventory system and other things that like People Expect Games To Have so.. maybe #that will count for something.. hey..you can collect items.. it's not just 'talking to elves for 600 hours simulator'.. are you #entertained yet? lol.... When I was making my other tiny game for that pet website and I gave it to the play testers and someone was like #''it should have achievements so I feel I'm working towards something concrete'' I was literally so blindsided like..??... people WANT that #in games..? is the goal not simply to wander aimlessly &fixate on world/character lore& make your own silly pointless personal goals? I did #do them though because it IS fun to make up little achievement names and such but.. i fear i am out of touch so bad lol..

hey guys so if the art starts to slow down or just looks worse my drawing tablet / drawing tablet pen has decided to break so. uh. bear with me while i get used to it or fix it or something else

edit: pen issue is only getting worse so i just decided to just get a new tablet entirely bc the black friday sales look good and this one had already lasted me a good few years 👍 crisis averted but no digital art for a few days!!

going back to a smaller wacom which is exciting because the first drawing tablet i got when i was like 8 was this little wacom and honestly it still has my heart [it lasted for like 6 years even though it was missing like half its panels and the wires looked like it had been chewed on by a rat]

#if anyone knows stuff about this it's a huion #and the issue is it seems to bug out at a specific pressure around the 100% so when i press too hard it just. cuts out #and sometimes it'll randomly jump to the top of my screen and back down #anddd it's more wiggly than it should be at high pressures #i've already changed the nib i'll see what i can do about drivers when i get home later today #at least it seems like a pen issue and i can replace that if it comes to it #me chat.

the first thing you have to understand before you start crossstitching is that you Do Not know how to count and you Will fuck up the pattern. the second thing you have to understand is that this is fine, basically.

#N posts stuff #it's easy to get distressed about it bc the nature of crossstitching is that if you misplace one stitch then you've fundamentally #lost the waypoint on putting a bunch of other stitches down. one misplaced stitch = hundreds of misplaced stitches #this is still fine basically you just have to get creative in replacing and filling in stitches around the fucked up ones #it's excessively annoying in practice it's SO frustrating but then when you finish the hoop it's like 'oh its unnoticeable.' and it is #you know it was there bc it was an excrutiating effort to mitigate but it's fine.#the frustration in making up what to do with stitches is still exponentially less than the frustration of trying to like #dethread and cut out stitches in an effort to correctly place the one missed one (and all the others that also got misplaced)#just go with it. just see what happens. lol

#snap chats #ew i just remembered i have my spanish exam tomorrow im going to throw up #anyway i thought i'd stream today but the more i thought of it the more i wanted to throw up #im already really drowsy and plus i dont want to be stressed under the time crunch in-between class #plus assembling and disassembling The Tower is nerve racking i dont need something breaking while i rush to class LOL #thursday'll be chill since i only have my morning class then and friday i only have The One class. and its friday.#i'm putting a strict time limit on gameplay days since i want to try to record these and i think four hours is just enough time #firstly to watch but also i think it's small enough to be able to be saved onto my computer #idk we'll see how it plays out. i think the usb could only record about two hours before it ran out of space #and my computer's space As Of Now is about twice the size of that usb #i'm gonna try to clear up more space but yeah thats the deal for right now #four hours is by no means a lot of gameplay time- much less than id like LMAO but we do what we gotta #maybe i'll do a similar schedule for IW except instead of thurs being a game day i'll make it sunday #i have a night class thursday next semester unless i edit my schedule at some point #honestly i might cut out art streams during IW... lemme speed through the shit so i can draw stuff for it LOL #but we'll get there when we get there

i think my tolerance for moe (ie the anime stuff) is in freefall rn

#(very long tags just a warning)#once you start realising how ingrained the idea is of youth as the ultimate ideal is you see it everywhere and it gets annoying #the way most popular media is about teenagers doing stuff. the way all the popular art is conventionally attractive people #people calling porcelain doll-faced anime girls in gachas ''milfs'' and ''grandmas''#and in the same way the moe ideal is of youthful characters you can find ''cute'' or you're meant to feel you want to protect #something that's more about what they make you feel rather than anything seen as an actual person #and ''moe voice'' anime girl samples/vocals are everywhere in some the genres of music i listen to #so of course this shit is everywhere online. you go to discuss a certain game and nobody gives a fuck about the female mc as a person #they just want to share sanitised art where she's cute or in a maid outfit or whatever #they never have to think about the female characters in a story when they can just call her cute and share said art #they don't want a person they want something cute #age lines and anger and low periods and certain body types and other facts of life considered ''undesirable'' have no place in moe #people don't want that stuff. and that's what gets me. it's internalised and ingrained EVERYWHERE #and that's transformed into something very ugly in that it's being taken as an ideal rather than a character type #and it means a lot of the things i think are part of the experience of living are cut out and ignored and treated as unwanted #as well as manifesting as ageism and racism and xenophobia at worst when taken as an actual ideal #why do you think there are so many far right wingers who love all that moe stuff and have anime pfps?#anyway back to my main point of irritation with youth as an ideal: that's just an extreme case #i consider moe a form of crystallisation of youth as an ideal as well as what Certain People want from women #and that's why i find myself. tolerating it less.#i don't want a small anime girl to find cute and ''protect'' and otherwise not think about i want a PERSON #anyway ik nobody's gonna read this i just. i tried to listen to a mashup album from 2011 today #i got annoyed with the constant high pitched moe voice samples and had to turn it off bc i was thinking about all of this #i've never really gotten annoyed w it like this til now tbh
