A good friend of mine's family is dealing with a hard time right now and needs some support. Their youngest is living with CRPS - Complex Regional Pain Syndrome - it's a painful and relentless condition and she's been facing it for seven years.

6 ⧽. if you were to write a part two/sequel to a fic, what fic would you want to write it for?

I would absolutely love to write a sequel to olwguh! It was my first Tarlos fic and it's still so special to me, but I feel like I also left it in a place that could very easily be picked back up on. The period of time after Push is something I haven't had a chance to explore so I think that could be really interesting!

13 ⧽. do you have any writing projects/goals/plans you're working on/want to work on?

Okay, so here's my tentative plans for this year so far:

Sports fic has been pushed back to the end of the year, because I signed it up for the @wipbigbang event! I think it'll be good to have that be a more long-term project since I'm anticipating it will be similar in length to our love will guide us home and until the end of time.

Spicy fic is now my main focus in the meantime! Or, it will be my main focus as soon as I finish my last assignment for this semester on Tuesday. I'm hoping to have this one done soon so that I can focus on another spicy fic, a wip that is yet to be determined.

As previously stated, I am currently brainstorming ideas for a spicy fic 2.0. This one will be for the purposes of @tarlos-smut-week which I am very excited for!

I will still be working on my therapy fic and s1 fic as well, but I don't have any specific timeline for when they might be done.

Finally, the detective au is still in play. I'm sorry that I still don't have much of a timeline on this yet, but I'm just not in a place right now where I've been able to work on this, or on anything else. I'm hoping that I can maaaaybe start posting it later this year? I don't want to jinx myself, but I'm still very passionate about this fic so I'm hopeful!

49, 51 and 60 for Barrisco, please please please?

49.) Does either of them have a hard time being away from the other?

It definitely depends on the circumstances. They both get a little antsy when the other is away for too long, but it never verges into separation anxiety territory... unless one of them is off hero-ing without the other.

Cisco likes being the voice in Barry's ear, the person Barry can depend on to give good advice and direct him from a big picture vantage point. And who can breach to Barry in a second if things go wrong. So when Barry goes to team up with Team Arrow or the Superfriends and Cisco is not the voice in his ear, it makes him super nervous and fretful because what if Barry needs him?

Caitlin and Iris (and eventually Frost) get pretty good at distracting an anxious Cisco.

Cisco is less likely to leave Central City for team ups without Barry going with him, though. He is more likely to be heroing without Barry when Barry's access to his powers is blocked or Barry's out of town, however, and it does make Barry anxious for Cisco in those circumstances. Especially when Wally leaves. If something goes wrong, will Frost or Ralph be able to get to Cisco in time? It's at it's worst when Barry is cut off from the speed force because he feels so slow and helpless when Cisco is in trouble. He's not really, because Barry can absolutely pick up a gun and go be badass still, but a lot of Barry's self confidence only really built up after he got his powers, so losing his powers can trigger those feelings of self doubt very easily.

51.) What’s a non verbal way they say I love you?

They're very touchy-feely with each other, so they definitely have a whole range of non verbal communication going on.

When Barry inspires Cisco for something tech related - especially if it's the answer to their latest villain problem - Cisco will kiss Barry on the mouth before running off to implement whatever brilliant idea he's had. Leaves Barry standing their grinning because he likes being Cisco's muse, especially when he gets kissed like that. Of course sometimes Cisco gives Barry the insight he needs for a breakthrough in a case for work or something they've been struggling to understand about a meta's motivations for causing trouble and he'll do very much the same. Cisco likes the warmth Barry leaves lingering on his arms when they kiss like that.

If something dangerous is going on and they're having to split up to deal with it - whether it's one of them staying behind to run comms or them both running into danger in different places - one of them will put a hand on the other's shoulder or run their hand gently along the back of the other's neck. And they just look at each other and they know.

60.) Who pulls the other closer when they’re sleeping?

Barry's an octopus when he sleeps and he latches onto Cisco if they don't go to sleep tucked together already. If Barry's asleep and Cisco gets into bed afterwards? Barry immediately gravitates to him and snuggles up super close. Which can be just a little bit annoying if Cisco is still too close to the edge of the bed.

If Cisco's asleep first and Barry joins the bed later than Barry will snuggle right up as he gets comfy. At first he was probably a bit wary about waking Cisco up, but as they got more comfortable in their relationship Barry stopped worrying so much.

That said, Cisco is quite the snuggler too and when he's holding Barry at night he will absolutely pull Barry closer if at all possible and if Barry stays up reading for a bit while Cisco falls asleep, Barry may find a Cisco snuffling against his side before he's ready to call it a night.

🩹 ADHESIVE BANDAGE — does your oc have any physical and/or mental disabilities?

ravi has autism! never officially diagnosed but there's enough signs pointing at it for those close to him to know what's going on. he's easily overstimulated and doesn't speak a lot at all, he's most comfortable doing his own thing because he knows he will do it well, he needs very clear explanations why he can or cannot do certain things or it won't click in his brain, he has a meltdown the second he feels like he failed a specific task that he REALLY wanted to get done that day, etc etc and so on. the last one is often also connected to his executive dysfunction; if he finally goes to do something he's not been able to do for a while and then something goes wrong during it (either the task itself or someone asks him to do the thing while he's already doing it), he will explode and fume about it for the next 24 hours in complete silence

he's also hard of hearing, in both ears! it's caused by explosions sometime around the fall of portland's protection zone, they did irreparable damage to his hearing so he's been needing hearing aids ever since

🚫 PROHIBITED — does your oc drink/smoke? do they do it regularly, or is it more on occasion or for special events?

ravi drinks and smokes, but only very rarely and generally in a social context :] he generally just sticks to a beer or two or three, or maybe a cocktail, very very rarely something stronger and that's generally only when he's hanging out with saul. he smokes weed whenever he's in town, usually with emerick and angel, and later also with @mojaves' benny, ramona, and richie; he used to smoke regular cigarettes but stopped with that a couple years back because it would become a really bad habit whenever he'd be out in the wasteland

💔 BROKEN HEART — what are three of your oc's negative traits?

ravi is incredibly oblivious to the point it can be frustrating to everyone around him. he's not doing it on purpose and generally when he's made aware of a thing he picks up on it very quickly, but you HAVE to tell him about something because he will not ever pick up on it himself

he can also be incredibly stubborn, especially when convinced of his own right and without fully understanding other perspectives. that ties in neatly with what i said above; you HAVE to talk him through things in detail for him to have things click in his brain, which in the heat of the moment can require entirely too much patience from people around him which they often don't have, understandably so

lastly, he's very self destructive. this is another thing he doesn't actively realize and he needs talking to in order to even start seeing the signs, but he pushes himself to his limits all of the time, which weighs down on himself as well as those around him since they have to go weeks or months without seeing him and they constantly have to worry about what his reckless ass is getting himself into this time

🖤 BLACK HEART — has your oc killed or seriously wounded anyone before? have they broken someone's heart and/or broken someone's trust?

ravi has never killed someone, but he has seriously injured @mojaves' ethan twice now. once in the winter storyline, where he broke ethan's arm after the latter showed zero sympathy for benny's chronic pain; and the second time happens later on in the portland storyline, when ravi learns ethan tossed out benny's antibiotics, which put the whole mission on a tight deadline and caused immense amounts of stress for everyone involved. ravi has never hurt anyone in such ways before, meaning ethan really brings out a side of him other people would've never experienced before

he has definitely broken hearts before as well, especially emerick's. the two used to be together and while ravi kept saying that he would change his ways to be able to be there for emerick in the way that she needed him, he never really kept his word and (though emerick themself was also partially responsible for this) it put a lot of extra strain on their relationship which eventually led to the two of them breaking up. all is well between them now, but there's still a lingering tension, one that definitely flares up badly for emerick when she learns that ravi and benny are together and ravi is actually making an effort to be there for benny more

definitely role. before i derived everything else in my project from the zelda au, i had the (verry basic) story roles

7- What is an aspect of their appearance that you like the most?

i looove drawing her face shes so cutesies to me

17- Are there any motifs or symbols associated with the character? How are they represented, in their design, personality or in some other way?

when i was designing her i wanted her and voh to look like mirrors of eachother to show that theyre twins. their duality is a key part of their characters
