I’m thankful for RED TV because I’m actually writing my thesis on the ATW Short Film. The whole reason why the short film came to be in the first place is because a) fans pleaded for the ten minute version of the song for 10 years, b) the rerecordings project allows Taylor to go back and change things, and c) Taylor can do anything ever and it will be amazing (except for Cats, sorry). That’s why I also have no doubt her directorial debut in feature film will be a success.

this year has been sooooo long omg, it genuinely feels like an extension of 2020, but i will say, i'm not the same person i was all those months ago. i'm really grateful for the swiftie community here on tumblr, it really feels like home everytime i open this app!!! i'm also really grateful for the fact that i passed my driving test on the first try!! nothing really big has happened to me this year, but i'm grateful for all the little achievements i've had this year; graduating secondary school, getting into uni, stuff like that.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! i legit cannot imagine putting in the time and hard work to do something as amazing as pass the bar! i'm so happy for you! let's see..... this year, i'm thankful for my fur baby. she's getting older, but i will forever be grateful and thankful for her. i'm also thankful for my momma, who is forever my rock and is amazing. and my two closest friends, i'm thankful for learning many new things on my ever-lasting health journey, and i'm excited to try implementing these changes and see how it all works out. i'm super super massively thankful for nikki reed, and the free photography print she sent to me with a sweet little thank you note on the back for supporting sustainable art, and for all of the times i've interacted with her this year (and always). i'm also very thankful to adriano filmer on youtube/insta for sharing some selena concerts he personally recorded back when she was alive! i'm thankful to my aunt for her graciously asking me and giving me the change to take photos of her wedding. i'm thankful that i learned how to make candles this year, because that is so meditative. and speaking of meditation, i'm thankful i learned a dual stress / vagus nerve stimulation breathing technique this year, it has made a very big difference in my life.

athena: what are your favourite classic novels? so far my favs are:

1984 by George Orwell- dystopian novels are a big shout, one of my favourite genres. I highly recommend. might take a while to get into the plot but takes a really interesting view on society without freedom of speech.

brave new world by Aldous Huxley- another dystopian novel, huxley’s writing style is really cool, a social hierarchy based on intelligence: mindblowing. 

the phantom by Susan Kay- not sure if this classifies as a classic but this book is so good and so creative. Phantom of the Opera is one of my favourite musicals and I love love love the way Kay writes Erik’s backstory. cried a lot though…

pride and prejudice by Jane Austen- ofc you know I wouldn’t be me without mentioning this novel. has been one of my fav movies for the longest time and I decided to read the book a while back. best decision of my life.

cooking is a great way to procrastinate…baking is nice too. I like art journalling, though I get pretty lazy with it sometimes. making gifts for friends and family or just wrapping gifts in creative ways, I used to be really into creative writing but I’m a bit out of practice now

ooh dunno actually. I’m pretty quiet but once you get me going, I’ll talk about anything really depending on what mood I’m in, but it could range from stuff like feminism, toxic masculinity, and climate to old paper, greek mythology, languages, art, fashion, books, music (can you tell I studied humanities…) I’ll talk about anything really, just keep me company. I literally went and got four more piercings today because I was so bored…

as for your question, well this year was okay i guess. honestly my brain is still stuck in 2019 and it’s been two years and i can’t get out of it but this year was especially hard and depressing, considering i didn’t get through in an exam i was really hoping to and the fact that i have to go to uni and deal with an abusive professor every day of the week😮‍💨im thankful i have my family with me to help me through everything though🥰🥰🥰

I’m thankful for so many things this year! I’ve seen a massive change in my mental health, for the better. I’m surrounded by the best friends/found family I could ask for. this year i had an important exam for my future and worked so hard for that. it went well but not the i wanted but still i am going to university which i am wanting from the beginning 🥺 i am thankful for that! of course i am thankful for my family and my friends. 1 month ago my university started and met so many new friends and they are all amazing people so i am thankful for them too!!

but this year it was hard for me. studying all day long, having an anxiety, living in turkey (it is still killing me and i want to scream and runaway) i was ill multiple times, went to emergency multiple times and grandfathers are sick right now… and more

at the university i met someone who loves taylor too and we spend our day together when red came out!! it was amazing 🥺

Guess what I did last week? I bought socks with HEDGEHOGS ROASTING MARSHMALLOWS on them AND socks of PENGUINS SKIING. HOW AMAZING IS THAT!!!     

Anyway, well that's the last time I tell anyone anything about animal anons plans, otherwise they will be spoiled and ruined by my friends! Oh well, it's all in good fun (and also forced me to keep my commitment of posting tonight despite being depressed that Jurgen got sent home...#gbbospoilers)!

Well as many people have predicted correctly, I passed the Bar! Hallelujah! I was sworn in as an attorney this week so I am officially an esq! I also am scheduled to received my dolly booster shot next week and earlier this month I started a new (not 80 hours a week) job! So I have had a fabulous month and have many things to be thankful for including my epic sock purchase! Which is perfect timing for the holiday ahead! So I wanna know what you are thankful for this year? I know it's been a tough year for so many so it can be as small or as large as you can think!

I'm so excited to learn more about everyone's year and what you're thankful for! Remember to tag animal anon (if you so desire) because I love scrolling through all your amazing responses! this year i'm grateful for my family & friends who are all fortunately healthy and safe, and for my cat !! and i'm happy i got a job a couple of months ago. i've learnt a lot and made new friends and gained some confidence, which is always good. and i'm happy i have plants in my bedroom.

this year has mostly sucked for me lmao i felt useless for the most part and i didn't get in the university i wanted and i cried a lot. but i know that many lovely things happened as well and i'm thankful for them :)
