Gentle reminder that very little fandom labor is automated, because I think people forget that a lot.
That blog with a tagging system you love? A person curates those tags by hand.
That rec blog with a great organization scheme and pretty graphics? Someone designed and implemented that organization scheme and made those graphics.
That network that posts a cool variety of stuff? People track down all that variety and queue it by hand, and other people made all the individual pieces.
That post with umpteen links to helpful resources, and information about them? Someone gathered those links, researched the sources, wrote up the information about them.
That graphic about fandom statistics? Someone compiled those statistics, analyzed them, organized them, figured out a useful way to convey the information to others, and made the post.
That event that you think looks neat? Someone wrote the rules, created the blogs and Discords, designed the graphics, did their best to promo the event so it'd succeed.
None of this was done automatically. None of it just appears whole out of the internet ether.
I think everyone realizes that fic writing and fanart creation are work, and at least some folks have got it through their heads that gif creation and graphics and moodboards take effort, and meta is usually respected for the effort that goes into it, at least as far as I've seen, but I feel like a lot of people don't really get how much labor goes into curation, too.
If people are creating resources, curating content, organizing the creations of others, gathering information, and doing other fandom activities that aren't necessarily the direct action of creation, they're doing a lot of fandom labor, and it's often largely unrecognized.
Celebrate fan work!
To folks doing this kind of labor: I see you, and I thank you. You are the backbones of our fandoms and I love you.

I suspect everyone is going to draw (and rightfully so), amazing images of them being in love. It's what they deserve! So as a token of my appreciation to everything I love about these two, I am finishing the event with them having fun and being competitive and "fighting" and being just happy with each other.
I am sure Katsuya is always thrilled to help Seto have fun and feel ok doing silly things and I am also sure Seto is grateful to be able to smile with him, fully aware of how he can enjoy himself and be loved because he deserves to be happy and have fun spontaneous moments with someone he knows will always try again, be there, no matter what.

Well I'm at the phase of migraine where I am having the painless but no less distressing tactile hallucination of having my skull slowly peeled apart like an onion so I guess I'm back here.
(I'm not in danger, it's been checked out, this just happens sometimes with my really bad barometric pressure migraines)

I got a really tough question.
What’s your favorite Twst event of ALL TIME?
I like Harveston
this truly is the hardest question. :( but after much consideration, I think Endless Halloween Night wins out for me, because it's nonstop Characters Being Silly the whole way through. the whole thing is just lots of these little dorks having the most ridiculous interactions, which is always my favorite! and of course the big twist is SO delightfully stupid and doubles down SO hard that it becomes AMAZING and I 100% unironically adore it. AND it's Halloween! everyone is in their cute little costumes and having a spooky adventure! it's great!
however, I am ALSO a big fan of the Harveston event! how can I not be! everyone is wearing comfy winter outfits and getting along really weirdly well with Epel's grandma and he's getting a little worried about that! my terrible loud son sews a plush squirrel and then gives it a silly little nickname and refuses to leave it behind when it breaks! the ending shot with the sled! I LOVE IT.
obviously we need the best of both worlds now

“And what happens when they catch a glimpse of you on their radar, huh?” Sonic grinned. “Well, first they’d have to catch me, sis.”
So excited to share my @sthbigbang piece for @skimmingmilk’s incredible underground fic, Relative Dissonance!! Please be sure to check it out, as well as the other amazing illustrations created for the fic by @eclecticjace (x) and @manicpanic-arts1 (x)!
