great question, i’ve been pondering about this for a while, it’s just when i saw luffy, i just knew he was my pasifika cousin 😭 i have reference sheets w all their hcs i’m working on to post later but let me go ahead n lay out rq how i would imagine the strawhats! i try to be as canon compliant as possible when assigning them.

usopp - afro-caribbean, specifically jamaican 🇯🇲

luffy - indigenous on both sides. so afro native samoan-brazilian. i stand by that forever. polynesian luffy real 🇼🇸🇧🇷. malagasy too. historically malagasy people are austronesian relatives as well anyway (malayo-polynesian) 🇲🇬

nami - thai-swedish. she’s ethnically fully thai, but when bellmere found her and nojiko, she took them to her hometown in sweden to be raised. im a firm believer in southeast asian nami 🇹🇭🇸🇪

zoro - afro japanese-caribbean. been a blasian zoro truther since day one. so japanese and haitian 🇯🇵🇭🇹

robin - double native as well !! native costa rican, the bribri people, and indigenous to eastern russia, yupik. she’s a challenge to figure out but i just know this is a native woman. 🇨🇷🇷🇺

so in terms of headcanons ik i've posted about him having ocd before, but i just wanna reiterate that bc it was a good post, and also it was written in a haze on my own ocd meds and that's how you know it's good content

hmmm other surlee stuff

despite being shown in canon to have extremely strong gags, i headcanon him as having a laff atrophy illness (called laffsickness in my personal lore) that causes him to lose laff the further he gets from the playground and have a very low laff maximum. laffsickness makes everyday travel a risk for him, as it's possible to have your laff cap drop down to 0 and become permanently sad, a condition which is almost always fatal. this is a big part of why he created his teleport system (which allows him to move from place to place safely) and prefers to either use a portable hole to go places or stay in safe areas. in my personal lore, he has combined-type laffsickness (combining low-laff cap/laff atrophy and laff degeneration) but those symptoms can exist separately

you can also cause him to drop laff if you startle him hard

doctor surlee gay trans icon imo and i personally think he and slappy have a gay thing going on. i just think surlee's whole story hits different through that lens and something about rewriting all of time and space just to try to save someone you love even if it means they might not know you or be close to you in that timeline or that the whole world exists so you can save them and make sure they live out the rest of their life makes me feel like my brain is being microwaved

i also think that when it comes to the fissiontons he very much sees them as like. one of the worst failures of his life. he really feels like it should have been him to get torn into nonexistence sometimes. honestly, more often than not he feels like that

i think that, were it safe for him to battle, he would have it out for the chief justice in particular because he raided his lab in the early canon. i doubt surlee has ever forgiven him for that

i also think that he would like. never be able to kill the chairman. i think that given the opportunity, he would falter. i think he sees the chairman as like. everything he hates about himself and thinks that maybe there's a way to take what he can't stand in himself out of the chairman. the chairman is like part of him and he just couldn't destroy him

Ayato - His smug vibes, his voice, HIS LITTLE BEAUTY MARK <3 though also the fact he has so much experience in being in charge and making decisions is also very <3 to me. i hate making decisions

Capitano - mm,,,,, big,,,,, strongk,,,, nice,,,, (most of the things i actually like about him are Not Canon so im not sure whether or not to count them but if we are its his face (mm prety), his big hands (for holding) and his protective instinct asjkdf)

Zhongli - Dragon guy ,,,, his wide array of knowledge about lots of things, his voice

Diavolo - dragon guy (to me),, his optimism, his himbo tendencies

Lucifer - same as ayato -- the fact he is good at making decisions and taking the lead, his wiiiiings <3, his grey streaks (sob)

Capitano - maybe that i try to see others for more than what they are on a surface level and give people the benefit of the doubt when trying to hear their side ?

Zhongli - possibly my curiosity ? i come up with a lot of random questions that others may find silly or not question in the first place (my google history is such a mess because of it) and i think hed have fun just going into random tangents and infodumps because of my questions, and id love to listen <3

Diavolo - my ability to help reel him in when he's being unrealistic/making questionable snap judgements or being Too Optimistic(tm)

Lucifer - probably similar to ayato in that ill always listen to him no matter what - and that i tend to behave myself (for the most part. maybe)

Ayato - often up super late into the night doing paperwork, though id imagine he finds a way to do some of them in bed, so we'll often end up with him sitting up, leaning against the headboard while im falling asleep next to him on my side with my back pressed up against his leg. id definitely hog the blankets because hed have these fancy sheets that barely keep out the cold. he just sighs and lets it happen. we wear cute matching pyjamas though so its ok <3 though when we're both asleep i imagine we end up spooning (hes big spoon OBVI)

Capitano - he probably pulls a lot of late nights for fatui stuff or whatever but i always try to stay awake to wait for him to get home bc im worried but end up falling asleep on the couch. he just wordlessly carries me to bed. we sleep facing each other and he has one arm draped over me while i curl up real small <3 though also the mental image of me trying to be the big spoon/jetpack is very very funny and would totally happen. oh my god i bet he snores SO loud though. and is really easy to accidentally wake up. if you drop something he jumps out of bed in a fighting stance kjhsjdkf

Zhongli - sleeps like a rock (ha). he basically just plonks down in the middle of the bed on his back, hands resting on his stomach like a mf corpse and leaves me to work around him. like he barely stirs even if i climb all over him. hes just like another pillow on the bed. his bedding is fancy but in a different way to ayato because theyre actually really really nice quality and soo comfy cozy. id probably end up laying on top of him, face-down with my head on his chest more often than not. mattress 2.0

Diavolo - he starfishes out across the middle of the bed in his full demon form, hes a blanket hog, he snores and talks in his sleep. probably sleeps in only boxers. he lets me lay on his wings and curl up close to him. he gets really super clingy at night though so sometimes itd be very hard for me to sleep much. he'll wake up from like a dead sleep and whine if i tried to move away to get comfy. we also have our own separate sets of blankets otherwise he'll leave me shivering at 2am curled up on the edge of the bed as he smacks me with his tail (I KNOW HE DOESNT CANONLY HAVE ONE LET ME DREAM)

Lucifer - We probably both fall asleep separately (or just doing the bare minimum of touches, holding hands or legs entangled a little) but tend to gravitate towards one another during the night. im a bit of a blanket hog but hes fine with it. he doesnt often sleep in his demon form or else i end up all night playing with his wings. soft. hehe. he also stays up very late but if i come to his study with a pathetic enough set of puppy dog eyes he'll cave and come to bed. and carry me there if im being lazy. hehe.

💋: Where are your favorite places to kiss your f/o/where are their favorite places to kiss you?

Ayato - Along his jaw and on his beauty mark!! but also his hands and forearms. he also gets a lot of nibbles im like a little rat <3 He gives a lot of ear, jaw and neck kisses.

Capitano - His face, if he has it exposed, is the number one target here I think. I wanna give him so many lil kissies <3. I'd imagine he likes giving forehead and top of the head kisses.

Zhongli - Listen. let me have my headcanons of a slightly more monstrous zhongli with scales and stuff. i like to imagine he has little scale-like markings/patches in soft/exposed parts (tummy, top of hands, that kinda thing) and i would give those spots many kisses. but also the tip of his nose because hed always do a cutely shocked look when i do. his favourite spot to smooch ? hands and shoulders i think, but also id imagine he likes giving little jaw kisses and collarbone kisses if theyre available <3

Diavolo - Cheeks and face!! but also shoulders and wings. and horns. and tummy. ehe. i think hed get all smiley and blushy and adorable when he's receiving smooches.

his favourite spot TO smooch requires a little explanation. the main sona of mine that i ship with him is an angel from the celestial realm, who has these sort of 'halo markings' all across his body (wrists, ankles, thighs, upper arms, tips of ears) and a few little teardrop-shaped markings on his cheeks that dia really likes to give little kissies to, as well as on his back right between his wings!! :D

Lucifer - he gets forehead kisses. and kisses next to his eyes and on his temples. he also gets a lot of nibbles on the wrist, knuckles and neck. i have this very vivid mental image of swooping in while hes doing boring work and smooching him until he stops frowning so much. its very cute. I think he'd like kissing the top of my head and pressing his face into my hair, but i think his favourite would be any pulse points, especially wrist and neck <3

Ship names

My name doesn't really go well with most of my favs (sobbing emoji) the only ship name im really happy with is 'Rowavolo' (which is me x Diavolo). I guess i could add 'Ro' to the end of Ayato or Capitano but it doesn't sound Right to me. comes off the tongue weird. so alas no ship names :<

In short, she's a kind and sweet femme who easily gets along with her crew and often sees or tries to see the good in others, before judging them. Although, she's also easily intimidated and doesn't really like to get into fights, due to her frail body.

But despite being open towards most, she's also insecure about many things regarding herself. Especially the fact that she's basically a human trapped in a Cybertronian body, who also happens to have a very weird spark, due to the expiriments done to her. (Not that she could do anything against that.)

Gonna go with Eda for this, because of course I am.

Eda would be rather interested in Strawberry, given that he can sense that her spark differs from the average Cybertronian's - not necessarily in a direct way, but since she's partially human her emotional projection (as he senses it) would be somewhat enigmatic. He'd be wary of her for that reason, too, because if he can't sense her emotions properly he'd worry she'd make an attempt at manipulation that he wouldn't be able to detect. Any attempts at placation or friendliness from Strawberry would be met with wariness, obfuscation, and/or even hostility from Eda, at least until he can figure out her emotion-projection data well enough to ensure he can recognize her intent.

If they ever held a conversation, he'd appreciate how she attempts to find the good in others before casting judgement, though he'd imagine that he didn't make it an easy thing to do. He'd pick up on her insecurity if it ever came up, but wouldn't try to coax out its source - he doesn't like people prying at his own scars, and respects that those who make overtures to befriend him might feel the same way about theirs. It'd take a long while before Eda would consider her - or anyone, really - to actually be his friend, though, but as long as she didn't bring friends or try to convince him to join the Autobots, they'd get along well enough, I think.

i just test th default ones a bunch. made a pixel one ive used for a couple things (i just remembered i drew a weird edgy little cad drawing n never did anything w it) .. but i like procreate pencil, derwent, 6b pencil, tamar, thylacine, spectra, mercury, little pine, and the grid one is useful too just for straight lines n stuff

Hmm I believe I already made a list of Red Velvet headcannons. However did you know that Red Velvet used to be my favorite cookie?

I started playing CRK in February when the Guild Update was in place (Tea knight and Eclair’s release) but before that I remember one of my first Epics was Red Velvet and he was on my team for a LOOONNGG while. Dude actually carried me through some battles and although I don’t use him anymore, he has my undying respect for helping me through my early game days.

I saw this a lil late because I was on that academic grind so sorry for the late reply bestie 💪 anyways this fr made me tear up 😭😭 like i KNOW that teen years are bs (and tbh it feels like mine ESPECIALLY have been bs, what with covid delivering the final nail in my social life coffin), and I KNOW things get better but all I ever hear from others is how important high school is and how many lifelong friends are made and teen love/first “real” romantic relationships happen and yadda yadda and it’s like damn…where do I get that???? But then!! But then ppl like you, another mutual of mine, and my older sister, are all like “wait for college it gets better i PROMISE” and I’m trying to wait but its so DIFFICULT knowing that it gets better but like….first I have to read the grapes of wrath. Which is in all honesty a small price to pay

No). Being told that it’s ok to be a hater on the teen years, and also that the expectation of doing everything and having the funnest coolest time ever in high school is a construct not worth striving for/not real in the first place., which validates my feelings more than being told I haven’t met the right friend group/person yet. It really does mean a lot as prom season comes up and the end of high school is approaching for me, and it feels like I have nothing to show for it.
