AU where Savitar, being Barry Allen's variant, kicks Zoom and Eobard's butts in the s9 finale

Better idea than canon ffs. Also, I do not know Sav as well as I know normal Barry so I apologize if I get his characterization wrong

He does side with the bad guys at first (I am not calling them the Legion of Zoom. who approved that shit) but ultimately plans to betray them soon as he gets what he wants/needs; changing the future enough to bring himself back into existence (idk how it would work but alas, neither did the writers).

The betrayal would probably come a little early, working on the same side as those who killed his dad and mom respectively would understandably be diffcult; and Savitar doesn't hold back like Barry. I actually think it would happen when Thawne goes after Nora (XS), I say that cause I really don't think even Savitar would try to kill his own daughter without reason; so when everyone runs off to fight, he would go after *checks notes* Allegra instead (as someone he has no connections/attachment to) and put her out of commission one way or another since it's confirmed (how? WHO KNOWS *screams*) that he knew who she was.

So Thawne goes after Nora and Sav decides he won't let that banana bastard hurt or kill anymore of his family (whether she's technically his kid or not) and stops him. Thawne of course gloats about how he {as a version Barry Allen} won't kill him. They fight and he lets Thawne get a few hits in for fun-- then Savitar gets to see that sweet look on his nemesis's face when he realizes who's faster, and stops holding back. The first 'fight' between Savitar and Barry in season 3? Yeah picture that but a lot more brutal and somehow more personal. Then, once Thawne is thoroughly beat to hell; Sav reverse flashes him and runs off to fight the other person who once destroyed his life.

He runs through the tunnel just before Zoom would have killed all the officers (since Khione and Mark are already knocked out if not dead-- this is what happened. don't even.), and does it without his suit so Zoom will chase him (cause all he'll see is yellow lightning). Of course, once they get to a new location and see each other face to face; Zoom gets in a quick gloat about how they really were the same after all. Savitar lets him have that; it's not true + will make it all the better in a few seconds. Same with Thawne, he lets Zoom get a few hits in, maybe even feigns fear-- and then Sav fucking obliterates him in a 'fight' that parallels the one in Enter Zoom. Hell, he should break Zoom's back for extra funsies. We get a scene similar to 2x23 where Zoom says Sav won't kill him; but this time, he does.

Things go mostly according to canon from here. Eddie absorbs all the NSF users lifeforce (or smth idk what that was man), and Savitar ends up going with it. He doesn't accept this 'death', but there is a brief moment of catharsis with the revenge before he's once again erased from existence.

Why is immortal Sion ready to fight with the Exile in the Sith Academy on Korriban and chase them to the entrance, but not ready to step out the door and chase the Exile? And why does Kreia recommend going to the Academy first, knowing that Sion is there, and only after that coming into the cave? Can't Sion enter the cave for some reason? I can't get it... Does anybody know the answers?:)

5. fighting style?

liah is a soldier and jedi guardian so she heavily emphasizes melee combat with fast and powerful strikes, aiming to dispatch her opponent before they can react or counterattack! she doesn't use force powers much besides augmenting her speed and mobility and the occasional force push when needed. she's a much more physical jedi than bastila or jolee for example.

jedi guardians can also use force jump to instantly close the distance to enemies and it's perfect for liah because she is the frontline fighter and will gladly jump right into the fray before the rest of the party has even drawn their weapons. just picture her zooming and flipping and spinning across the battlefield and just. destroying her enemies with the sheer force of her momentum. god she's so cool. in one in-game dialogue carth says "you've got the skills of an elite commando" and it's like. so true bestie.....

also liah uses a double-bladed lightsaber right. as a padawan she learned that the double-bladed lightsaber can deal more damage but is also more difficult to master than the common single-bladed one so obviously she decided she would have to master it. to challenge herself and to prove that she can. and also because the idea of being more powerful fascinated her. this was absolutely not a red flag and did not herald her fall to the dark side at all

12. what is their attitude towards winning?

to liah winning is something to be proud of and proof that all her training is paying off! she is confident in her skills and she goes into almost every battle with the mindset that she will win. and in a life-or-death situation she will of course do everything she can to ensure victory but in a less serious encounter - like the duel ring on taris - it's more about the opportunity to challenge herself and see how far she can push herself and how much better she can get. i mean she still takes it seriously and expects to win lmao but being the adrenaline junkie she is she's also there to have a good time and enjoy the thrill of the fight.

13. what is their attitude towards losing?

due to her (sometimes unfounded) confidence liah tends to forget that she's not invincible and can actually lose? and when she loses she becomes weirdly frustrated and retreats into the mini gym she set up inside the ebon hawk to blow off steam on the punching bag. but once the shock and anger wears off and her mind is clear she will meditate on what she can learn from the loss. and then she goes back to training to work on her weaknesses so she won't lose next time. it's that unwavering shonen protag style resolve baby

17. speed, strength or strategy?

speed and strength in equal measure? she's not stupid (i gave her 14 int in character creation bc a guide told me to ok) or incapable of devising strategies when a situation calls for it but she is reckless and so certain of her own abilities that most of the time she thinks she doesn't need any strategy besides "lightsaber go wWwoooOom"

this of course doesn't always work and liah will have to confront the harsh truth that she has weaknesses that the others can cover with their strengths. she eventually learns to listen to the more cautious companions and work together with them as a team 🫶

29. who do they want to fight the most?

carth lol... verbally at least. in an actual fight liah would most likely curb-stomp him so it's a good thing their arguments never turn physical. or do they 😳

to give a proper answer tho... malak i guess? like yea she wants to stop him but after the Reveal it becomes personal and she wants to 1v1 malak and will stop at nothing to strike him down herself. also not to get too deep abt this but like... she probably wants to fight herself more than anyone. would love to kick her own ass. unfortunately she can't fight herself physically but damn if she doesn't have some inner war with herself going on 24/7. it's rough.

A KotOR 3 Theory

Some foundational pieces…

In KotOR 2 (if the stars align)… Carth tells the Exile that Revan left after KotOR 1… that she said [A] there was a path she needed to walk alone, [B] it was one she would never take anyone she loved on, and [C] asked him to stay behind, tasked him with keeping the Republic strong, which was important to her.

The way she spoke left him waiting for her return, whether it was her intention or not, and this implies some things about her demeanor and hopes at the time too.

(For the record… this scene he describes has lived rent free in my head for nigh on two decades, so thanks for that BioWare…)

With Carth’s help, you also realize that your ship, the Ebon Hawk (beloved), is the same one Revan left with. You found it discarded on Malachor V, which is ominous at best.

Three possible implications follow…

1. Revan died on Malachor V.

Darth Traya and her apprentices are suspect here, but the way Kreia talks about Revan leads me to believe this is not the case.

2. Revan is alive somewhere on the surface of Malachor V.

The Exile and their companions find no evidence of Revan’s presence though, and Traya makes no comment supporting this theory. It’s possible, but unlikely due to the length of time she would have needed to survive with no resources, and especially in light of the planet’s nature, which is worse than a barren wasteland. Its a wound in the force, a siphon on life itself.

3. Revan abandoned the Ebon Hawk on Malachor V as part of her journey.

I find this the most likely scenario. It raises other significant questions, like where Revan went, and how she was able to reach the next step of her journey, but doesn’t contradict anything in canon. It actually echoes canon events of the past.

Theory 3 aligns with Revan’s history.

It’s worth noting that Revan is canonically a compassionate, altruistic, feeling character, as evidenced by her refusal to let the outer rim worlds fall, and even among her enemies, she is characterized as charismatic, decisive, intelligent, and above all, a brilliant strategist.

The thing about Revan is that she was always willing to make the hard call.

More than that, she was willing to carry the cost.

If the Mandalorian Wars changed Revan, it was only in amplifying this quality. She was still a defender of the people. A hero of the Republic.

This doesn’t change when Revan and Malak retreat into dark space at the end of the war. They may be battered and ragtag, but their fundamental characters are ultimately unchanged.

And this is where we tread into headcanon & theory…

To me, this circular narrative where Revan disappears again indicates that she suddenly remembered something from her past — something she and Malak discovered out there that was important enough to drop everything for and cut all ties, even with the people she loved most.

Something more than the Star Forge 😳

Because what was the Star Forge?

Only a tool.

A tool for building an army.

Revan, always more attuned than Malak, would recognize it for what it was.

The Star Forge doesn’t corrupt on sight… Revan wasn’t ruined the moment she came in contact... It takes time. It takes focus. It takes alignment to its core purpose, which is innately of the dark side.

Altruistic Revan would need a REASON to use it.

A reason to risk that.

And nothing is more ominous than considering what made cost-counting Revan willing to risk a fall… willing to risk becoming the very thing she’d sacrificed everything to destroy, undoing all the work of the Mandalorian Wars, to earn that army.

What did Revan FIND in dark space that drove her to the Star forge?

Because the real tragedy of Revan’s fall is that she failed her mysterious task, and instead of defending the galaxy from this ominous threat, she became just another tool in its destruction.

This time, there would be no Star Forge.

There would be no natural armies.

There would be no companions.

This time she would go alone.

And if there was cost to carry, she would carry it alone.

So she left it all behind, pitting all the quiet of a single person and all the cunning of the galaxy’s greatest strategist against it.

But if she failed, she’d charged Carth with one last task, an impossible one… with bringing life back to the Republic which still staggered and threatened to fall, broken by her own hand.

The galaxy's last line of defense should she fail.

If this is beginning to feel familiar... it should.

An unnamed, unknown threat hiding somewhere out there in dark space too powerful for an entire galaxy to withstand?

And one person attempting to stand alone against it?

They done wrote themselves straight out of Star Wars.... 🙈

The way I had to double check and lay on the ground after reading this is insane. You're calling me a jedi master??? You?? The person who made want to draw kotor art in the first place? I'm completely undone with this and if there's any master among us, it's you!

To answer your question, I don't have anything like that yet. I'm not sure I'm at that level nor have cool things to offer in return. There's so many things I have to learn still. Maybe one day!

I was tagged by @marythegizka and tried to do experiments with my image of Revan using picrew . Thank you sm!:) Actually, this lady was meant to be Revan before the Mandalorian War but ended up with being Alexandra Forst, a smuggler and pseudo-space explorer, though. She mostly looks pretty annoyed, sceptical, serious or even disappoined, as she's not crazy about the idea of getting caught up in searching for Star Maps and standing against the Sith and Darth Malak at all. And, the last but not the least, she doesn't fancy having to be led up by Bastila as well. I have no idea why she has such big ears, only a guess that it may've happened because sha has to hear some bullshit said by Jedi masters and Bastila at times.
